Who Are The Nephilim; Sons of Fallen Angels?
There is a belief in the world today, that Satan’s fallen angels had relations with women on earth. These fallen angels are supposed to have been the parents of a new cross breed species, called Nephilim. We will soon find out, that the Scriptures do not support this pagan belief.
This false dogma quite possibly came from the Book of Enoch, which is an uninspired pseudepigrapha. The term pseudepigrapha basically means that it is a work attributed to an author whom is not the actual author of the book. The Book of Enoch is also considered an Apocrypha book. The word Apocrypha is a Greek word which literally means: to hide away. This is fitting, because the philosophies in the Book of Enoch are purely hidden pagan occult teachings. The Word of Aluahim will always shine light on the Truth, and never keep anything in the dark, or hidden. Yahushua tells us,
Luke 8:17: For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither anything hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
Any professed follower of Mashiach (wrongfully called a Christian) who believes the pagan story of fallen angels reproducing with mankind is not believing the actual Word of Aluahim. But instead, an uninspired writer whom teaches secret pagan doctrines. In order to find out the truth of whom the Nephilim are, we will need to study the two passages in the Bible where the word Nephilim is used. While doing so, we will also reveal whom Moses was writing about in Genesis 6, when he uses the terms “the sons of Aluahim”, and “the daughters of men”. So let’s dive right into this topic, by starting with the passage in Genesis chapter 6. It reads as follows,
Genesis 6:1-7: And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of Aluahim saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And YAHUAH said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants (Nephilim) in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of Aluahim came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And Aluahim saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And YAHUAH was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him in His heart. And YAHUAH said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for I am sorry that I have made them.
Many false doctrines can be supported by reading a Scripture out of context. By not performing an extensive study on the topic, many professed Christians will easily believe what the world teaches about the Aluahim of the Bible and not what the Bible actual truly teaches. This theory of the Nephilim is one of those examples, so in order to get a better perspective we will need to break this passage down piece by piece. There is a whole lot of information in these verses, and there are five main questions we need to answer in order to better understand them.
- Who are the sons of Aluahim?
- Who are the daughters of men?
- Who and what are these Nephilim?
- Who and what are these mighty men?
- Why does Aluahim want to destroy every living creature on earth?
Sons of Aluahim and Daughters of Men
Let us get a bit of perspective of where Genesis 6 is in the stream of time. This time period is after the generation of Adam and Eve, and during the time of Noah. There are eight generations between Adam and Noah, and roughly 1,056 years. This is plenty of time to abundantly increase the population of the world (given the command to be fruitful and multiple). To give even more perspective, YAHUAH did not flood the earth for roughly another 600 years after this time. This means, that man would have been on the earth for around 1,656 years before the flood. Let us go back a couple chapters and read what is written about the two patriarchs; Cain and his younger brother Seth.
Genesis 4:16: And Cain went out from the presence of YAHUAH, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
Cain and his descendants no longer wanted to worship and give praise to their Creator. This is what it means “to go out from the presence of YAHUAH”. No longer did they obey YAHUAH, and therefore they were no longer filled with His Ruach (Spirit) nor considered His children but rather the children of the Devil (refer to John 8:44). They built and lived in cities, distracting themselves from their spiritual obligations. Early on we can see how those who choose to ignore YAHUAH and live selfishly are drawn to living in cities. And Moses writes this about Seth,
Genesis 4:26: And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of YAHUAH.
Seth and his descendants chose to worship and praise their Creator. That’s what it means when “they called upon the name of YAHUAH”. This line of descendants chose to obey YAHUAH; keep His commandments, ordinances, and statutes, and therefore were granted His Ruach (Spirit) and considered Aluahim’s children (refer to John 1:12-13). They lived more simply and in more remote areas of the earth.
When we choose to seek YAHUAH, obey Him, and put our trust and belief in Him, then we are granted two very powerful blessings.
1. We are granted His Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit).
Yahushua says,
John 14:15-17: If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world is not able to receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.
2. We are adopted as Aluahim’s children.
John writes,
John 1:10-12: He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of Aluahim, even to them that believe on his name (or call upon His name).
Revelation 21:7: He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his Aluahim, and he shall be My son.
And Paul writes,
Romans 8:14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of Aluahim, they are the sons of Aluahim.
2 Corinthians 6:17-18: Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says YAHUAH, and touch not the unclean things, and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says YAHUAH.
Galatians 3:26: For you are all children of Aluahim by faith in Yahushua HaMashiach.
See, Seth’s line of descendants inherited the title, “sons of Aluahim”. This is because they strived to know their Creator, believed on His name, and were obedient to His commandments.
For Cain’s line of descendants, they inherited the title, “sons of men” or “daughters of men” when referring to a woman, because they did not do the will of Aluahim but rather the will of their own flesh.
Luke spells it out clearly when he lists the ancestry of the Mashiach. He begins with Yahushua and tracks each generation all the way back to Adam. This is how he finishes the lineage,
Luke 3:38: Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of Aluahim.
Only through the line of the sons of Aluahim did the Mashiach come in the flesh. Throughout all of time, Aluahim refers to His faithful and obedient servants, as His children.
Many will then ask the question, “aren’t we all Aluahim’s children?” Correction, we are all created by Aluahim, and thus Aluahim’s creation. But not all of us have His Ruach (Spirit) nor call upon His name and keep His commandments, and therefore are not adopted by YAHUAH and blessed with the title Aluahim’s children. When speaking to the Pharisees, Mashiach said, “If YAHUAH were your father, you would love me”. Later on He stated, “You are of your father the Devil” (John 8:42,44). See, there are two spirits working in the hearts and minds of people; Satan’s spirit, and YAHUAH’S Spirit. The apostle Paul says it plainly,
Ephesians 2:2: Wherein time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience.
This refers to those who disobey YAHUAH and live selfishly in the world. These are sons of men or daughters of men, also referred to as children of Satan. In the first letter to the Corinthians, Paul writes, “For who has known the mind of YAHUAH, that He may instruct him? But we have the mind of Mashiach” (1 Corinthians 2:16). The mind of Mashiach, refers to the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit) or Spirit of Aluahim that dwells in those who are obedient to Aluahim, and these are His children.
YAHUAH has always treasured those who love Him and keep His commandments. When speaking to Pharaoh, Moses was instructed by YAHUAH to say,
Exodus 4:22-23: Yasharal (Israel) is My son, even My firstborn: And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve Me: and if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay your son, even your firstborn.
The prophet Jeremiah writes,
Jeremiah 31:1, 9: At the same time, says YAHUAH, will I be the Aluahim of all the families of Yasharal, and they shall be My people. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Yasharal, and Ephraim is My firstborn.
And the word of YAHUAH came to David saying,
1 Chronicles 22:10: He (referring to Solomon) shall build a house for My name; and he shall be My son, and I will be his Father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Yasharal forever.
The same blessing that YAHUAH granted the Patriarchs and Prophets, is the same promise He gives us today. John writes the words of the Most-High,
Revelation 21:7: He that overcomes shall inherit all things: and I will be His Aluahim, and he shall be My son.
John also writes,
1 John 3:1: Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of Aluahim: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not.
Going back to Genesis 6, this is why Aluahim said, “My spirit shall not always strive with man”. It is because once YAHUAH’S obedient children started taking unbelievers as wives, He knew they would fall away from Him. They would eventually worship the idols and the Aluahim of their wives descendants. Even the wise king Solomon fell into this trap. This is why it was so important for Isaac to marry whom his father suggested. And where Jacob was to go to find a wife. Look what Aluahim says to all of Yasharal,
1 Kings 11:2: Of the nations concerning which YAHUAH said unto the children of Yasharal. You shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their deities: Solomon clave unto these in love.
The children of Yasharal were constantly disobeying this commandment. From the time they were brought into the wilderness all the way up to the time they were brought out of Babylon, they were taking wives from pagan lands (refer to Nehemiah 13:23-31). This same commandment has not changed. Worshippers of YAHUAH (children of Aluahim) are warned not to marry unbelievers (children of men) or to not be “unequally yoked together” as Paul puts it (refer to 2 Cor. 6:14-18). This can make it difficult for the believer to grow in Mashiach.
For more information on the two families or seeds; children of Aluahim and children of men or of the Devil, please read the article, The Body of Mashiach (Aluahim’s Church).
Nephilim
Back to Genesis 6. After the descendants of Seth (sons of Aluahim) took them wives from the descendants of Cain (daughters of men), there is a reference to Nephilim. We read from the King James Version Bible,
Genesis 6:4: There were giants (Nephilim) in the earth in those days; and also after that…
Verse 4 is simply telling us, that there were giants living on the earth during this specific time period. It does not at all imply that these are the descendants of fallen angels. I want to remind you that punctuations were not written in both the Tanakh (Old Testament) nor the Brit Chadashah (New Testament) Scriptures, but were introduced in the middle ages. See, verse 4 of Genesis chapter 6 should be divided into two verses. It should read as follows:
First part of verse 4: There were giants (Nephilim) in the earth in those days; and also after that.
Second part of verse 4: When the sons of Aluahim came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
The New International Version Bible (NIV) purposely allures the reader into thinking that Nephilim is a type of new species of men. I have underlined the words that easily confuse the reader into believing false doctrine. It reads:
Genesis 6:4 (NIV): The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of Aluahim sent to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
This version does not translate the Hebrew word Nephilim into giants, but rather leaves it and adds “the” in front of it to make it sound as if they are a new type of species. Next, they change “daughters of men” to “daughters of humans”. This undoubtedly makes it sound like some alien race or fallen angel had relations with humans. Then, to seal the deal, they take out the fact that it was mighty men that the daughters of men gave birth to. There are so many things wrong with this verse. It is clear why people believe in aliens, and supposed fallen angel and human cross breeding. Let’s break this apart.
So what does it mean when it says, “and also after that” or in the NIV, “and also afterward”? To get that answer we need to search the definition of the Hebrew word Nephilim.
Strong’s Concordance number 5303, Nephilim (nef-eel’): giants, name of two peoples, one before the flood and one after the flood. From the word naphal; properly, a feller, i.e. A bully of tyrant – giant.
See, this passage is simply telling us that there were giants in the earth during this time period before the flood, hence “in the earth in those days”. And that there were giants in the earth also after the flood, hence “and also after that”. Since YAHUAH only saved eight souls from the flood, these giants (Hebrew word Nephilim) that were in the earth after the flood were descendants of man, and not a cross breed.
There are no specific details mentioned in Scripture to how tall a giant stood before the flood, but since they also existed after the flood we can get an idea by reading about Goliath, and then later, about king Og. Samuel writes,
1 Samuel 17:4: And there went out a champion out of the camp of Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
Goliath’s height was roughly 10 feet tall or 305 centimeters. Compared to the average height of a middle eastern man at 5’6 (170 cm) to 6’ (183 cm) tall, Goliath would have seemed to be giant. Note, modern day fiction movies have made giants to be hundreds of feet tall. This type of programing has influenced our minds and when we read the Word of Aluahim we apply fiction and fantasy. But simply, the patriarchs of old, described giants as being extremely tall men.
Now let’s take a look at the false doctrine of the “sons of Aluahim” written by Moses in Genesis chapter 6, supposedly being fallen angels. As it is true that angels (properly translated as messengers) are also called sons of Aluahim (refer to Job 38:7, Luke 20:36), it is impossible for them to procreate. Yahushua tells us,
Mark 12:25: For when they shall rise from the dead (speaking of those who are resurrected unto life), they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.
This is just one of the beautiful ways man was created in Aluahim’s image, for we were granted the ability to create life. I’ve also heard people say, that these fallen angels took on human bodies or even took over human bodies in order to have intimate relations and make these so-called half breeds. Nowhere in Scripture does it tell us that an angel can transform himself into a man with reproductive organs. And although it is true that an evil spirit can take over a body, it does not mean that a demonized person will give birth to a cross breed. A demonized person gives birth to a baby human, and because of YAHUAH’S grace, that baby is born not inheriting the iniquity of their parents (refer to Ezekiel 18:20). Therefore, when that baby is born. it is not possessed with a demon. It does not mean by any means that that baby is now a new breed.
Later, we will discuss what a mighty man is. But first, let’s take a look at the other passage where the word Nephilim is used. Moses writes,
Numbers 13:30-33: And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Yasharal, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eats up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants (Nephilim), the sons of Anak, which come of the giants (Nephilim): and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
These giants (Nephilim in Hebrew) were descendants of men out of the land of Canaan. This is in the same area of Gath, where Goliath was from. It is highly likely that Goliath was a descendant of Anak known as the Anakims. As we hold all types of genes in our DNA, so did our first father Adam. Adam and Eve passed down the genes in order to give birth to all the ethnicities, shapes, and sizes of humans that are living in the earth today. These same genes were passed unto Noah and his three sons, and at some point, one of them became a father to extremely tall children.
When Aluahim’s children; Yasharal, discovered that there were extremely tall men living in the land of Canaan, they became afraid. All of the spies except Joshua and Caleb lost faith in the One true Aluahim that would fight for them. This is why they lied and said that the land was not what YAHUAH said it was to be, because they were in fear of going to battle against these extremely tall men or giants.
Take note, that the word Nephilim is not the only Hebrew word used to describe giants or extremely tall people. We can read in the book of Deuteronomy the word Rephaim to describe the giants in whom the Moabites called Emims or Emites.
Deuteronomy 2:10-11: The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims which also were accounted giants (Rephaim), as the Anakims; but the Moabites call them Emims.
This word used for giants by the Moabites, is Strong’s Concordance number 7497, Rapha: giant, inhabitants of an area East of the Jordan. The Hebrew word Raphaim is used 25 times in the Tanakh (Old Testament Scriptures). It is used more often than the Hebrew word Nephilim, and describes the same tribe of people (Anakims), which were extremely tall men of great stature. For example,
Deuteronomy 3:11: For only Og king of Bashan (east of the Jordan) remained of the remnant of giants (Rephaim); behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? Nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.
Og, king of Bashan, had a bed that was 13.5 ft (4.1 meters) long, and 6 ft (1.8 meters) wide. This would put him around a similar height that of Goliath.
Today, archeologists have discovered skeletons of people ranging between the height of 8-15 feet or 2.4-4.5 meters tall. When studying these giants (extremely tall people) they found they shared a common blood type (type O blood), and a supposed overactive pituitary gland (or perhaps we have the under active pituitary gland and theirs were working the way it was intended). Once again, giants are not hundreds of feet tall, but rather just extremely tall people.
Mighty Men
Remember, I broke Genesis chapter 6 verse 4 into two separate verses. Now let’s read the second part of this verse once again.
Second part of Genesis 6:4: When the sons of Aluahim came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
When read correctly and without the influence of an indoctrinated mind, this passage is simply telling us that when obedient servants of Aluahim (sons of Aluahim) intermarried with unbelievers (daughters of men), they bore children. These same children became what is called a mighty man. Let’s take a look at what a mighty man is.
The word Mighty man is Strong’s Concordance number 1368, gibbor (ghib-bore’): strong, mighty, champion, chief, excel, strong man.
The word mighty man can be found throughout all the Tanakh (Old Testament Scriptures). This type of man is generally referred to as a warrior; one whom is skilled in the art of war, and is well-known (or renown) for his aptitude in warfare. When we turn to the writings of the prophet Samuel, we can read the story of two well-known mighty men; Jephthah and David.
Jephthah was a mighty man, and was well-known for his skill in the art of war. This is why the elders of Yasharal sought him out from the land of Tob to ask him to become their captain in fighting against the Ammonites (refer to Judges 11:1-6). We read,
Judges 11:1: Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a might man of valour (gibbor), and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah.
David was also referred to as a mighty man; a man of war. We read,
1 Samuel 16:18: Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Beth-lehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man (gibbor), and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and YAHUAH is with him.
Yasharal’s army was full of mighty men. We read in the book of Kings,
2 Kings 24:16: And all the men of might (gibbor), even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
When speaking about Aluahim Almighty, Isaiah uses the metaphor of a mighty man; a skilled man of war,
Isaiah 42:13: YAHUAH shall go forth as a mighty man (gibbor), He shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: He shall cry, yea, roar; He shall prevail against His enemies.
When believers first started intermingling with unbelievers and they had children, war began to break out between the families. Isaiah said, “stir up jealousy like a man of war.” The same word jealousy can be translated into the word zeal. These children were zealous, and driven to pursue land, material, women, and earthly treasures, which led them to making war with all whom opposed them. They were raised without the direction of YAHUAH, and therefore lived after the desires of the flesh.
The same can be said about unbelievers today. Those who grow up without the influence of Mashiach in their lives become misdirected, lost, and chase after the riches of this world. Many of them will stir up war against their fellow neighbor in order to obtain more materialism. These zealous people are power hungry, money driven, and will do anything to obtain worldly status, including selling their soul to the Devil.
Aluahim is Grieved
Now let’s read the rest of the passage in Genesis chapter 6,
Genesis 6:5-7: And Aluahim saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And YAHUAH was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him in His heart. And YAHUAH said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for I am sorry that I have made them.
Because the sons of Aluahim intermarried with the daughters of men religious fornication became prominent. Almost all of the inhabitants of the earth either forgot about their Creator or purposely rebelled against His commandments in order to fulfill their own selfish desires. The descendants of Seth became idol worshipers who worshipped the creation or creature rather than the Creator. The inhabitants of the earth became adulterers, murderers, thieves, liars, and as Moses puts it, “every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually”. The once called sons of Aluahim were no different than the unbelieving sons and daughters of men.
The only family in the entire world that still obeyed YAHUAH at this time was Noah’s family. This included Methuselah, his son Lamech, his grandson Noah and Noah’s wife and three sons. Noah’s father Lamech died five years before the flood, so for five short years there was only Noah and his household of eight throughout the entire world, whom obeyed and served the One and only True Aluahim. The rest of the inhabitants were evil, and this is why YAHUAH was grieved in His heart that He created man. After all that Aluahim did for man; all the mercy, all the forgiveness, and all of the provisions, man still ended up turning away from the One who created and breathed life into them. He gave man over 1,600 years to repent of their evil ways, and turn back to Him. But they continued in the path of unrighteousness.
YAHUAH always sends messengers to preach the gospel; to repent, turn back to YAHUAH, and keep His commandments. He first sent Enoch to prepare the way for Noah. For three hundred years Enoch traveled from one end of the earth to the other, preaching the everlasting gospel, but nobody listened nor believed. The apostle Jude writes,
Jude 1:14-15: And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, YAHUAH cometh with ten-thousands of His saints, To execute judgement upon all, and to convince all who are wicked among them which they have done profanely, and concerning all the harsh things that the impious sinners have spoken against Him.
Look how the Apostle Peter puts it in his First Epistle,
1 Peter 4:6: For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to Aluahim in the Spirit.
And then in his Second Epistle, Peter further writes,
2 Peter 2:5: And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of those without Aluahim.
Peter is telling us that the very same gospel that Mashiach preached was also preached by all the prophets and patriarchs of old. Paul writes, “In hope of eternal life, which Aluahim, that cannot lie, promised before the world began” (Titus 1:2). The everlasting gospel has always been the same, “Look unto Me, and be you saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am YAHUAH, and there is none else” (Isaiah 45:22).
After Enoch, YAHUAH sent Noah to warn the inhabitants of the earth to turn back to Him or else they would all be destroyed by a flood. Once again, nobody listened nor believed. They continued to live in disobedience to their Creator and so they were all destroyed by water.
The same will happen when the remnant of Yasharal and the 144,000 begin to prophesy of the coming destruction of mankind and the return of Mashiach. Most people will choose to live a selfish life of sin and will therefore be destroyed by plague, war, famine, and fire. There are only a few that will keep the commandments of YAHUAH Aluahim and the Testimony of Yahushua HaMashiach.
Summary
We have now answered all five questions pertaining to the passage in Genesis 6:1-7.
Question 1: Who are the sons of Aluahim?
Answer 1: Anyone who obeys Aluahim; keeps His commandments and His Testimony.
Question 2: Who are the daughters (or sons) of men?
Answer 2: Anyone who disobeys Aluahim: Does not keep His commandments and His Testimony.
Question 3: What is a Nephilim?
Answer 3: It is simply a Hebrew word used to describe an extremely tall man.
Question 4: What is a mighty man?
Answer 4: A skilled warrior.
Question 5: Why does Aluahim want to destroy every living creature on earth?
Answer 5: Because He is saddened that they have forgotten Him. After all, He is the Creator of heaven, earth, the seas, and everything in them. And it does not please Him to destroy man, “As I live, says YAHUAH, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live” (Ezekiel 33:11).
Unfortunately, man has once again forgotten his Creator. Instead of following the lamb wherever he goes (refer to Revelation 14:4), the world tells us to, “follow your heart”. Jeremiah tells us that, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). This is how Paul describes the inhabitant of the earth right before Mashiach returns,
2 Timothy 3:1-5: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of Aluahim; having a form of piety, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
The story of Noah’s flood is not much different than the story of today. Instead of roughly 1,600 years, Aluahim has patiently worked in the hearts of man for over 4,000 years (as it’s been roughly 4,000 years since the flood). He continuously becomes disappointed in our selfishness, vanity, and disobedience. He has sent prophet after prophet, and messenger after messenger, including His own Son, but the inhabitants of the world have become no different than that of old. Aluahim has become grieved in his heart that He created man, and soon He will once again destroy every single soul who does not keep His commandments and the Testimony of Yahushua HaMashiach. Our master and king reminds us,
Matthew 24:37-39: But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the son of man be.
