Babylon The Great, an Ancient Trinitarian Religion
The Trinity is both the most important and longest lasting biblical debates amongst Christians, and in fact it is the first debate within the pagan organized religion of Christianity; The Roman Catholic Church. A Wikipedia search on the Trinity doctrine says this:
The Christian doctrine of the Trinity defines one God [Aluah] existing in three coequal, coeternal, consubstantial, divine persons: God the father, God the son (Jesus Christ), and God the holy spirit, three distinct persons sharing one or the same essence. In this context, the three persons define who God is, while the one essence defines what God is. Below is a basic diagram:
This article is not going to discuss whether or not YAHUAH Aluahim is a trinity or not. For anyone who is reading this article must already know and accept that YAHUAH Aluahim is One (refer to Deuteronomy 6:4). This article is meant to uncover that the religion of Christianity (including and not limited to; Catholicism, all Protestantism, Baptists, Methodists, Latter-day Saints, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh-day Adventist, etc.) is a false religion made up of pagan philosophies, traditions, and practices. And that the Law (Torah) of YAHUAH has been completely made void.
The Christian Trinity was originally conceived in both Greek and Platonic philosophy, as was the majority of Christian dogma. The Platonic term trias, meaning three, was Latinized as trinitas, which gave us the English word trinity. Platonism is the philosophy of Plato (428 – 348 BC), which holds belief in duality, multiple dimensions, and the existence of abstract objects. As we further study, we will come to learn that much of Plato’s philosophies helped shape the pagan religion of Christianity. One example is, Plato argued that one’s physical body and soul are separate entities, and that the soul lives on after the body dies. This concept along with the Trinity doctrine does not align with biblical teaching but rather has ancient pagan origins that were adopted by the church as early as the 1st Century. John McClinton and James Strong (Author of Strong’s Concordance) writes,
“Towards the end of the 1st Century, and during the 2nd, many learned men came over both from Judaism and paganism to Christianity. These brought with them into the Christian schools of theology their Platonic ideas and phraseology.”
– John McClintock and James Strong (Cyclopaedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature, 1891, Vol. 10, “Trinity”, p. 553)
And Hubert Jedin in Ecumenical Councils of the Catholic Church, writes,
“The Alexandria catechetical school, which revered Clement of Alexandria and Origen, the greatest theologian of the Greek Church, as its heads, applied the allegorical method to the explanation of Scripture. Its thought was influenced by Plato: its strong point was [pagan] theological speculations. Athanasius and the three Cappadocians [the men whose Trinitarian views were adopted by the Catholic Church at the Councils of Nicaea and Constantinople] had been included among its members.”
– (Hubert Jedin, Ecumenical Councils of the Catholic Church: an Historical Outline, 1960, p. 28)
Much of the early church’s doctrines were established by theologians such as Tertullian, Origen, Athanasius of Alexandria, Gregory of Nyssa, Jerome, Augustine of Hippo, and along with countless others who, studied and practiced Neoplatonism, Hellenism, and occultism. About this philosophy, Professor Timothy B. Shutt, who holds a PhD in medieval literature, says,
“The person who succeeded, at last, in formulating a vision, which made use – In pretty much equal measure – of Plato and Aristotle, and unified their vision into a coherent wider system, was […] Plotinus, who was from Egypt and moved to Rome, and lived in the second century CE. His legacy was called Neoplatonism, and it represented the final philosophy synthesis of antiquity. […] It was taken over […] by Christian theologians – St. Augustine prominent among them – and went on to become the default philosophy of the middle ages in Christian guise.”
– Professor Timothy B. Shutt
This pagan philosophy (Neoplatonism) reaches as far back as Ancient Egypt. The author Albert G. Mackey writes,
“Hermes Trismegistus of the Thrice Great, who was a celebrated Egyptian legislator, priest, and philosopher, who lived in the reign of Ninus…this mysthical Egyptian philosopher was in fact considered as the inventor of everything known to the human intellect. It was fabled that Pythagoras and Plato had derived their knowledge from him, and that he had recorded inventions on pillars.”
– Albert G. Mackey, “Hermes,” Encyclopedia Of Freemasonry And It’s Kindred Sciences, Vol 2, 295.
As we can clearly see, pagan philosophies such as Neoplatonism which derived from ancient Egypt, indeed, shaped what we today call Christianity. From the beginning of her conception, Babylon the great had already fallen. YAHUAH has allowed Christianity to become what it is today, because many of His people have used this religion as a stepping stool in order to eventually find the One True Aluahim. Our brother John gives us the warning,
Revelation 18:4: … Come out of her My people!
Trinitarianism is not the only ancient occult doctrine that Rome spread throughout the entire world. And as we further study, we will uncover ample evidence that shows the Trinity doctrine is neither Biblical nor a newer concept to describe a deity. But first, let’s take a quick look at how the Trinity doctrine became cannon law.
Council of Nicaea
The Trinity was introduced into the church by Tertullian (AD 160-225) who was a pagan turned Catholic theologian, and one of the early church fathers who wrote in the early 3rd Century to define the teaching concerning the Divinity of the Christian deity. His conclusion was that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit were one substance, but not one in person.
About a century after Tertullian, the Trinity doctrine was once again brought in debate due to the rise of Arianism. This controversy began with a priest by the name of Arius (250 or 256-336 AD). Arius’ belief about the relationship between Aluahim; the Father, and the Son, sparked debate amongst the newly established Christian Roman Empire. Arius spoke Koine Greek, and had access to the Koine Greek New Testament Scriptures (Brit Chadashah). Through his studies, he arrived at the conclusion that:
“There is one God [Aluahim), the Father Almighty, and in His Son the Lord Jesus Christ [whose name is Yahushua], who proceeded from Him before all ages, being Aluahim the Word, by whom all things were made.”
– Arius (Ecclesiastical History of Sozomen. B. II. C. 27.)
This belief became known as Arianism, and very soon caught the attention of both the pope and the emperor. Roman Emperor Constantine – a pagan sun worshiper who evidently turned Catholic on his death bed, wanted to resolve this controversy in order to bring unity within his empire. So, in May of AD 325 the Roman Catholic church held the first ecumenical council to attain consensus in the church through an assembly representing all Christendom. This was called the Council of Nicaea, and it was convened by emperor Constantine the Great. The main purpose of this meeting, was to decide whether or not the Aluahim of the Bible was triune.
The main opposer to Arius, was a deacon by the name of Athanasius. Athanasius (AD 296-298) was a deacon from Alexandria, who later went on to become the 20th pope of Alexandria (as Athanasius I). His view was an early form of Trinitarianism that was highly influenced by the Greek philosopher and theologian, Origen. Theologian Benjamin G. Wilkinson writes,
“He [Origen] taught that the soul existed from eternity before it inhabited the body, and that after death, it migrated to a higher of lower form of life according to the deeds done in the body, and finally all would return to the state of pure intelligence, only to begin again the same cycle as before. He believed that the devils would be saved, and that the stars and planets had souls, and were, like men, on trial to learn perfection. In fact, he turned the whole law and Gospel in an allegory.”
– (B G Wilkinson, Our Authorized Bible Vindicated Chapter 1)
Origen of Alexandria (A.D. 185-253), is widely regarded as one of the most influential Christian theologians. He reinterpreted Christian doctrine through philosophy of Neoplatonism. Author John M. Riddle writes,
“A Christian from Alexandria, Origen attended lectures given by […] a founder of Neoplatonism. Of all the pagan philosophies, Neoplatonism held the most appeal for Christians: its theory of the divine as a threefold emanation from the absolute – Plato’s universal. Origen’s theory of emanation, derived from Plato, provided imagery that could help explain how the Father, Son, and Spirit could be one in three persons. Unlike Origen, Plotinus believed in no established religion; his word is often quoted as the best source of information on Neoplatonism outside Christianity. And thus Neoplatonism had a great influence on Christian mysticism, as well as on Christian theology in general.”
– (A History of the Middle Ages, 300 to 1500, John M. Riddle)
Origen taught the doctrine of purgatory, transubstantiation, transmigration and reincarnation of the soul, that the Messiah was a created being, that there would be no physical resurrection, and the creation account in Genesis is a fictitious story. Most of these false doctrines were eventually incorporated into the early Christian church, but completely oppose the teachings of the Bible.
Now, back to the Council of Nicaea. The Council of Nicaea lasted about two months. Much of the church clergy were swayed towards Arius’ teachings, but Constantine approved the view of Athanasius to quickly end the debate. He was hoping that this conclusion would bring unity in the church and peace in his Empire, but it ended up dividing the church while bringing multiple tribal wars within the Empire. The Encyclopedia Britannica states:
“Constantine himself presided, actively guiding the discussion, and personally proposed … the crucial formula expressing the relation of Christ [Messiah] to God [Aluahim] in the creed issued by the council … Overawed by the emperor, the bishops, with two exceptions only, signed the creed, many of them much against their inclination.”
– (1971 edition, Vol. 6, “Constantine,” p. 386)
After the Council of Nicaea voted against Arianism, every Arian Christian (including Arius and Eusebius) were deemed heretics. Some of the Arian clergy were exiled, and cut off from the Eucharist – the Catholic ceremony commemorating Last Supper. Take a strong note that, the Eucharist is not the proper way to partake of Yahushua’S evening meal. For more information on the correct manner to perform Communion, please read the article Communion; what it is and How to Perform it.
Most of Arius’ books were burned, and Constantine implemented a death penalty for anyone who kept Arius’ books in their possession. This made it even easier to rewrite Arius’ teachings, and spread lies about his belief. To this day, Arius’ name has been tarnished, and his belief misconstrued. For example, they will tell you that Arius believed that Yahushua was created, but that is far from the truth. Philip van Limborch in The History of the Inquisition tells us,
“And yet notwithstanding all these things, when Alexander gives an account of the principles of Arius to the bishops, he represents them in all the consequences he thought fit to draw from them, and charges him [Arius] with holding, that the Son was made like every other creature absolutely out of nothing, and that therefore his nature was mutable; and susceptive equally of virtue and vice; with many other insidious and unscriptural doctrine, which Arius plainly appears not to have maintained or taught.”
– Philip van Limborch, The History of the Inquisition (1731), p. 25
The same author confirms Arius’ belief by stating,
“His affirming therefore that the Son had a beginning, was only saying, that he was in the whole of His existence from the Father, as the Origin and Fountain of his Being and Deity, and not any denial of his being from before all Times and Ages… or his being completely God [Aluahim] himself, or his being produced after a more excellent manner than the creatures…”
– Philipp van Limborch, The History of the Inquisition (1731), p. 24
After Arius’ death, Arianism continued to rapidly spread throughout the Roman Empire. The ongoing disputes were violent and bloody at times. Noted historian Will Durant writes,
“Probably more Christians were slaughtered by Christians in these two years (342-3) than by all the persecutors of Christians by pagans in the history of Rome.”
– (The Story of Civilization, Vol. 4: The Age of Faith, 1950, p. 8)
A dictator cannot have opposition, and therefore in order for the Pontiff of Rome to assume supreme power, all the Arian tribes within the Roman Empire had to be annihilated. Both history and prophecy tells us that three Western Roman Empire tribes (all Arian) were “plucked up” (as Daniel 7:8 puts it), or completely destroyed by A.D. 538 in order for the papacy to gain complete control over both the church and the state.
Ever since A.D. 325, Trinitarianism has been a core doctrine taught within the Roman Catholic church. In the 5th Century, the Western Roman Catholic church composed a 40-verse Christian profession of faith concerning both the Trinity and the Incarnation. Named after Athanasius, The Athanasian Creed is a refined version of the Nicene formula. Let’s read a segment of this creed, that states:
Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic faith; which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled, without doubt he shall perish everlastingly. And the catholic faith is this: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; Neither confounding the persons nor dividing the substance. For there is one person of the Father, another of the Son, and another of the Holy Spirit.
– The Athanasian Creed
The Athanasian Creed is regarded as authoritative in the Roman Catholic and some Protestant churches. The majority of Protestants teach the Trinity doctrine, along with many other Roman Catholic dogmas. This is because Protestantism was born out of Roman Catholicism. It is simply a reformed version of Roman Catholicism (hence the Reformation), and therefore holds the Catholic faith – Trinitarianism. The Roman Catholic church has stated that she is the “mother of all churches”, so it should be of no surprise that her daughter (Protestantism) teaches the same core doctrines. She (the R.C.C.) is quoted saying,
“The Vatican has decreed that the Catholic Church is the ‘Mother of all churches’”.
– The Independent, September of 2000
“It must be clear that the one, holy, catholic and apostolic universal church is not the sister, but the mother of all the churches.”
-Cardinal Ratzinger 9/04/2000.
And, as the prophets writes,
Ezekiel 16:44: Behold, every one that uses proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.
Protestantism and Roman Catholicism make up what we today call Christianity. They are both one and the same, for they share the very same core doctrines. The Roman Catholic church has even stated that the pagan doctrine of the Trinity is not biblical. She says,
“Our opponents sometimes claim that no belief should be held dogmatically which is not explicitly stated in scripture … But the Protestant Churches have themselves accepted such dogmas, as the Trinity, for which there is no such precise authority in the Gospels.”
– (Assumption of Mary, Life Magazine, Oct 30, 1950, p. 51)
There are few today that dare to question the doctrine of the Trinity. Most of Christendom accepts this ancient pagan concept as Biblical truth, and while doing so, ignore the simple yet straight forward verses that contradict this teaching. The Christian argument of the One True Aluahim started by Arius in the 4th Century has yet to end. Although Arius’s views were skewed (being a part of the RCC), he brought up a very important topic for Bible believers to discuss. The Trinity doctrine is not what the Prophets of old nor what the Mashiach and his Disciples taught. And to take it even further, the religion of Christianity is a counterfeit religion set up by the Adversary to stray people away from the One True Aluahim; YAHUAH our heavenly Father. But we will shortly see, that Babylon the Great is made up of much more than just Christianity.
Ancient Trinitarianism
The Trinity is not a new concept nor just a supposed “Christian” doctrine, but nearly every pagan nation of antiquity practiced and believed in a Trinitarian concept. In his book The Two Babylons, Alexander Hislop writes,
“Will anyone after this say that the Roman Catholic Church must still be called Christian because it holds the doctrine of the Trinity? So did the pagan Babylonians, so did the Egyptians, so do the Hindoos at this hour, in the very sense in which Rome does”
– (The Two Babylons by Alexander Hislop)
This pagan doctrine of the trinity reaches as far back as ancient Egypt, and with the first Anti-Mashiach mentioned in the Bible, Cain. The Egyptian Trinity consisted of: the father Osiris, the mother Isis, and the son Horus, but this is not the only Trinity recorded in Egyptian history. We read,
“The Hymn to Amun decreed that ‘No god came into being before him (Amun)’ and that ‘All gods are three: Amun, Re and Ptah, and there is no second to them. Hidden is his name Amon, he is Re in face, and his body is Ptah.’ …This is statement of trinity, the three chief gods of Egypt subsumed into one of them, Amon. Clearly, the concept of organic unity within plurality got an extraordinary boost with this formulation. Theologically, in a crude form it came strikingly close to the later Christian form of plural Trinitarian monotheism”
– (Simson Najovits, Egypt, Trunk of the Tree, Vol. 2, 2004, pp. 83-84)
The Trinity in Hinduism is: Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer. We read,
“The Puranas, one of the Hindoo Bibles of more than 3,000 years ago, contain the following passage: ‘O ye three Lords! know that I recognize only one God. Inform me, therefore, which of you is the true divinity, that I may address to him alone my adorations.’ The three gods, Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva [or Shiva], becoming manifest to him, replied, ‘Learn, O devotee, that there is no real distinction between us. What to you appears such is only the semblance. The single being appears under three forms by the acts of creation, preservation, and destruction, but he is one.’
“Hence the triangle was adopted by all the ancient nations as a symbol of the Deity . . . Three was considered among all the pagan nations as the chief of the mystical numbers, because, as Aristotle remarks, it contains within itself a beginning, a middle, and an end. Hence we find it designating some of the attributes of almost all the pagan gods”
(Marie Sinclair, Old Truths in a New Light, pp. 382-383).
Ancient Babylon also believed in a Trinity. We read,
“The ancient Babylonians recognized the doctrine of a trinity, or three persons in one god—as appears from a composite god with three heads forming part of their mythology, and the use of the equilateral triangle, also, as an emblem of such trinity in unity”
– (Thomas Dennis Rock, The Mystical Woman and the Cities of the Nations, 1867, pp. 22-23).
The Trinity in Macedonia Greece is: Zeus, Poseidon, and Adonis. We read,
“In the Fourth Century B.C. Aristotle wrote: ‘All things are three, and thrice is all: and let us use this number in the worship of the gods; for, as the Pythagoreans say, everything and all things are bounded by threes, for the end, the middle and the beginning have this number in everything, and these compose the number of the Trinity'”
– (Arthur Weigall, Paganism in Our Christianity, 1928, pp. 197-198).
And lastly, Rome. Before emperor Constantine turned the empire into a “Christian” empire, Rome’s Trinity was and still is (under the guise of Christianity): Jupiter, Neptune, and Pluto.
The now Roman Catholic church is no different than all the other pagan empires before it. Veiled behind precious statues, shiny gold furniture, and the captivating ceremonial worship services, are the very same ancient occult practices. This is why she is called, “Mystery Babylon the Great” (Revelation 17:5). Vatican city has numerous statues and paintings of pagan deities. Some are disguised as supposed saints, and while others are straight forward. They do not hide the truth from us. The ancient pagan doctrines and practices are all wrapped up in a new form of Christian Trinitarianism, and sold to the poor indoctrinated soul deeply in need of Mashiach.
Paul warned Rome two-thousand years ago, and it applies very much to us today. He writes,
Romans 13:11: And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Study For Yourself
This ancient pagan belief of the Trinity, does not match up with the Testimony of whom both YAHUAH and His son is. The Prophet reminds us,
Isaiah 8:20: To the Law (Torah) and to the Testimony: if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them.
Some Christians believe that it is not important to completely understand whether or not the Aluahim of the Bible is triune or not or even if the Mashiach is considered to be Aluahim or not, and therefore choose not to study this topic more deeply. But, understanding that YAHUAH Aluahim is One and not two or three has everything to do with our salvation. If we choose not to educate ourselves on this topic, and just go along with what all of the Christian churches teach concerning the divinity of Mashiach, then we will ultimately be led to our eternal destruction. We are warned,
Hosea 4:6: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to Me: seeing you have forgotten the Torah (Law) of your Aluahim, I will also forget your children.
If Aluahim’s people are told to come out of Babylon (refer to Revelation 18:4) and He further tells us that His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, then it is obvious that Babylon the Great is teaching lies concerning the One True Aluahim.
The knowledge of the One True Aluahim is solely the most important concept to understand. This core doctrine is life or death. In fact, this doctrine of the One True Aluahim encompasses both the Law and the Testimony. Yahushua tells us,
Mark 12:29: …The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Yasharal; YAHUAH our Aluahim is ONE Aluahim.
This knowledge will either lead us to worshipping our Creator – the One whom has power to give or take life, or worshipping the Adversary – the one whom opposes our Creator. There are not multiple religions in the world as the Adversary will lead us to believe. There are only two religions from the very beginning of man’s creation:
- the religion of the Aluahim of the Bible (our Creator)
- the religion of Satan (which is any doctrine or religion that opposes the One True Aluahim of the Bible)
Yahushua plainly tells us,
Matthew 12:30: he that is not with me is against me.
This is why it is important for every follower of Mashiach to study the Word of Aluahim daily. Not read, but study the Bible, “line upon line and precept upon precept” (Isaiah 28:10). And contrary to popular belief, the Bible will provide a well-rounded education in the subjects of history, science, and spirituality. We are told to,
1 Thessalonians 5:21: Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
For a deeper study on the One True Aluahim, please read the book, Who Is The Messiah?
The Trinity Added
There are two main verses in the Bible that Trinitarians use to back up their belief of three separate divine beings. Let us jump right in and read those two passages now:
Matthew 28:19-20: Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
1 John 5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one.
We will soon discover that these two Scriptures were heavily tampered with. Let’s begin with the first verse, Matthew 28:19.
In The Name Of
Interestingly, there is not one example in Scripture where someone was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Acts of the Apostles give us multiple examples of whom we are baptized into.
Example 1: After hearing the gospel of Yahushua, a group of devout Jews in Yarushalam were convicted in their hearts, they then asked Peter and the other disciples what the next step was. “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name Yahushua HaMashiach for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodash)” (Acts 2:38).
Example 2: The Apostle Peter preached the Gospel of Mashiach unto a group of both Yahudim and Gentiles in Caesarea, and as soon as the Gentiles heard the message they believed and were filled with The Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodash). Peter, along with the Yahudim were astonished. Peter then, “commanded them to be baptized in the name Yahushua HaMashiach” (Acts 10:48).
Example 3: The Apostle Paul was preaching the gospel of Yahushua in Corinth to a group of people whom were previously baptized by John the Baptist. “When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Master Yahushua” (Acts 19:5).
Example 4: The Apostle Phillip preached the gospel of Yahushua to a certain eunuch of Ethiopia whom was on his way to Yarushalam to worship. “And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, if you believe with all your heart, you may. And he answered and said, I believe that Yahushua HaMashiach is the Son of Aluahim” (Acts 8:36-37).
Example 5: When Paul was on the verge of being killed by a group of Yahudim, he asked the chief captain to allow himself to stand before the people and give his testimony of conversion. He spoke to them in the Hebrew tongue about the time when Mashiach appeared unto him. When he was led to Damascus, he met a follower of Mashiach, Ananias. This man told Paul, “arise, and be baptized in the name of Yahushua” (Acts 22:16).
Example 6: Acts 8:12: But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the Kingdom of Aluahim, and the name of Yahushua HaMashiach, they were baptized, both men and women.
Example 7: Acts 8:16: For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Master Yahushua.
Example 8: Romans 6:3: Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Yahushua HaMashiach were baptized into His death?
Example 9: Galatians 3:27: For as many of you as have been baptized into Mashiach have put on Mashiach.
We must ask the question, why is it that the Apostles deliberately disobeyed their Master if they were supposedly commanded to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? Interestingly, every devout follower of Mashiach was baptized in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach (the one the world wrongfully calls Jesus Christ) all the way through the 3rd Century.
The trinitarian method of baptism was not used by the true followers of the Mashiach. It was Rome (the Catholic Church) that made it tradition to baptize someone into a Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There are multiple sources that back the claim that the RCC changed the baptism formula along with the original doctrine taught by the Mashiach.
In the Catholic Catechism, we read the following paragraph:
“Into Christ. The Bible tells us that Christians were baptized into Christ. (no. 6) They belong to Christ. The Acts of the Apostles (2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5) tells us of baptizing “in the name (person) of Jesus [Yahushua is His name].” – a better translation would be “into the name (person) of Jesus [Yahushua].” Only in the 4th Century did the formula “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” become customary.”
– (Bible Catechism, Rev. John C Kersten, S.V.D., Catholic Book Publishing Co., N.Y., N.Y.; 1973, p. 164)
And in the Encyclopaedia Britannica 11 Edition Volume 3 pg. 365-366, we read,
“The Baptismal Formula.-The trinitarian formula and trine immersion were not uniformly used from the beginning, nor did they always go together. The Teaching of the Apostles, indeed [rather presumptuously], prescribes baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, but on the next page speaks of those who have been baptized into the name of the Lord-the normal formula of the New Testament. In the 3rd century baptism in the name of Christ was still so widespread that Pope Stephen, in opposition to Cyprian of Carthage, declared it to be valid. From Pope Zachariah (Ep. x.) we learn that the Celtic missionaries in baptizing omitted one or more persons of the Trinity, and this was one of the reasons why the church of Rome anathematized them [referring to the three titles]; Pope Nicholas, however (858-867), in the Responsa ad consulta Bulgarorum, allowed baptism to be valid tantum in nomine Christi, as in the Acts. Basil, in his work On the Holy Spirit just mentioned, condemns “baptism into the Lord alone ” as insufficient. Baptism ” into the death of Christ” is often specified by the Armenian fathers as that which alone was essential.”
– Encyclopedia Britannica 11 Edition Volume 3 pg. 365-366
The Catholic Encyclopedia, Vol. 8 informs us that it was Justin Martyr, an early Roman Catholic Church Apologist and Philosopher, who helped change the baptism formula from “in the name of Christ” to the titles of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And after reading pages 263-265 in the Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913 edition, we find more evidence that it was indeed Rome (RCC) that made the triune baptism formula a tradition.
The Testimony of Mashiach (the Bible) does not ever lead the reader into believing in three separate co-eternal persons. This corrupted verse (Matthew. 28:19) does not match the Acts of the Apostles, nor does is match the rest of the Scriptures. This is because Matthew 28:19 was changed by the Roman Catholic church to better serve their belief in the pagan Trinity doctrine, and most theologians will agree to this change. The baptism triune formula along with the triune doctrine was incorporated into the Messiah’s teachings which brought about a new universal religion invented by Rome. In his book, Introduction to Christianity, Catholic Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (pope Benedict XVI) writes,
“The basic form of our profession of faith [referring to Catholicism] took shape during the course of the second and third centuries in connection with the ceremony of baptism [the triune formula]. So far as its place of origin is concerned, the text [possibly referring to Matthew 28:19] came from the city of Rome.”
– Catholic Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (pope Benedict XVI) Introduction to Christianity
Unfortunately, we have no known manuscripts that were written in the first, second, or third centuries. Although, we do have a first-hand witness showing that this verse was changed. Eusebius (AD 260 – 340) was the Bishop of Caesarea, and is known as “the Father of Church History.” Although he wrote prolifically, his most celebrated work is his Ecclesiastical History, a history of the church from the Apostolic period until his own time. Today it is still the principal work on the history of the church at that time. Eusebius quotes many verses in his writings, and Matthew 28:19 is one of them. He never quotes it as it appears today in modern Bibles, but always finishes the verse with the words “in My Name”. Below, are excerpts from various writings by Eusebius. We read,
“But while the disciples of Jesus [Yahushua] were most likely either saying thus, or thing thus, the Master solved their difficulties, by the addition of one phrase, saying they should triumph “In MY NAME.” And the power of His name being so great, that the apostle says: “God [Aluahim] has given Him a name which is above every name, that in the name of Jesus [Yahushua] every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” He shewed the virtue of the power in His Name concealed from the crowd when He said to His disciples: “Go, and make disciples of all the nations in My Name.” He also most accurately forecasts the future when He says: “for this gospel must first be preached to all the world, for a witness to all nations.”
– (Proof of the Gospel by Eusebius, Book III, ch 7, 136 (a-d), p 157)
“Who said to them; “make disciples of all the nations in My Name.”
– (Eusebius, Proof of the Gospel, Book III ch 7, 138 (c), p. 159)
“What king or prince in any age of the world, what philosopher, legislator of prophet, in civilized or barbarous lands, has attained so great a height of excellence, I say not after death, but while living still, and full of mighty power, as to fill the ears and tongues of all mankind with the praises of his name? Surely none save our only Savior has done this, when, after His victory over death, He spoke the word to his followers, and fulfilled it by the event, saying to them, “Go ye and make disciples of all nations in My name.”
– (Oration in Praise of Emperor Constantine, Chapter 16, Section 8)
Countless theologians and Bible translators will agree to the fact that the word “baptism” was also added. We read from Word Biblical Commentary,
“The disciples are further told to ‘baptize’ (the second of the participles functioning as supplementary imperatives) new disciples. The command to baptize comes as somewhat of a surprise since baptism is referred to earlier only in chap. 3 (and 21:25) where only John’s baptism is described (among the Gospels only in John 3:22; 4:1-2 do we read of Jesus [Yahushua] or his disciples baptizing others). Matthew tells us nothing concerning his view of Christian baptism. Only Matthew records this command of Jesus [Yahushua], but the practice of the early church suggest its historicity. (cf. Acts 2:38, 41; 8:12, 38; 9:18; 10:48; 19:5; 22:16; etc.) The threefold name (at most only in incipient Trinitarianism) in which the baptism was to be performed, on the other hand, seems clearly to be a liturgical expansion of the evangelist consonant with the practice of his day (thus Hubbard; cf. Did. 7.1). There is a good possibility that in its original form, the text read “make disciples in My name” (see Conybeare). This shorter reading preserves the symmetrical rhythm of the passage, whereas the triadic formula fits awkwardly into the structure as one might expect if it were an interpolation. …It is Kosmala, however, who has argued most effectively for the shorter reading, pointing to the central importance of “name of Jesus [Yahushua]” in early Christian preaching, the practice of baptism in the name of Jesus [Yahushua], and the singular “in his name” with reference to the hope of the Gentiles in Isaiah 42:4b, quoted by Matthew in 12:18-21. As Carson rightly notes of our passage: “There is no evidence we have Jesus’ ipsissima verba here” (598). The narrative of Acts notes the use of the name only of “Jesus Christ” [Yahushua HaMashiach] in baptism (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5 cf. Rom. 6:3; Gal. 3:27) or simply “the Lord Jesus [Master Yahushua HaMashiach” (Acts 8:16; 19:5).”
– Word Biblical Commentary, Vol 33B, …Donald A. Hagner, 1975, page 887-888
There are countless quotes referring to the change of this verse, but if you are not convinced, then I suggest to research this topic for yourself. In Proof of the Gospel by Eusebius, Book III, ch 6, 132 (a), p 152, he informs us of the actual words Yahushua spoke to His disciples in Matthew 28:19:
Original Matthew 28:19: With one word and voice He said to His disciples: “Go, and make disciples of all nations in my name, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.
Based on this conclusion, let’s look at a couple verses. Which one of these renderings by Paul seems to be correct?
Colossians 2:12: Buried with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in baptism, wherein also you are risen with them through the faith of the operation of Aluahim, who has raised them from the dead.
Or,
Colossians 2:12: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of Aluahim, who has raised him from the dead.
And, which one of these renderings of Matthew 28:20 seems to be correct?
Matthew 28:20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever we have commanded you: and, lo, we are with you always, even unto the end of the world.
Or,
Matthew 28:20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
A proper baptism is in the name of Yahushua The Messiah, because we are baptized “into” Yahushua The Messiah. Baptism is a symbol of both His and our death, burial, and resurrection. Writes Paul to the Romans,
Romans 6:4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Mashiach was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
And also to the Galatians,
Galatians 3:27: For as many of you as have been baptized into Mashiach have put on Mashiach.
Paul asks the rhetorical question in the first letter to the Corinthians,
1 Corinthians 1:13: Is Mashiach divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
The obvious answer to this rhetorical question is, No. We are baptized in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach (the one the world wrongfully calls Jesus Christ), because it was He whom was crucified for us. I will let my brother Paul speak for me when he writes to the Galatians,
Galatians 2:20: I am crucified with Mashiach: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Mashiach that lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of Aluahim, who loves me, and gave himself for me.
Amen.
Three That Bear Record
Now, let’s take a look at the second verse that trinitarians use to back their pagan belief.
1 John 5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
This verse is the only verse in the entire Bible that can possibly be interpreted as saying the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three in one. The King James Bible and the New King James Bible are some of the only modern translations that include this passage. The scholarly consensus is that this passage is a Latin corruption that found its way into a Greek manuscript at an early date while being absent from the thousands of other manuscripts. This addition is so famous and hence so well known that it has even been given its own name and is called the “Comma Johanneum.” Comma means a short clause.
The King James New Testament was compiled from over 5,000 copies of copies of the original manuscripts which have long since perished. This added text (in 1 John 5:7) was found in only 1 of the 5,000 plus manuscripts as a footnote (“gloss”). This is even more proof that it was an added text, and there is not one major theologian that does not acknowledge this fact. The first known author of the Textus Receptus Bible (the origin in which the King James Version Bible was translated) was Desiderius Erasmus in A.D. 1516, who spent the first fifteen years of his studies almost fully given to translating the early Christian writers of the first few centuries after Mashiach. Critics often assert that ‘Erasmus did not have the manuscripts we have today.’ In fact, he had access to every reading currently extant, and rejected those matching the Catholic Latin Vulgate (and the TNIV, NIV ESV, HCSB, and NASB today). In The Life and Letters by Froude, we read,
“In fact, Erasmus’ own manuscript collection was so large and valuable, it was covetously seized by customs when he left England to go to the Continent to finalize the Greek New Testament in 1514. He protested saying that “they had stolen the labours of his life.” The manuscripts were returned in a few days”
– Froude, The Life and Letters, p. 169.
Desiderius Erasmus (AD 1466 – 1536) was a Dutch philosopher, Catholic theologian, and Catholic priest, who was devoted to learning. While he was surrounded by apostacy, he made it his life’s goal to obtain knowledge of the Scriptures, and provide an unadulterated version of Aluahim’s Word. He studied at the University of Paris, and also at Oxford University in England. He gained valuable letters of introduction to the Royal Courts of Europe which allowed him access to institutions throughout Europe with biblical manuscripts. He became a professor at the University of Cambridge from A.D. 1510-1515, where the majority of his work on the New Testament Greek variants was collated. He is quoted in a letter saying,
“I shall sit down to Holy Scripture with my whole heart, and devote the rest of my life to it…All these three years I have been working entirely at Greek, and have not been playing with it”
– Froude, The life and Letters, p. 87
Erasmus published the first New Testament in Greek titled, Novum Instrumentum omne. Erasmus did not include the infamous Comma Johanneum of 1 John 5:7-8 in either his 1516 or 1519 editions of his Greek New Testament, but it made its way into the third edition in 1522. This is said to be caused by pressure from the Catholic church. He argued that he found no Greek manuscript that included it, but he reluctantly agreed to include it in his text, perhaps due to politico-theologico-economic concerns.
Let us now read a few quotes from Bible translators and commentators concerning the “Comma Johanneum.” We read,
“This text concerning the heavenly witness is not contained in any Greek manuscript which was written earlier than the fifteen Century. It is not cited by any of the ecclesiastical writers; not by any of early Latin fathers even when the subjects upon which they treated would naturally have lead them to appeal to its authority. It is therefore evidently spurious”
– Benjamin Wilson (Emphatic Diaglott)
“It is now generally held that this passage, called the Comma Johanneum, is a gloss that crept into the text of the Old Latin and Vulgate at an early date, but found its way into the Greek text only in the 15th and 16th Centuries.”
– Thomas Nelson and Sons Catholic Commentary, 1951, page 1186
“The term “Trinity” is nowhere to be found in the Bible. But the doctrine is there – this conclusion is inescapable. Nor need we be disturbed by the knowledge that certain words in 1 John 5:7, 8 are spurious additions that found their way into our King James Version from certain manuscripts of the Latin Vulgate, where they originated. For while it is true that no formal statement of the doctrine can be found in the most reliable Biblical manuscripts, nevertheless a comparison of Scripture with Scripture make any contrary teaching untenable.”
– (R. M. Johnston, Ministry, November 1964, What can we know about the Holy Trinity?)
“The New Testament does not have any explicit statement on the Trinity – apart from 1 John 5:7, which has been rejected as a medieval addition to the text…”
– (Dennis Fortin, “God, the Trinity and Adventism”)
“In Some versions of the Bible the words “in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit’ and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth” appear in 1 John 5:7, 8 (NKJV). The only problem is they are a later addition, not found in the original manuscripts. Among biblical scholars there is agreement that this statement is not genuine and has been added, probably to support the doctrine of the Trinity…”
– (Sabbath School Bible Study Guide: July – Sept 2009 pg 108)
Once again, the Harlot – Babylon the Great, added this passage to better suit her pagan teachings of the Trinity. It did not exist in any Greek manuscript until the sixteenth Century. So, how is 1 John 5:5-8 supposed to read? Below, I have put a strike through the added words (the “Comma Johanneum”), so you can read the passage the way it is meant to read.
1 John 5:5-8: Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Yahushua is the Son of Aluahim? This is He that came by water and blood, even YAHUSHAUA HaMashiach; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is Truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
All it takes is one person to be used by the Adversary to slip in one small passage or an incorrect punctuation, in order to lead a “babe in Mashiach” into believing a pagan doctrine. This is why we must compare Scripture with Scripture.
Isaiah 28:10: For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.
If the doctrine does not align with the rest of the Testimony (the Scriptures), then the doctrine must be thrown out. We are told to “prove all things” (1 Thess. 5:21). And forget not,
Isaiah 8:20: To the Torah (Law) and the Testimony (Prophets): if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
The Godhead
The word “Godhead” has confused many people. This word is used in the King James Version Bible three times. This has been used by Trinitarians to describe what they call “the three persons of the Godhead”; that supposedly being the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Non-Trinitarians have also used this term to back the divinity of Mashiach, and by doing so, have led more confusion to the devout follow of Mashiach. Words like these just bring more perplexity to the nature of the One True Aluahim.
A Wikipedia search on the etymology of the word godhead says that it is inherited from Middle English godhead, equivalent to God + head (“-hood”). First attested in the Ancrene Wisse (A.D. 1225); compare godhood and Dutch godheid as well as German Gottheit.
This word has transformed from the original, “godhood”, to “godhead”. There is a dramatic influence in the way these two words interact with someone’s envision of the Aluahim of the Bible. For instance, the word “godhood” simply conveys Aluahim’s nature – Divine, Eternal, Limitless, etc. We would similarly use this suffix (“hood”) to describe a human male’s manhood – qualities that make up a man.
The word “godhead” is misleading, as it brings the reader to thinking that the Aluahim of the Bible is multiple deities. For example, the word “head” denotes authority over a body or multiple bodies. This is comparable to a man being head of his household, which implies he is one of multiple persons.
The word Godhead derives from the word Godhood, and this is a more accurate rendering of the word. Although, it is still an inappropriate translation of the Greek words used to describe the Divinity of YAHUAH. This mistranslated word can easily mislead a “babe in Mashiach” into believing in three separate persons – the Trinity. Each Scripture that uses the word “Godhead”, is a translation from the Greek word theos, but used differently each time. When Strong’s Lexicon directly translates the following Greek Scriptures into English, the word “Godhead” is not even used in either verse. This is because this word was not used in the early translations of the English Bible, but was later added.
Now let us first read each verse the way it is shown in the King James Version Bible, then we will read it exactly how Strong’s Lexicon’s translates it.
First Verse
Colossians 2:9: For in Him (Yahushua) dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
The Greek word “Godhead” in this verse is Strong’s Concordance 2320, theotes (theh-ot’-ace): deity, Godhead.
The direct Greek to English translation is as follows:
Colossians 2:9: For in Him (Yahushua) all the fullness of Deity [Aluahim] dwells in bodily form.
Second Verse
Acts 17:29: Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of Aluahim, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
The Greek word for “Godhead” in this verse is Strong’s Concordance number 2304, theios (thi’os): Divine; subst: the Deity, Godlike, Godhead. Theios – divine, manifesting the characteristics of God’s nature.
The direct Greek to English translation is as follows:
Acts 17:29: Therefore, being offspring of Aluahim, we should not think that Divine Being [Aluahim] is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by man’s skill and imagination.
Third Verse
Romans 1:20: For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
The Greek word “Godhead” in this verse is Strong’s Concordance number 3205, theiotes (thi-ot’-ace): Divinity, Divine nature, (abstractly) – Godhead. Theiotes – properly, deity manifested, i.e. the revelation of Aluahim (His attributes) which reveals Himself for people to know.
The direct Greek to English translation is as follows:
Romans 1:20: For since the creation of the world Aluahim’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and Divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse.
The word “Godhead” is mistranslated. The words that the Apostles were using, meant to convey YAHUAH’S Divine nature, His attributes, His Divinity, and His Mashiach. When the word “Godhead” is taken out of these passages, then the Scriptures read as they ought to read. The direct translation of these three verses make complete sense, and align perfectly with the rest of the Testimony of our Aluahim. Just one mistranslation or one punctuation error, can deceive the reader into believing an entirely different doctrine than that of Yahushua HaMashiach. Our brother Paul warns us,
2 Corinthians 11:3: But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Mashiach.
Christianity’s Deity
The supposed English translation of the Mashiach’S name which all of Christendom (a pagan religion) uses, does not come from His Hebrew name, but from the Greek name Iesous Chrio (Jesus Christ in modern English). This is an entirely different name with an entirely different meaning. Iesous is said to mean “God is salvation”, and Christos is said to mean “anointed one”, but we will shortly break down the true meanings and etymology of these words. The name Jesus Christ (Iesous Chrio) was born out of the pagan Greek culture, and not from the Hebrew culture, so we must dig deeper in order to not be deceived.
A country’s language is highly influenced by its religious beliefs and traditions. For example, the word hades is a Greek word for the name of the pagan Greek deity of the underworld, yet it is synonymously used to describe the grave (where the dead are buried). The Greeks (a gentile nation) did not worship YAHUAH – the Creator of the heavens, the earth, the seas, and everything in them. Therefore, the definition of the name Iesous being “God’s salvation” does not point to the Hebrew Aluahim – YAHUAH, but rather a Greek or Roman pagan deity such as, Zeus (Greek) or Jupiter (Roman). This means that Iesous means: Zeus’s salvation or Zeus’s strength.
Jesus Christ is the one whom our true Mashiach warned us about when He said,
John 5:43: I am come in my Father’s name (YAHUAH), and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own (idios) name, him you will receive.
Let’s take a moment to learn more about the Greek word that the Mashiach purposely chose for “own”. This is Strong’s Concordance number 2398, idios: one’s own, apart, aside, due, private or separate. This same Greek word idios or Latin idiota or Old French idiot became the modern English word used to describe a person of low intelligence, a layman, or an ignorant person. Keep this in mind as we move forward to better understanding the origin and meaning of the words Christian and Chrio, for this Greek word idios points us in the right direction.
Now for the word Christ. The English word Christ comes from the Greek and Latin word Christos which is literally translated as: “the smeared one”. The closest Greek word to the Hebrew word Mashiach (anointed one) is chrio. This is Strong’s Concordance number 5548, chrio (khree-o): Probably akin to chraomai through the idea of contact; to smear or rub with oil, i.e. (by implication) to consecrate service – anoint.
Yahushua’ disciples would have not gone around teaching the Gentile nations about Iesous Chrio – the smeared one of Zeus’s strength or Zeus’s salvation. They would have used the Mashiach’S Hebraic name along with the Hebrew word for anointed one – Mashiach. Even when they preached in the Greek language they would have not translated Aluahim’s name and title. They would have used more appropriate words and concepts to describe both who Yahushua and His doctrine was.
Now for the word “Christian”. They tell you that the definition of the word Christian means: “one who belongs to Christ (the smeared one)”. But this is a newer concept, for the word Christian was used secularly during the time of the Mashiach, but it did not hold the same meaning as it does today. The Greek word “Christian” comes from the word “Christianus” which derives from the root word cretin (which can sound like Christian). The word cretin is literally translated as: an idiot or moron. It was the pagans in Antioch (refer to Acts 11:26) who first used this word “cretin” to belittle, offend, and mock the true disciples of Mashiach – the Natsarim (refer to Acts 24:5). See, the word “Christian” was originally used derogatorily. Yahushua’S disciples never called themselves by this hateful word, but rather encouraged one another to continue preaching the Word even if they were called bad names. Peter writes,
1 Peter 4:16: If [you suffer as a] Christian, do not be ashamed, [but is to] glorify Aluahim in this name.
The words [you suffer as a] and [but is to] are added words, and are not written in the Greek. And the words “in this” are improperly translated. This can easily be rendered as,
1 Peter 4:16: If [you are called a] Christian (Cretin: an idiot or moron), do not be ashamed, but rather glorify YAHUAH which is His name.
It wasn’t until the Catholic church (meaning: the universal church) adopted the name “Christian” that the word began to have a religious connotation. They used this term to attach it to their new pagan deity named Iesous Chrio – the smeared or anointed one of Zeus’s strength. So then all who were called “Christians” (cretins) were by definition those who followed or belonged to the Chrio (Christos or Christ).
Take note, that Jupiter is the Roman equivalent to the Greek deity Zeus who is openly worshipped in the Vatican under the guise of a bronze statue with the supposed name “St. Peter”, whose big-toe is regularly kissed at certain ceremonies.
It was easier to infiltrate an already established corrupted church than to start a brand new one, so Satan used the already weakened state of the church in Rome to set up his counterfeit religion. The religion of Christianity was more appealing to pagans because it is mixed with Platonic philosophy which was intriguing to intellectuals, and Greek mythology which was more familiar and widely accepted amongst the Romans. Rome then forcefully spread this new religion unto its citizens, and by the 4th Century A.D. Christianity was the official pagan religion of the Roman Empire, and still is to this very day.
The Catholic church changed the name of the Mashiach to Iesous Christos (Jesus Christ in modern English) and elevated him to the position of Aluahim (God), they destroyed the original Aramaic New Testament Scriptures (Brit Chadashah) and re-wrote their own version in Greek and Latin, they martyred the true followers of Mashiach (the Natsarim), they re-wrote history, they created false science using mysticism and alchemy, they changed the geographical maps (to create Heliocentrism), they re-defined sin (by supposedly nailing the Torah to the cross), and they changed our Creator’s calendar (from the Full New Moon to both the Roman Gregory Calendar and the dark crescent).
The pagan Universal church (or Catholic church) has hidden the knowledge of our Creator and have taught lies in replace of the Truth. Now all of that is the exact definition of the word blasphemy which is Strong’s Concordance number 988, blasphemia: blasphemy. HELPS Word study says this about the Greek word blasphemia: slow to call something good and slow to call something bad. “switches” right for wrong (wrong for right), i.e. calls what God [Aluahim] disapproves, “right” which “exchanges the truth of God [Aluahim] for a lie”.
The Universal church (the R.C.C) has created a group of cretins (Christians) who are uneducated, ignorant, and misinformed in the Word of YAHUAH. Worshipping a pagan triune deity whose name has been changed and translated so many times throughout history that he could be a reincarnation of Apollos, Re, Vishnu, or any other ancient pagan deity. In Christianity, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit represent pagan deities just like every other false religion. The father can represent Zeus, the son Apollo, and the holy spirit can be represented by Athena. Christians have been duped into worshipping false idols, pagan deities, and the creation rather than the Creator.
Remember, “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). The true followers of Mashiach no longer identify with this pagan mockery of a name – Christian (Cretin), but rather as the Natsarim – those who follow the One that came from Nazareth.
The true worshippers of YAHUAH Aluahim know that He is One, not two or three.
The Scriptures plainly tell us,
“But to us there is but One Aluahim, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Master Yahushua HaMashiach, by whom are all things, and we by him.” – Paul (1 Corinthians 8:6)
“And this is life eternal, that they might know You the Only True Aluahim, and Yahushua HaMashiach, whom You have sent.” – John (John 17:3)
“The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Yasharal: YAHUAH our Aluahim is One Aluahim.” – Yahushua HaMashiach (Mark 12:29)
“Hear, O Yasharal: YAHUAH our Aluahim is One YAHUAH.” – Moses (Deuteronomy 6:4)

Babylon the Great – the Largest Trinitarian Religion in the World
Some Christians are aware that the Roman empire, which is still very much alive today, is the Beast mentioned by both Daniel and John. And the Harlot who rides the Beast is none other than the Vatican city – the home of the Roman Catholic church. This is what makes up Mystery Babylon the Great. This is the Beast, who “thought to change appointed times and laws” (Daniel 7:25). What many people are not aware of, is that Babylon the Great comprises of more than just the religion of Christianity, but has created the world’s largest trinitarian religion by establishing what they call the three “Abrahamic faiths” – Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.
Both religions of modern Judaism and Islam were born out of the Roman Empire. This is why Babylon the Great is considered great, powerful, and given the name, Universal church. The Universal church is exactly that; it is world-wide, it is the mother of all churches, synagogues, and mosques, and consists of about 5 billion members (Christians, Jews, and Muslims).
Judaism
After the destruction of Yarushalam in 70 A.D. the Yahudim were scattered, hence the name the Jewish diaspora. The original Hebrews fled to various countries; some fled to Egypt and several other countries throughout Africa while others fled north to Asia minor or found other territories throughout the Eastern Roman Empire to settle. After centuries of extreme persecution, many of the original Yahudim were either killed or forced to adopt either the state religion of Christianity or to worship on the seventh-day of the Roman calendar and not according to the phases of the moon. During this time (between the 1st – 4th Century A.D.), many of the Natsarim – true followers of Mashiach were martyred while a remnant fled into the wilderness (refer to Revelation 12:6). We read from A Profession Of Faith From The Church Of Constantinople in the year 325 A.D. Under The Emperor Constantine:
“I renounce all customs, rites, legalisms. Unleavened breads & sacrifices of lambs of the Hebrews, and all other FEASTS of the Hebrews, sacrifices, prayers, aspersions, purifications, sanctifications and propitiations and fasts, and NEW MOONS, AND SABBATHS, and superstitions, and hymns and chants and observances and Synagogues, and the food and drink of The Hebrews; in one word, I renounce everything Jewish, EVERY LAW, rite and custom and if afterwards I shall wish to deny and return to Jewish superstition, or shall be found eating with The Jews, or feasting with them, or secretly conversing and condemning the Christian religion instead of openly confuting them and condemning their vain faith, then let the trembling of Gehazi cleave to me, as well as the legal punishments to which I acknowledge myself liable. And may I be anathema in the world to come, and may my soul be set down with Satan and the devils.”

Shortly after the Council of Nicaea (325 A.D.) the Council of Laodicea (363 A.D.) declared that all true Sabbath keepers (based on the Full New Moon) were to work on YAHUAH’S true Sabbath, and keep the pagan Roman Sunday or Saturday as their day of rest. This is why to this day, the Jews rest on the seventh-day of the Roman Gregorian calendar while the rest of their worship days are based on the crescent moon.
During harsh Roman persecutions, many Yahudim fled to parts of Babylon which was under minimal Roman control. It was here in Babylon that the new religion of Judaism was born. The Talmud – a compilation of pagan rabbinic traditions, was written in Babylon (present day Iraq) between the 3rd – 5th Century A.D. The Talmud became the primary piece of literature for obtaining Jewish doctrine and to this very day is held higher than the Tanakh – the Torah and the Prophets.
In the Jewish Encyclopedia, we read,
“For the majority of Jews, the Talmud is still the supreme authority in religion”
– Jewish Encyclopedia Vol. 12
“The ultimate authority for Orthodoxy is the Babylonian Talmud”
– Jewish Encyclopedia page 637.
In 359 A.D. Hillel II created the modern Jewish calendar to use for celebrating their feast days. This calendar is based on the New Moon (Rosh Chodesh) beginning on the dark crescent, which is a Babylonian tradition and not Biblical. According to Epiphanius of Salamis, Hellel II was secretly baptized on his deathbed. The Christian convert Joseph of Tiberias was one of his disciples who built many churches in Jewish towns that did not yet have a Christian community.
In the Encyclopedia Judaica, we read,
“In AD 351-352 Roman persecution flared and the Jews revolted. They were soon crushed. Many Jewish towns were destroyed and decrees issued against the local authorities and against Judaism. The privileges of the head of the Sanhedrin and the freedoms of the Sanhedrin itself were curtailed. Roman pressure to conform Jewish Time lunar Sabbath to Roman Time had reached crises level.
Under this pressure Hillel II agreed to limit the functions of the head of the Sanhedrin, as well as the Sanhedrin itself, with respect to proclaiming the New Moon, setting festival dates, and employing intercalation [inserting the 13th month]. With the decline of the Jewish power-base in Israel, the Jewish community in Babylon had been rising in influence to fill the vacuum. Hillel II published details informing all Jews of the methods of the [new] calculated calendar developed in Babylon. From that time on the Sanhedrin in Judea ceased to function or to maintain calendar experts. Hillel II is thus given the credit for present fixed Rabbinical calendar, but in reality it originated in Babylon and was just the starting point of the development of the Rabbinical calendar in use today.”
– Encyclopedia Judaica, s.v. “Hillel.”
By the 6th Century A.D. the Hebrew language was changed to what it is today. The sound of the Hebrew language is not the same that was spoken by Yahushua or His disciples. The relatively new sounds of the Hebrew language was influenced by both Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews (non-Hebrew tribes). A group of scribes took the Tanakh and re-wrote it using diacritical marks to enable incorrect pronunciations of words. They purposely left out certain letters making what is called ‘defective’ name spellings, and added diacritical markings to teach the reader how to pronounce the word. This is one of the reasons why our Creator’s name (Yud, Heh, Waw, Heh) is wrongfully pronounced as Yahweh or Yahveh.
The Masoretes begun their work around the 6th Century A.D. and completed in the 10th Century by scholars at the Talmudic academies in Babylonia and Palestine. The Masoretic texts are what make up the Hebrew Bible today – the Tanakh. Besides misspelling many words and names (Aluahim’s included), a few major Hebrew alphabetical changes were also made. For example, the sound of the Aleph became an Eleph, the sound of a Beyt became a Veyt, the sound of the Waw became a Vav, and the sound of the Taw became a Tav. The modern Hebrew language has many more ‘V’ sounds than it used to have. The ancient Hebrew language is not completely lost, for YAHUAH preserved His language in ancient tablets such as, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Murashu documents. And by studying Hebrew root words and comparing ‘defective’ and ‘full name’ spellings written in the Masoretic texts, we can better learn how to properly pronounce ancient Hebrew words and names.
For more information about ‘defective’ and ‘full name’ spellings, please read the articles, The Name of the One True Aluahim, and Yasharal – YAHUAH’S Firstborn.
From the language, to the calendar and worship days, and to the written traditions, the entire modern religion of Judaism was conceived out of Babylon The Great. The modern Jews will proclaim that there is one god, but it is how and when we worship that shows who we worship. The supposed Jewish “star of David” represents the deity Chiun or Remphan whom is the modern Roman deity Saturn (refer to Amos 5:26, Acts 7:43). This is why the Adversary had modern Jews celebrate their sabbath – a rest and worship day, on the Roman day of Saturday (Saturn’s day) – dedicated to the deity Saturn or also called Satan (refer to Revelation 2:9, 3:9).
They also give reverence to the Sun deity in many ways. The first, is through the representation of the Jewish kippah – a small round hat that sits on top of a man’s head that represents the sun disk. The second, is by the direction they pray. Mizrah – the Hebrew word for “east” is the direction that the Jews in the Diaspora west of Yasharal (Israel) would face during prayer. They used the city of Yarashalam as an excuse to face east while they prayed, but there is no such custom in the Tanakh. Praying east to give worship to the sun is nothing new (refer to Ezekiel 8:16), for all three religions of Babylon The Great (Christianity, Judaism, and Islam) are all sun worshippers.
The modern Jewish religion is made up of all types of pagan Babylonian traditions such as, the starting of a day at sunset (see the article, What is Considered to be a Day in Scripture?), beginning their lunar months based on the dark crescent, and beginning their civil year in the fall.
Islam
The religion of Islam was created in the early 7th Century A.D., and it too was conceived out of Babylon The Great. The supposed “Prophet” Muhammad the sole writer of the Quran – the main text for obtaining Muslim doctrine, was written in the Byzantium (Eastern Roman Empire) province of Arabia Petrea, also known as Rome’s Arabian Province. According to Islam tradition, the angel Gabriel came to Muhammad to teach him the ways of Abraham, Moses, the Mashiach, and other Prophets in the Tanakh. Muhammad was a self-proclaimed Prophet who allegedly had multiple signs and visions from Aluahim.
Once again, the actual Word of Aluahim – the Tanakh (Torah and Prophets), was replaced with another form of Babylonian literature – the Quran. And YAHUAH’S name was replaced with the title Allah – which is a Semitic word and can be translated as “most high” in Hebrew, or is a shortened Aramaic way to use the title “Aluah” in which is often translated as god. The religion of Islam views Yahushua as just another Prophet, no different than Moses or Abraham. This is probably why the name of their deity – Allah, is used instead of Aluah or Aluahim, because it completely leaves out the “waw” in which represents Mashiach. No “waw” in the word Aluah or Aluahim and you don’t have YAHUAH or His Salvation. The same goes for the Hebrew title Elohim that has also been changed.
For a deeper study on the title Elohim, and Allah, please read the article, The Name of the One True Aluahim.
All three supposed “Abrahamic faiths” have replaced both YAHUAH and His Mashiach’s name and title for a counterfeit name and title, such as, Jesus Christ, Elohim, and Allah.
During the time in which Mahammad had his revelations (7th Century A.D.), the religions of Arabia were Christianity, Judaism, polytheism, and Zoroastrianism. Muhammad lived around multiple religions and could have easily been influenced by them all when coming up with this new religion. When Muhammad had his first vision, he first confronted both his wife Khadijah and her uncle Waraqah bin Naufal who were converted Christians at the time. This is how Muhammad came to learn that it was supposedly the angel Gabriel whom he spoke to. The Quran shows many parallels to both Christian and Rabbinical texts, such as, both the Tanakh and the Brit Chadashah.
The pagan religion of Islam says that they worship only one deity, but they too worship multiple deities. For example, the Quran invokes the importance of Friday on the Roman Gregorian calendar as a sacred day of worship in a chapter called “Al-Jumah,” meaning the day of congregation, which is also the word for Friday in Arabic. Friday on the Roman Catholic Gregorian calendar got its name from the Roman deity of love, Venus. This day represents worship to the female deity Venus, who has had many names in the past, such as, the Babylonian name Ishtar – the queen of heaven (refer to Jeremiah 7:18).
Muslims are also sun worshipper, for they pray facing east towards the sun. They too use the excuse that they are praying towards a holy city, the city of Mecca, but sun worship is the number one form of pagan worship by Babylon The Great. Also, praying towards any city, be that Yarushalam, the wailing wall, or Mecca, is a form of idol worship.
Just like the religion of Judaism, the religion of Islam has adopted the Babylonian dark crescent moon to begin their months and to give them their holy days, such as, Ramadan. This is the complete opposite to YAHUAH’S true chodesh, which is the Full Moon, in which is the only phase of the moon to rule the night (refer to Genesis 1:16).
For a deeper study of the true chodesh, please read the article, The Full Moon is the New Moon.
Christianity
I have already discussed multiple times how Christianity is an ancient pagan trinitarian religion. They worship on Sundays on the Roman Catholic Gregorian calendar, in which Sunday is dedicated to the sun. And this is because their deity (Jesus Christ) is a sun deity. If a church says they are not trinitarian then they often times preach that the Mashiach is Aluahim (God). And if they happen to recognize that Yahushua is not Aluahim, then they have made void YAHUAH’S Law (Torah) by teaching that the Law was supposedly nailed to the cross. All three religions of Babylon the Great have made void YAHUAH’S Law (Torah).
The Devil’s Trinity
On Thursday, February 16, 2023 the United Arab Emirates officially opened the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi. All on one piece of property there is a mosque, a church, and a synagogue that face one another. Besides each place of worship stands a tall pillar (an idol) illuminating an Islamic crescent, a Christian cross, and a Jewish menorah. There you have it, all three supposed “Abrahamic faiths” worshipping on three separate days of the Roman Catholic calendar; Friday (Venus or Ishtar, a female deity) for Muslims, Saturday (Saturn or Satan, a male deity) for Jews, and Sunday (the sun which is associated with a number of male deities) for Christians.
An article titled Abrahamic Family House ‘changes all the rules’ of interfaith understanding on religionnews.com quoted Cardinal Miguel Angel Ayuso Guixot, noting that,
“Fear is the outcome of a lack of knowledge,” referred to the center as a “beacon of mutual understanding.” The cardinal said that believers do not need to walk away from their deeply held beliefs to befriend other and to visit their houses of worship. Without renouncing different spiritual resources,” he said, “each has a command to live with brothers and sisters whatever their religion.”
– Cardinal Miguel Angel Ayuso Guixot
The same article also quoted the chief rabbi of the United Kingdom, Ephraim Mirvis, who referred to the moment as,
“historical”, seeing the “children of Abraham gathered … to build a new world.” He challenged the audience to “recognize the part of the divine in every person” so we can “shape a new world built from loving kindness.”
– Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis
What does Aluahim’s actual Word have to say about this abomination? Let’s take a look at a few Scriptures,
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
2 Corinthians 6:14: Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with Lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
Matthew 12:30: He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters abroad.
Matthew 10:34-37: Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and a man’s enemies will be those of his own household. He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. And he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Hosea 4:6: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the Law of your Aluahim, I also will forget your children.
Fear is not the outcome of a lack of knowledge. According to YAHUAH, a lack of knowledge is associated with sin or the forgetting of His Torah in which all three supposed “Abrahamic faiths” have neglected in some form or another. True fear is the outcome of actually having knowledge. When we learn the Truth about our Creator, His Law, and His creation, then we begin to properly “Fear Aluahim and keep His commandments” (Ecclesiastes 12:13).
Also, where in Scripture are we supposedly commanded to live and associate with family members whom do not believe in the Word of Aluahim? The Scriptures make it absolutely clear that Aluahim comes before anyone on earth (refer to Matthew 10:37-39). The Mashiach tells us to, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the Kingdom of Aluahim” (Luke 9:60). We are commanded to keep the Torah of our Aluahim (refer to Deuteronomy 10:13, 28:1, Matthew 5:19), to preach the everlasting gospel (refer to Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-16), and follow the Lamb wherever He goes (refer to Revelation 14:4, Matthew 19:21).
Any religion that teaches peace on earth, or that we should obtain spiritual truth from multiple religions, or that all we need is to accept one another no matter our spiritual belief, is of the Devil and his church – Babylon The Great. Of course, I am not preaching hate, for we are told to love our enemies. Loving someone does not mean we need to associate with them. We can easily show kindness through short interactions, and we should always try and care for the sick, the poor, the widows and orphans when the opportunity arises. But, we should lovingly correct the wrongdoers, try and guide the sinners to repentance, and direct people to YAHUAH’S Word and His Torah. If someone denies YAHUAH’S Word and His Torah, then what else are we to do but, “shake off the dust from your feet, and let your peace return to you” (refer to Matthew 10:13-15).
The Bible prophesied that Babylon The Great will reign over the whole world for approximately fifteen days or one hour with the Beast (refer to Revelation 17:12), and that is exactly the “new world” that is often times referred to by spiritual leaders, such as, the pope who has been pushing for a new world order for decades. The only new world will be after the thousand-year reign when New Yarushalam comes down from heaven. We know that these things must come to pass, because YAHUAH’S Word is sure.
Learning the truth about whom Babylon The Great really is, how she controls the whole world (refer to Daniel 7:23), how she tried to change appointed times and laws (refer to Daniel 7:25), how she is an ancient trinitarian religion, and how her calendar is her mark, will bring knowledge of the Truth to a devout follower of Mashiach. And this can save one from eternal destruction; learning how to properly keep the Torah and the Prophets, also referred to by John the Revelator as, the Commandments of Aluahim and the Testimony of Yahushua HAMSHIACH. The Testimony of Yahushua HaMashiach plainly tells us that the Aluahim of the Bible is not two nor three, but ONE.
This knowledge of the One True Aluahim encompasses the entire Torah, for the very first commandment YAHUAH says,
Exodus 20:3: You shall have no other Aluahim before Me.
YAHUAH is telling us that if we believe that He is a triune deity or even two deities, then we are breaking His first commandment. If we believe that we can accept any other person’s spiritual belief, then we are breaking the first commandment. If we follow any spiritual book other than the Torah and the Prophets (the Tanakh), then we are breaking the first commandment. For we are reminded by the Mashiach that,
Mark 12:29: …The first of all the Commandments is, Hear, O Yasharal; YAHUAH our Aluahim is One Aluahim.
To sum it up,
John 17:3: … This is life eternal, that they might know You the Only True Aluahim, and Yahushua HaMashiach, whom You have sent.
Take note, that the writers of the Brit Chadashah (New Testament Scriptures) are always very careful in separating both YAHUAH and His son. One is YAHUAH; our Aluahim, Father, and Creator, and one is Yahushua; our king, high priest, judge, and the son of Aluahim. Paul writes,
1 Timothy 2:5: For there is One Aluahim and one Mediator between Aluahim and men, the man Yahushua HaMashiach.
