The Sabbath: YAHUAH’S Everlasting Covenant
The world today has completely forgotten YAHUAH’S Sabbath. Even amongst those whom believe that the ten commandments should be kept, do not keep the seventh day of the week Holy to YAHUAH. YAHUAH’S seventh day Sabbath has been corrupted and degraded. His Sabbath is not what people call the “Jewish Sabbath” (Saturday on the Roman calendar), or the “Christian Sabbath” (Sunday on the Roman calendar), but rather in accordance to the moon, which was lost by the 4th Century A.D.
When YAHUAH’S seventh day Sabbath was instituted, there was not one Jew nor Christian in sight. The fourth commandment clearly states that “…the seventh day is the Sabbath of YAHUAH your Aluahim” (Exodus 20:10). It is not a Jewish Sabbath, but YAHUAH’S Sabbath. Therefore, any person proclaiming to worship the Aluahim of the Bible should be keeping the seventh day Sabbath in accordance to the moon in which He made for Apointed Times (refer to Psalm 104:19 and Genesis 1:14). YAHUAH’S Sabbath day was instituted in the garden of Eden directly after the six days of creation, and it stands to this very day. Moses writes,
Genesis 2:1-3: Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day Aluahim ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And YAHUAH blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which YAHUAH created and made.
The seventh day Sabbath is a memorial to YAHUAH’S creation of the heavens, the earth, the seas, and everything in them. Our first parents (Adam and Eve) kept the Sabbath, and along with all of YAHUAH’S obedient children well before it was written on stone and given to Moses. By keeping YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath, we are recognizing YAHUAH as our Creator and Aluahim. We are acknowledging the six literal days of creation (not evolution), His enclosed cosmology (not Heliocentrism), His true calendar which was established in the very beginning (astro-lunar-solar), and along with keeping the everlasting covenant (the Torah). When we neglect to keep the fourth commandment, we are not only transgressing the Law of our Creator, but not giving the credit of creation to the appropriate source.
We need to be reminded that: YAHUAH exists, He created the heavens and earth in six literal days, His Law (Torah) still stands, His Word is true, His promise is everlasting, and His Son will return. All of these can be displayed by keeping His holy Sabbath. Satan has attempted to make void every single one of YAHUAH’S commandments, making people believe that His Law including the seventh day Sabbath is not His covenant. YAHUAH obviously knew that this specific commandment would under-go much scrutiny. This is why He says, “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy”.
YAHUAH’S Mark
All throughout the Bible we are reminded that anyone who does not keep YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath will be put to death. This has both a spiritual meaning pertaining to our eternal salvation, and a literal meaning that pertained to Moses’s day. When speaking to Moses, YAHUAH said,
Exodus 31:13-17: You shall keep the Sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to YAHUAH: whosoever does any work in the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. Whereforethe children of Yasharal shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign (oth) between Me and the children of Yasharal forever: for in six days YAHUAH made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested, and was refreshed.
It is easy for some people to say that this verse only pertains to ancient Yasharal, but YAHUAH was very specific when He said, “perpetual covenant” and “a sign forever”. Many other Scriptures refer to it as the “everlasting covenant” (refer to Genesis 17:7, Jeremiah 32:40, and Hebrews 13:20). Also, everyone that is baptized into Mashiach has been grafted into Aluahim’s family and is henceforth called the children of Yasharal. In the previous verses, YAHUAH is telling Moses that the fourth commandment is a proclamation, declaring that He is our Creator and Aluahim. That it was YAHUAH that made the heavens, the earth, the seas, and everything in them, and that we should follow His example and rest on the seventh day of the week. This holy day is given to us to better get to know our heavenly Father, and it is the separating wall between His children and the rest of the world. YAHUAH says to the prophet Ezekiel,
Ezekiel 20:19-20: I am YAHUAH; walk in My statutes, and keep My judgements, and do them; And hallow My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign (oth) between Me and you, that you may know that I am YAHUAH your Aluahim.
By obeying YAHUAH’S commandment, and resting in Him every seventh day of His calendar week, we will be granted knowledge beyond this world. The seventh day “Sabbath was made for man” as Yahushua states, so that we may know that YAHUAH is our Aluahim and Creator of heaven, the earth, the seas, and everything in them.
Now, let’s take a deeper look at the Hebrew word used for sign in both the passages of Exodus and Ezekiel. This is Strong’s Concordance number 226 Oth (Oth): a mark, or a sign.
The passages in both Exodus and Ezekiel reveals that the fourth commandment – the keeping of YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath, is Aluahim’s mark. When referring to the ten commandments, Moses says to the children of Yasharal,
Deuteronomy 6:8: And you shall bind them for a sign (Oth: mark) upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
“your hand” refers to action; living our life according to YAHUAH’S Law. This means we worship Aluahim by our works and not by vain words (refer to James 2:18). We can say all we want about how much we love Aluahim, but if we do not keep YAHUAH’S commandments including His holy Sabbath, then we are doing everything in vain.
“Frontlets between your eyes” refers to our frontal lobe, the part of the brain in charge of reasoning. This means we acknowledge that YAHUAH’S Law (Torah) is the right thing to do, and therefore choose to keep it no matter the temptation to please self, or the persecutions that arise.
See, Satan tries to get us to sin or break Aluahim’s commandments through our emotions via temporal lobe, but if we can overcome making emotional/selfish decisions, and choose to make decisions based on reason and love for Aluahim via our frontal lobe, then we will receive YAHUAH’S mark. We were created to have free will, to choose to obey our Maker or choose to please self and ultimately give our power over to Satan. In the end, it’s all up to every decision and action we have made in our life.
Grafted In The Olive Tree
Most Christians are familiar with John 3:16 that says,
John 3:16: For Aluahim so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
People may read this, and conclude that YAHUAH’S covenant was only for the children of Yasharal until the coming of Mashiach. This is far from the truth. The Testimony of Aluahim has always been the same, “I am YAHUAH, I change not” (Malachi 3:6). And “Yahushua HaMashiach the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). Before Yahushua walked on this earth, people still had to believe in Him in order to gain everlasting life. When they kept YAHUAH’S Appointed Times (Sabbaths as Ezekiel 20:19-20 states), and sacrificial system, they were showing their faith in the promised Mashiach to come. YAHUAH’S covenant has always extended to everyone, or “whosoever” as John puts it. We’re told in the book of Isaiah,
Isaiah 56:6-7: Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YAHUAH, to serve Him, and to love the name of YAHUAH, to be His servants, every one that keeps the Sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of My covenant; Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon Mine altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.
Anyone and everyone who chooses to turn away from transgressing YAHUAH’S commandments, and chooses to keep His holy Sabbath, and proclaims that Yahushua is the Mashiach, will inherit eternal life. YAHUAH’S covenant was never only for one people, but for the whole world. John makes it very clear of whom it is that makes up spiritual Yasharal,
Revelation 7:9-10: After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before The LAMB, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hand; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to YAHUAH which sits upon the throne, and unto The LAMB.
YAHUAH has always granted those whom keep His Law, with emphasis on His Sabbath (YAHUAH’S mark), inheritance to the seed of Abraham,
Isaiah 58:13-14: If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy day;and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of YAHUAH, honorable; and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words: Then shall you delight yourself in YAHUAH; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of YAHUAH has spoken it.
It is not only a New Testament (Brit Chadashah) concept to be graft into the “olive tree” as Paul puts it. During the great exodus, many Egyptians left with the Hebrews, because they worshiped YAHUAH. Throughout each generation, there are stories of Gentiles whom chose to leave their people and their deities to live amongst the Hebrews to worship YAHUAH. Take the account of Ruth. When Ruth’s mother-in-law told her to go back to her people and her pagan deities, because she had no more sons to marry off to her, this is how Ruth responds,
Ruth 1:16: Intreat me not to leave you, or to return from following after you: for wherever you go, I will go; and where you lodge, I will lodge: your people shall be my people, and your Aluahim my Aluahim.
In return to Ruth’s worship and obedience to YAHUAH’S Law, He grafted her into the “olive tree”. He blessed her by literally making her a mother of the tribe of Yasharal, whom begat the seed in which king David came through. This is simply one of many Old Testament (Tanakh) stories that proves to us, that anyone whom chooses to keep YAHUAH’S commandments will become His son or daughter.
Another story is of Rahab whom had faith in the Aluahim of Yasharal, and asked the two spies to show mercy to her and her family. But it was Aluahim that brought down the walls of Jericho and not the Hebrew army. So once again, YAHUAH showed mercy to a Gentile woman who was even once a harlot, but chose to turn away from her life of sin and worship the One and only true Aluahim by keeping His covenant and Sabbath.
Keeping YAHUAH’S covenant; His appointed times, His ordinances, and His ten commandments including His holy Sabbath, can be challenging living in the world today. And this is why we are told to “be you separate”, and to, “come out of her, My people”. See, every time Yasharal went into captivity, they too had a very difficult time worshipping YAHUAH. They were living amongst non-believers, whom were tainting their views of good and evil. They started to adopt some of their pagan traditions, and slowly began to forget YAHUAH’S covenant. This is why YAHUAH wanted them to be separate, to live in the land of Canaan, which He brought them to from out of the land of Egypt. The Psalmist writes,
Psalm 105:45: For He remembered His holy promise, and Abraham His servant. And He brought forth His people with joy, and His chosen with gladness: And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labor of the people; that they might observe His statutes, and keep His Laws. Praise YAHUAH.
Egypt Will Be Repeated
YAHUAH’S everlasting covenant is the same today as it was then. We are living amongst non-believers who have: tainted YAHUAH’S Word, made void His Law (Torah), and have adopted traditions from ancient pagan beliefs. YAHUAH will remember His promise, and deliver His loyal people to spiritual Canaan (New Yarushalam), where we will be able to worship Him every day without the distractions and snares of the Devil. This also means, that anyone who breaks YAHUAH’S covenant by not keeping His Torah – ten commandments, ordinances and precepts, and appointed times, including the seventh day Sabbath (which is considered an appointed time), will receive the seven last plagues before Mashiach’S second coming. This is mentioned in John’s Revelation.
Revelation 18:4: Come out of her, My people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.
The very first time YAHUAH sent plagues down unto mankind, was because His people were not allowed to keep His covenant Law; His appointed times, precepts and ordinances, His ten commandments, and especially His holy Sabbath (which falls under both the fourth commandment and the first appointed time). We can learn from the story of the Exodus which is a typology for the final exodus for Aluahim’s people. We read,
Exodus 5:1-2: And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus says YAHUAH Aluahim of Yasharal, Let My people go, that they may hold a Feast (moed) unto Me in the wilderness. And Pharaoh said, Who is YAHUAH, that I should obey His voice to let Yasharal go? I know not YAHUAH, neither will I let Yasharal go.
The children of Yasharal wanted to keep YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath – an appointed time (moed), and go into the wilderness to make sacrifices unto YAHUAH for their transgressions of the Law (Torah), but Pharaoh would not let them go for the three days Moses asked. Take note, that the Sabbath is the first of all the moedim – appointed times. Let’s read about it right now,
Leviticus 23:2-3: Speak unto the children of Yasharal, and say unto them, Concerning the Feasts (moed) of YAHUAH, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are Feasts (moed). Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; you shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of YAHUAH in all your dwellings.
The Hebrew word feast used in both Leviticus 23 and Exodus 5:1-2 is Strong’s Concordance number 4150, moed (mo-ade): feast, appointed time, appointed feast, place, or meeting. Appointed time is a more appropriate rendering than the word feast, because not all the appointed times are feast days.
Moses quarreled with Pharaoh for many days to try and get Pharaoh to grant this appointed time to make sacrifices for the atonement of Yasharal’s sins (transgression of the Torah) and to keep YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath. Pharaoh would not let Yasharal keep YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath, so Moses reminded all of Yasharal to cease from their works on the seventh day of the lunar week. We read,
Exodus 5:4-5: And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do you, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens. And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and you make them rest (shabath) from their burdens.
The Hebrew word used for rest is Strong’s Concordance number 7673, shabath (shaw-bath’): rest, and to keep Sabbath.
This made Pharaoh very mad, because the Hebrews were choosing to follow YAHUAH’S commandments rather than that of Pharaoh’s. So Pharaoh pompously assigned more labor to the Hebrews. Pharaoh said,
Exodus 5:9: Let more work be laid upon the men, that they may labor therein; and let them not regard vain words.
The Hebrews were falling behind on their daily quotas, because they chose to obey YAHUAH rather than man, and keep YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath. So, Pharaoh beat the officers in which he had set over the Hebrew workers. We read,
Exodus 5:14: And the officers of the children of Yasharal, which Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have you not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and today, as before?
The children of Yasharal were beaten for keeping YAHUAH’S Sabbath, and then forced to work on His holy Sabbath. This action took the free will of YAHUAH’S children away from them and therefore, it angered both Moses and Aluahim very much. And when Moses took this to YAHUAH,
Exodus 6:1: YAHUAH said unto Moses, Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
The story of the exodus gives us more proof that YAHUAH’S seventh-day Sabbath – the fourth commandment and first appointed time, existed well before the tablets of stone. Before Moses actually received the stone tablets, YAHUAH once again reminded His people to keep the seventh-day Sabbath when He rained manna from the heavens. Moses writes,
Exodus 16:23-30: And he said unto them, This is that which YAHUAH has said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto YAHUAH: bake that which you will bake to day, and boil that you will boil; and that which remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm in it. And Moses said, Eat that today; for today is a Sabbath unto YAHUAH: today you shall not find it in the field. Six days you shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, in it there shall be none. And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. And YAHUAH said unto Moses, How long refuse you to keep My commandments and My Laws? See, for that YAHUAH has given you the Sabbath, therefore He gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide you every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. So the people rested on the seventh day.
The Hebrews were enslaved in Egypt just long enough to forget YAHUAH’S Law (Torah); ten commandments, ordinances, and appointed times, in which He ordained from the very beginning. YAHUAH’S Law (Torah) was passed down from word of mouth to each generation, but after Egyptian slavery, the Hebrews needed them written down. To this day, the Torah (Law) is inscribed in every single Bible. Every professed follower of Mashiach can easily open up their Bible to Exodus 20:8, in which YAHUAH is once again reminding His people to,
Exodus 20:8: Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy!
But unfortunately, because we have been enslaved in spiritual Egypt for so long, the majority of us have forgotten the Law of our Creator. And so YAHUAH says,
Exodus 16:28: … How long refuse you to keep My commandments and My Laws?
And the prophet Malachi clearly tells us,
Hosea 4:6: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to Me: seeing you have forgotten the Law (Torah) of your Aluahim, I will also forget your children.
We are expected to keep our Creator’s holy Sabbath (based on the phases of the moon) all the way up until our king returns. At some point, we will all be tried and eventually face some type of persecution or imprisonment for doing so. And sadly, some of us will be put to death just like our king, the ancient Hebrews, the Apostles, the early followers of Mashiach, and many other countless names throughout history. Prophesy tells us that those who choose to keep YAHUAH’S holy seventh day Sabbath (based on the phases of the moon) will be beheaded. John writes,
Revelation 20:4: And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahushua, and for the Word of Aluahim, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Mashiach a thousand years.
Because Pharaoh persecuted the Sabbath-keepers, and made it almost physically impossible for Yasharal to keep YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath, Aluahim sent ten plagues upon the land and upon the people of Egypt. The children of Yasharal experienced the first three plagues, but in the end-days the children of Yasharal will be protected, thus there will only be seven plagues which will fall upon all the land of spiritual Egypt (the whole world) and all of the unrighteous inhabitants of it.
As history repeats itself, when the leaders of this world make it almost physically impossible, and life threatening for us to keep the true Sabbath (based on the phases of the moon), all while imposing their own laws and traditions (based on their Roman calendar), YAHUAH will send the seven last plagues upon the whole earth.
144,000 Sealed
Everyone who chooses to obey man above Aluahim will not be saved from the seven last plagues, just like the people of Egypt who chose to follow the pagan traditions that Pharaoh set in place were stricken with those plagues. But the servants of YAHUAH who choose to “obey Aluahim rather than men” (Acts 5:29), and whom keep His everlasting covenant; His Law (Torah), and His holy Sabbath, will be “sealed” in their foreheads.
Unbelievers will try to get us to receive the mark of the Beast in order to save our mortal lives, mock us for keeping YAHUAH’S lunar Sabbath, and even try to get us to lose faith by saying,
2 Peter 3:4: Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
But YAHUAH will not allow all of His children to be killed. For His own sake, He will keep a remnant alive during this short time of trouble. These are the 144,000 which will not taste death. These are the disciples of Mashiach in which will be sealed before the seven last plagues fall unto the earth. John writes,
Revelation 7:2-4: And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living Aluahim: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our Aluahim in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Suddenly, just like the first plague struck Egypt, the first vial of the seven last plagues will be poured upon the earth, rewarding both the pharaohs of this world and all who chose not to keep YAHUAH’S covenant: His ten commandments, ordinances, appointed times, and His holy Sabbath. Many professed followers of Mashiach (i.e. Christians) will then realize that they were deceived into receiving Satan’s mark which is worshipping according to Satan’s calendar; the Roman Gregorian calendar. And that they are responsible for the death of Aluahim’s obedient children who kept His everlasting covenant (refer to John 16:2). At this time, probation will close, and it will be too late for people to choose to believe the Testimony of Yahushua (the Prophets) or to keep Aluahim’s Torah (Law). The prophet records the Word of YAHUAH saying,
Isaiah 8:16: Bind up the Testimony, seal the Torah (Law) among My disciples.
These disciples that Isaiah is writing about, are the remnant of 144,000. “These are they which follow the Lamb wherever He goes” (Revelation 14:4). Aluahim promises them that,
Psalm 91:10-11: There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:14-16: Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known My Name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him My salvation.
Let’s break down the previous passage of Psalm 91:14-16:
“He has set his love upon Me”. To love Aluahim is to keep His commandments (refer to John 14:15). Keeping Aluahim’s commandments will deliver the remnant in the day of trouble.
“Because he has known My Name”. To know Aluahim’s name is to know His character. Aluahim has many characteristics, but the most beautiful characteristic is His mercy. The Psalmist writes,
Psalm 103:17-18: But the mercy of YAHUAH is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children’s children; To such as keep His covenant, and to those that remember His commandments to do them.
This is what it means to fear the name of YAHUAH. It means to keep His everlasting covenant – His ten commandments, ordinances, and appointed times, including His seventh day Sabbath.
“I will be with him in trouble”. The time of trouble mentioned in Psalm 91, is Jacob’s trouble – during the last year before Mashiach’S return.
“Show him My salvation”. The Hebrew word for Salvation in Psalm 91:16 is Strong’s Concordance number 3444, Y’shuah (Yeshuah, or can also be rendered as; Yahushuah). The 144,000 will be the first of Aluahim’s people to literally see Yahushua – YAHUAH’S Salvation, when He returns after the seven last plagues have come to an end. Speaking of the 144,000, the Revelator writes,
Revelation 14:4: These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto Aluahim and to the Lamb.
The disobedient inhabitants of the earth will blame YAHUAH’S children for the seven last plagues, just like Pharaoh and the Egyptians blamed Moses and the Hebrews for the ten plagues. Like Pharaoh, these people have rejected YAHUAH’S Ruach (Spirit), His Testimony (the Prophets and Writings), and His covenant (His Torah including His Sabbath) time and time again. They have said, “Who is YAHUAH, that I should obey His voice”. YAHUAH is merciful and patient, and gives us ample chances and warnings to turn away from our sins and keep His everlasting covenant. Now let’s read what Aluahim says about all those who continuously reject the “everlasting covenant”,
Proverbs 1:24-29: Because I have called, and you refused; I have stretched out My hand, and no man regarded; But you have set at nought all My counsel, and would none of My reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes; when your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish comes upon you. Then shall they call upon Me, but I will not answer; they shall seek Me early, but they shall not find Me: For that they hated knowledge [refer to Hosea 4:6], and did not choose the fear of YAHUAH.
After the seven last plagues, our Savior will lead us out of this typological Egypt; a world of persecution, transgression of the Torah, and pagan traditions, and into the land of New Canaan or New Yarushalam as the Revelator puts it. Just as after the tenth and final plague fell upon ancient Egypt, directly after the seventh and final plague is released unto the whole earth, YAHUAH’S children will rest on the holy seventh-day Sabbath (refer to Exodus 12:22, Numbers 33:2-3, Deuteronomy 16:1, and The Millennial Sabbath).
The second coming of Mashiach is the final Exodus for all those who have kept YAHUAH’S everlasting covenant Law (Torah); His appointed times, His ten commandments, His ordinances, and His holy seventh-day Sabbath. The theme around the final exodus will be YAHUAH’S holy seventh day Sabbath which is based on the phases of the moon. The children of Yasharal will either worship according to YAHUAH’S calendar (astro-lunar-solar) or the Roman Gregorian calendar (Sunday-Saturday).
