Who is the Body of Messiah? (Aluahim’s Church)
Proclaiming to be of the Body of Mashiach is no small thing. When we call someone our brother or sister in Mashiach, we are acknowledging that:
- They keep YAHUAH’S covenant; His Torah (Law) and His Testimony (Prophets and Writings).
- They have become Yasharal (wrongfully pronounced Israel) – seed of Abraham.
- They claim that Yahushua is their king and high priest and will return, thus practice communion.
- They filter everything through the Word of Aluahim (the Holy Scriptures).
Most professed followers of Mashiach think that the Old Testament Scriptures (Tanakh) and the New Testament Scriptures (Brit Chadashah) are completely different. They think that everything Yahushua along with the Apostles said or wrote are new concepts. This is not the case.
Just the word New Testament is misleading, because there is nothing new about it. The Hebrew word Brit Chadashah which describes the so-called “New Testament” can and should be translated as Renewed Covenant. And the translation of the Tanakh should be translated as Law and Prophets. The Tanakh is an acronym of its three parts: Torah (the five books of Moses), the Nevi’im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings). The covenant of the Tanakh (Law and Prophets) and Brit Chadashah (Renewed Covenant) is the same. The concepts are the same, the teachings are the same, and the Aluah is the same. The body of Mashiach began long before Yahushua walked the earth, and in fact it began with Adam.
Two Families
After Adam and Eve sinned and were cast out of the Garden of Eden, they repented of their sins and turned back to YAHUAH. They taught their two sons; Cain and Abel, the sacrificial system that pointed to the Mashiach to come. They taught both of them YAHUAH’S Law (Torah); Ordinances, Ten Commandments, and Feast Days (First Fruits and Ingatherings), how they should treat each other, and the consequences of sin – transgression of the Law.
One day, both sons offered up a sacrifice unto YAHUAH. Abel knew that only the blood of a lamb, which pointed to the blood of Yahushua (the Son of Aluahim), was acceptable to YAHUAH for an offering. This showed Aluahim that he was fully aware of the true sacrifice that was to be made for all of fallen man, and thus it was an act of faith. We read,
Hebrews 11:4: By faith Abel offered unto Aluahim a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, Aluahim testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead still speaks.
Cain on the other hand disrespected YAHUAH by offering up fruits and vegetables from his own labor, and therefore showing Aluahim that by his own works he will be justified. Our own works cannot save us, but only through showing faith in the Son of Aluahim. By not killing the firstlings of his flock, and keeping it for himself, Cain was selfishly rejecting the coming Mashiach. YAHUAH did not accept Cain’s offering, and this made Cain very angry with Aluahim and jealous of his brother Abel. At that point Cain had already sinned in his heart, and instead of repenting and turning back to YAHUAH, he acted out his sin and killed his brother.
Both Adam and Eve were upset with Cain, and knew that he would continue in his evil ways. So, they decided to have another child, a son that would walk with Aluahim, and carry the Truth from generation to generation.
Genesis 4:25: And Adam knew his wife again; and she bore a son, and called his name Seth: For Aluahim, said she, has appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain killed.
See, Cain was Eve’s son too, but not of her seed (that of the spiritual seed). She needed a new seed to replace Abel, who was a son of Aluahim, thus a seed of Aluahim. Both Adam and Eve were children of Aluahim, because they repented, obeyed Aluahim, and kept His covenant. Their son Abel followed in their footsteps, and therefore inherited the title, son of Aluahim. Cain disobeyed Aluahim, did not keep His covenant, and had no desire to repent and change. Instead, he complained to Aluahim when YAHUAH punished him for murdering his brother Abel. “And Cain said unto YAHUAH, My punishment is greater than I can bear” (Genesis 4:13). Cain should have been grateful that YAHUAH did not destroy him for his sin, but rather showed mercy on him, as He shows mercy on all of us, and gives us all multiple opportunities to repent and turn back towards Him.
Cain distanced himself further from YAHUAH. We’re told, “And Cain went out from the presence of YAHUAH, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden” (Genesis 4:16). Cain now became the father of sinners (turning people away from the One true Aluahim), while Adam and his son Seth became Aluahim’s children. Cain’s descendants built and dwelt in cities, and constructed large idols, all in which we have some remnants of to this very day. While Seth’s descendants dwelt in tents where they could be separate from the world and closer to YAHUAH. This is the beginning of the two seeds, or two families; her seed (depicted as Eve or Aluahim’s church) and your seed (depicted as Satan or Satan’s church). Speaking to Satan, YAHUAH said,
Genesis 3:15: And I will put enmity between you (Satan) and the woman (Eve/Aluahim’s church), and between your seed (Satan’s children) and her seed (Eve/Aluahim’s Church); it (Mashiach) shall bruise your head, and you (Satan) shall bruise His (Mashiach’S) heel.
Adam is of the seed of life (Aluahim’s children), and Seth is the continuation of that good seed; those who walk with Aluahim or stay in the presence of Aluahim, and hand down the Truth to the next generation. Cain is the father of the seed of death (Satan’s children); those who reject the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit), disobey Aluahim, and choose not to repent for their sins. Yahushua says,
John 8:44: You are of your father the Devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the Truth, because there is no Truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Yes, Yahushua is plainly referring to Satan, but also to the seed of Cain who worship Satan the Devil. Men who teach lies in place of the Truth. Men who put pagan traditions of their father Cain’s religion above the religion of YAHUAH, “making the Word of Aluahim of no effect”. Men who refuse to keep YAHUAH’S covenant; His Law and His Testimony. Men who reject the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit) time and time again. Men who put their trust in man and materialism above their faith in Aluahim. It doesn’t matter if these men are openly worshiping Satan or are deceived into disobeying YAHUAH, they are all of their father the Devil (Cain’s seed). This is why it is of the upmost importance to both seek YAHUAH with all our heart and gain knowledge of His Law, because we are either of Aluahim’s seed hence Adams line who keeps YAHUAH’S Law or Satan’s seed hence Cain’s line who transgresses the Law of YAHUAH.
Genesis 4:9: And YAHUAH said unto Cain, Where is Abel your brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?
Yes, a liar and murderer from the beginning! Just like his father, the Devil. The prophet writes, “…are you not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood…” (Isaiah 57:4). There are two grand forces working in the hearts of men; Aluahim’s Ruach HaQodash (the Spirit of Truth), and Satan’s spirit of deceit. From the very beginning there has always and only been two families, two seeds, two types of people:
- Aluahim’s children (sons and daughters of Aluahim/children of Truth) starting with Adam.
- Satan’s children (sons and daughters of man/children of falsehood and lies) starting with Cain.
Yahushua tells us plainly, “He that is not with me is against me” (Matthew 12:30). We either do the will of our Creator or not. We either Keep YAHUAH’S Law or not. We either belong to YAHUAH or belong to Satan.
Below are some verses that show the characteristics of Aluahim’s children:
Romans 8:14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of Aluahim, they are the sons of Aluahim.
Matthew 5:3-9: Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see Aluahim. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of Aluahim.
Galatians 3:26: For you are all children of Aluahim by faith in Yahushua HaMashiach.
Galatians 4:4-5: But when the fullness of the time had come, Aluahim sent forth His son, born of a woman, born under the Law, to redeem those who are under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons [and daughters].
3 John 1:4: I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in Truth.
2 Corinthians 6:17-18: Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says YAHUAH, and touch not the unclean things, and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says YAHUAH.
Revelation 21:7: He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his Aluahim, and he shall be My son.
Ezekiel 11:20: That they may walk in My statutes, and keep Mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be My people, and I will be their Aluahim.
Children of Yasharal (Israel)
Aluahim’s children have always been less in numbers than that of Satan’s children. After the flood, it was Noah and his son’s responsibility to pass the knowledge of YAHUAH down to each generation. Unfortunately, the seed of Cain was found rooted in some of Noah’s offspring, and the pagan traditions and religions of old were once again practiced. As there were yet few, but some of Aluahim’s children that walked the earth, YAHUAH chose Abraham to be the father of the firstborn of all Aluahim’s children. YAHUAH told Abraham,
Genesis 17:7: I will establish My Covenant between you and Me and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting Covenant, to be Aluahim to you and to your descendants after you.
After Abraham’s grandson Jacob wrestled with Aluahim and overcame, his name became Yasharal, and henceforth Aluahim’s people became known as the children of Yasharal – one who has power as a righteous prince with Aluahim because he has overcome. Moses writes,
Exodus 4:22: Thus says YAHUAH, Yasharal is My son, even My firstborn.
Every person on earth that chooses to turn away from worshiping their deities to worship the One and only true Aluahim will be adopted into YAHUAH’S family. They will no longer identify with anything of this world, and will be given the name of Aluahim’s firstborn; Yasharal. This concept existed well before the Mashiach walked the earth. There are numerous examples of people who chose to leave their deities to worship YAHUAH by keeping His covenant; His Law and His testimony, and inherit the title; Aluahim’s children.
A few examples are: Ruth, Rahab, Nebuchadnezzar, and along with countless Egyptians who fled out of Egypt with the Hebrews into the wilderness. The everlasting covenant has always been extended to everyone (all Gentile nations). The Apostle Paul tells us,
Galatians 3:26-29: For you are all children of Aluahim by faith in Yahushua HaMashiach. For as many of you as have been baptized into Mashiach have put on Mashiach. There is neither Jew (Black) nor Greek (White), there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all One in Yahushua HaMashiach. And if you be Mashiach’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Everyone who is baptized into the Mashiach, and keep YAHUAH’S covenant Law; ten commandments, appointed times, and ordinances are referred to as spiritual Yasharal. This is because our Nation (Kingdom) is not of this world, but is heavenly. There is no longer a nation under YAHUAH, for every nation (kingdom) in the world is a Gentile nation.
Spiritual Yasharal becomes grafted into the seed of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, and Yahushua (refer to Romans 11:17), and now belong to the most royal family in earth and in heaven. The head of our household is the King of all kings. And as most homes have a set of rules to abide by, our Aluahim has His Torah. We, being subject to king Yahushua (the king of YAHUAH’S Kingdom) are ordained by him to reign as priests in his Kingdom. Aluahim promises us,
Exodus 19:5- 6: Now therefore, if you will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people: for all the earth is Mine: And you shall be unto Me a Kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Yasharal.
This same promise (covenant) that is mentioned in the very first writings of the Bible (the Torah), is also mentioned in the very last writings of the Bible (John’s Revelation). This shows both how faithful and true our Creator is on His Word, and that the promise is the same from the beginning of this world to the end of it. We read,
Revelation 20:4-6: And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgement was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahushua, and for the word of Aluahim, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Mashiach a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of YAHUAH and of Mashiach, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Every single person from Adam to you and me, who are adopted by Aluahim will inherit the very same promise. The promise has always been the same. The covenant has always been the same. The Law has always been the same. Our Creator has always been the same. Aluahim reminds us through the prophet Malachi,
Malachi 3:6: For I am YAHUAH, I change not.

Aluahim’s Church
The Church of Mashiach began long before Yahushua walked the earth. Aluahim’s church has always been made up of those who walk in the ways of YAHUAH. Before Mashiach, Aluahim called His church the daughter of Yasharal and daughter of Zion. The prophet writes,
Jeremiah 6:2: I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.
Often times in Scripture, a woman is referred to as a church, and a harlot is referred to as an apostate church. Today, Aluahim’s church is often referred to as the Body of Mashiach. As always, any person who chooses to turn away from their sins and their deities to keep YAHUAH’S covenant Law will inherit the seed of Abraham, and eventually the promised land of New Yarushalam.
Aluahim’s children (church) are scattered throughout the whole earth, and can be found in every nation (refer to Revelation 7:9). Even though we are separated from each other, everyone of Aluahim’s children is working in unity to fulfill the will of our Heavenly Father.
1 Corinthians 3:9-11: For we are laborers together with Aluahim: you are Aluahim’s husband, you are Aluahim’s building. According to the grace of Aluahim which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than this is laid, which is Yahushua HaMashiach.
Yahushua and his Law (being that he is the king of YAHUAH’S Kingdom, thus the upholder of the Law) is both the foundation and cornerstone of his church, and has been since Adam. The Apostle tells us,
1 John 2:7: Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning…
Which beginning do you think John is referring to? He’s referring to the beginning of creation, for the Bible’s very first words say, “In the beginning…”. Aluahim’s children (spiritual Yasharal) make up what is called the church or Body of Mashiach (Messiah in English). These people or children of Aluahim began with Adam and will end with the remnant of Yasharal in the very last days. The Apostle tells us,
1 Peter 2:5: You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to Aluahim by Yahushua HaMashiach.
The body of Mashiach (Aluahim’s church) will not belong to any mainstream church, because every single church has apostatized in one form or another, and they do not keep YAHUAH’S covenant Law; His ten commandments (Exodus 20), His appointed times (Leviticus 23), and His ordinances (Leviticus, Deuteronomy). Every single Christian denomination is a daughter of Babylon (an apostate church). The body of Mashiach will not associate themselves with the world (worldly traditions and pagan holidays) nor the religions of the world (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc.). The Aluahim of the Bible cannot and will not be found in any of the proclaim Christian churches today, because Christianity is a modern pagan religion. Paul tells us,
Acts 17:24-25: Aluahim that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Aluahim of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, seeing He gives to all life, and breath, and all things.
As a physical body comprises of a head, arms, legs, hands, feet, eyes, ears, and so-on, the Body of Mashiach contains Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, miracle workers, healers, helps, administrators, speakers of tongues, and Yahushua as our head.
1 Corinthians 11-14: But all these work that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the Body is One, and has many members, and all the members of that One Body, being many, are One Body; so also is Mashiach. For by One Spirit are we all baptized into One Body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into One Spirit. For the Body is not one member, but many.
It is then made clear that there is not one member of the body which is better than another nor is there a hierarchy within the church, “but that the members should have the same care one for another” (1 Corinthians 12:25). A member of the body cannot separate itself from the entirety of the body, and live. Likewise, each member does not exist to perform its personal agenda, but that of which the head instructs it to do. “And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again” (2 Corinthians 5:15). We are One in Mashiach, “And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member honored, all the members rejoice with it” (1 Corinthians 12:26).
Each member of the Body knows that their physical body is no longer their own, but an instrument for Aluahim to carry out His ultimate will. The Apostle reminds us,
1 Corinthians 6:20: For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify Aluahim in your body, and in your spirit, which are Aluahim’s.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17: Know you not that you are the temple of Aluahim, and that the Spirit of Aluahim dwells in you? If any man defile the temple of Aluahim, him shall Aluahim destroy; for the temple of Aluahim is holy, which temple you are.
YAHUAH’S directions on how the Body of Mashiach (church of Mashiach) should treat unbelievers or professed Christians who do not truly love YAHUAH, are the same guidelines He gave to the ancient Hebrews. We are told not to associate with unbelievers in any way unless it is to preach the gospel to them. Even if we stop to help an unbeliever who is stranded, hungry, sick, injured, or in danger (as commanded to do). We do what we can, then if the opportunity arises, we preach the gospel to them before going on our way. We are supposed to completely separate ourselves from the world and everything and everyone in it. Paul reminds us,
Romans 16:17: Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Aluahim Yahushua HaMashiach, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
2 Corinthians 6:17-18: Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says YAHUAH, and touch not the unclean things, and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says YAHUAH Almighty.
2 Corinthians 6:14: Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?
1 Corinthians 5:9-10: I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters, for then must you needs go out of the world.
We are told to be clean, and to not come near anything that is unclean, unless we too should become tainted in the eyes of YAHUAH. The Bible gives clear instruction on this matter. In the book of Leviticus, we are informed which foods contaminate our body and which actions are corruptible. We are considered to be “a holy priesthood”, which means each one of us should abstain from all drugs, alcohol, and unclean meats. Any substance or food that causes disease and or alters our decision-making abilities, essentially defiles the body. We are personal tabernacles of the Most-High, therefore any uncleanliness in our body or any impure thought can, and will dishonor YAHUAH. We are told to “Flee from fornication”, and all sin (leaven) that can make us unclean. So,
1 Corinthians 5:7: Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened.
Corrupting our body goes well beyond what we put inside of it or how we act, but also our associations which can be detrimental to our mental health and affect our decision-making. We are not to participate in worldly affairs such as Hollywood movies and books, pop music, pop culture, pop fashion, politics, holidays, sports, and all vanities of this world. The Apostles write,
1 John 2:15: Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
Aluahim grants His children the Spirit of Truth (the Ruach HaQodash), so that we may be filled with wisdom, and a discerning heart. It is not man’s place to condemn another man, but contrary to popular belief, we are told to judge another man’s faith. “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment”, says Yahushua (John 7:24). If a person’s lifestyle does not align with the Law of Aluahim, or the Testimony of Mashiach, then we are told not to associate with such unbelievers.
For more information on the Law of Aluahim, please read the article, Should Followers of the Messiah Keep the Whole Law?
One Mind
Unlike the churches of the world, the body of Mashiach (the true church of Aluahim) will strive to learn all things pertaining to the Truth – the Law and the Testimony. And in the last days they will all be in agreeance to Aluahim’s Truth, just like on the day of Pentecost,
Acts 4:31-32: And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of Aluahim with boldness. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common.
All teachings will align with the Bible, “For Aluahim is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of saints” (1 Corinthians 14:33). All prophesies will be known to the entire Body, because “no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation” (2 Peter 1:20). We do not need other literature (i.e. Watch Tower and Awake, Ellen White books, etc.) to unravel the teachings of the Scriptures, for “the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things” (John 14:26). Unless directed by the Ruach HaQodash, or unless it is another member of the Body, we do not need to go to any other person to inquire of YAHUAH,
Psalm 32:8: I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
Each member of the Body will not preach the gospel according to their own will and understanding, but of the will of Aluahim and the wisdom of the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit). Therefore, the whole Body will be of One mind, the mind of Mashiach (refer to 1 Corinthians 2:16). Paul writes,
1 Corinthians 1:10: Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Master Yahushua HaMashiach, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no division among you; but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement.
Therefore, if any person, online ministry, or religious teacher, does not align with the Law (Torah) and the Testimony (Prophets), and do not correct their course after being shown in Scripture, cannot be joined to the Body of Mashiach. No matter how friendly and sincere they seem, they cannot be One with Mashiach while teaching doctrines that are contrary to Scripture.
Pray for these poor indoctrinated individuals, for there are countless teachers out there (at some point in times past myself included) who have been duped by a deceiving spirit into believing false prophets and pagan doctrine. This does not mean that they will not be a part of the Body in the future because we all have time to humble ourselves, pray for repentance, and change the course of our lives and the doctrines that we teach others.
Each member of the Body has a duty to uphold the Truth. The way in which we live, what we eat, how we dress, how we speak, and who we associate with. This way, no member of the body will offend another member, and we will respectfully represent YAHUAH. Each member is meant to uplift, and inspire one another, while providing proper nourishment for growth. Paul tells us that, “It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything whereby your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak” (Romans 14:20-21). This pertains to anything that offends, and weakens the whole body. The Apostle uses the example of food, because it is the sustenance that can either weaken or strengthen a body (both physically and spiritually).
1 Corinthians 8:12-13: But when you sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Mashiach. Wherefore, if meat offends my brother, I will eat no flesh while the world stands, lest I offend my brother.
Paul is not only preaching a health message, but simultaneously instructing appropriate etiquette for each member. He reminds us that the Body is not our own, but of Mashiach. Therefore, when we mistreat the Body (our brethren), we are neglecting Yahushua. “Let us not therefore judge one another anymore: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way” (Romans 14:13). These wise words tell us, that everything we do and say must be carefully examined, and without flaw, for we are always in jeopardy of offending Aluahim.
Cut Off
We are given specific counsel on how to approach a member of the Body who seems to be falling away from the Truth. I want to be clear, this pertains to a self proclaimed brother or sister in Mashiach who strive to keep the Torah (Law), and not an unbeliever in YAHUAH, His Torah (Law), or His Word (even if these people claim to be of the Body).
Matthew 18:15-17: Moreover if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall hear you, you have gained a brother. But if he will not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto you as a heathen man and a publican.
It is our duty to lovingly correct and encourage a member that seems to be falling away. Reminding them of the plan for salvation, our hope in the Mashiach, and the patience of the saints. If we neglect our responsibility to both our brother or sister, nor warn the unbeliever to turn away from their unrighteousness, then we can be held accountable for their soul. The prophet writes,
Ezekiel 3:18-21: When I say unto the wicked, you shall surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand. Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. Again, When a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he does no sin, he shall surly live, because he is warned; also you have delivered your soul.
Just like Satan saw his way into the heart of Judas Iscariot through his desire for money, our adversaries will relentlessly prey on our weaknesses. This is why we are told to,
Romans 12:9: Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
YAHUAH expects the same from us today, as He did from the ancient Hebrews. YAHUAH’S Law and the consequences of breaking His Law, have not changed.
The Apostle writes,
Hebrews 10:28-29: He that despised Moses’ Law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under-foot the son of Aluahim, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, and unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
There are numerous stories in the Tanakh (wrongfully called the Old Testament), when members of the nation of Yasharal were allowed to be destroyed by plague, or by sword, or disassociated from the nation for breaking YAHUAH’S Law. He tells us,
Leviticus 18:29-30: For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people. Therefore shall you keep My ordinance, that you commit not any one of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you defile not yourselves therein: I am YAHUAH your Aluahim.
Today, we should not take these things lightly but rather be thankful that he has not struck us down with disease or a disaster due to our previous sinful and lustful life. If a member of the Body of Mashiach (spiritual Yasharal) has fallen away from YAHUAH’S Law, and has defiled him or herself with the uncleanliness of this world and chosen to not turn back to YAHUAH, then we are to no longer associate ourselves with that person. Out of the love and mercy of Aluahim, for His Body, we are to cut that member completely off, as if they are an unbeliever. Paul reminds us,
Romans 11:22: Behold therefore the goodness and severity of Aluahim: on them which fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness: otherwise you also shall be cut off.
The Body of Mashiach (spiritual Yasharal) cannot have any unclean parts, lest the whole Body become defiled, and unworthy of the Kingdom of Heaven. As there is a personal yet spiritual meaning to this passage, there is also a collective implication that refers to the Body of Mashiach when Yahushua gives us the following parable.
Mark 9:43, 45, 47: And if your hand offends you, cut it off: it is better for you to enter into the life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: And if your foot offends you, cut it off: it is better for you to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, in to the fire that never shall be quenched: And if your eye offends you pluck it out: it is better for you to enter into the Kingdom of Aluahim with one eye, than have two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
The Remnant
Every time ancient Yasharal went into captivity, Aluahim kept a selected few alive. This way, when Yasharal was freed, the Truth (Law) of YAHUAH would be maintained in the earth. The prophets referred to this elect as the remnant. These children of YAHUAH stayed true to the Word of Aluahim and they kept His commandments, appointed times, and ordinances. Referring to the remnant that was brought out of Babylon, the prophets writes,
Ezra 9:14: Should we again break Your commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? Wouldn’t You be angry with us till You have consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?
When YAHUAH was speaking with Ezekiel, He told him,
Ezekiel 6:8: Yet will I leave a remnant, that you may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when you shall be scattered through the countries.
And He promised Jeremiah,
Jeremiah 23:3: And I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
Aluahim’s children have always been the minority. Every time they faced war and utter destruction, YAHUAH made sure to keep an elect few alive in order to maintain the Truth; His Torah and Testimony. This way the whole world will have the opportunity to hear the everlasting gospel and make the choice for themselves of whom they shall worship.
This remnant began with Noah who was elected by Aluahim to survive the flood, and establish the Truth once again throughout the whole earth. Then YAHUAH chose the children of Yasharal to put the fear of Aluahim into every person in the earth. YAHUAH continued to save a remnant of people every time Yasharal went into captivity. YAHUAH even warned His disciples of the coming destruction of Yarushalam that took place in 70 A.D. The very first followers of Mashiach that fled Yarushalam before the siege were considered the remnant of Yasharal. Paul writes,
Romans 11:5: Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
During the middle ages and Inquisitions, YAHUAH always made sure that His Word remained very much alive. He always preserved a group of people to carry on the ministry, either by word of mouth, or by transcribing the Bible. The responsibility of this chosen remnant is to uphold and share the true knowledge of YAHUAH, and His Law. This is how the prophet describes the characteristics of the remnant of Aluahim’s people in the last days,
Zephaniah 3:13: The remnant of Yasharal shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
This same remnant is described by John the Revelator,
Revelation 14:5: And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of Aluahim.
John shares more of the qualities that the remnant of Mashiach’s church will have during the last days,
Revelation 14:4: These are they which were not defiled with women (churches); for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wheresoever he goes…
Revelation 12:17: And the Dragon (Satan) was wroth with the woman (Aluahim’s church), and went to make war with the remnant of Her seed, which keep the Commandments of Aluahim [the Torah], and have the Testimony of Yahushua HaMashiach [the Prophets].
Throughout all of human existence, YAHUAH’S children are defined as those who keep His Torah (Law); His ten commandments, appointed times, and ordinances. The Scriptures call these people: Aluahim’s children, children of Yasharal, the seed of Abraham, daughter of Zion, Body of Mashiach, church of Mashiach, Aluahim’s elect, Aluahim’s chosen, and the remnant of Yasharal. These are the remnant of the seed of Adam, and of Seth, and of Abraham, and of Jacob, and of David, and have been adopted into Aluahim’s family and heirs to the Kingdom of YAHUAH (being sons and daughters of Aluahim). Inheriting the promise to reign with Mashiach within the right hand of Aluahim Almighty.
In these last days, the Body of Mashiach will face the final battle. The inhabitants of the whole earth will despise and even search out to kill Aluahim’s children. But, as YAHUAH has always promised, He will keep an elect few alive to make sure that the everlasting gospel goes out one final time. The prophet Joel reminds us,
Joel 2:32: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YAHUAH shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Yarushalam shall be deliverance, as YAHUAH has said, and in the remnant whom YAHUAH shall call.
