The Thousand-Year Rest and Reign (Millennial Sabbath)
YAHUAH’S holy seventh-day Sabbath has, and will always be what separates the children of Aluahim (believers) from the children of men (unbelievers). The true lunar Sabbath has been, and will continue to be disputed until Mashiach returns. In these end-times, the inhabitants of the whole earth will point their fingers at YAHUAH’S true Sabbath keepers, based on the phases of the full New Moon. These will be the remnant of Yasharal (the Natsarim), those who keep the commandments of Aluahim and the Testimony of His son.
The unbelievers will want nothing more than to rid the earth from YAHUAH’S devotional servants. Prophecy tells us, those who choose to keep YAHUAH’S true Sabbath will be cut off from society, no longer being able to “buy or sell” (refer to Revelation 13:17). Finally, there will be a death decree, and “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake”, say’s Yahushua (Matthew 24:9). I personally believe that name is not Jesus and it will not be Christian’s who will be afflicted but rather the true worshippers of YAHUAH, who will be living according to His calendar and not conformed to the Roman calendar system.
We are told,
Revelation 14:13: And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in Yahushua from henceforth: Yes, said the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.
The saints and martyrs who are sleeping in their graves to await the Mashiach’s return are considered to be resting from laboring in Aluahim’s field. And surely, their life of obedience to Aluahim’s Law (Torah) will ensure their names are not blotted from the book of life. They are awaiting that glorious morning when their king returns to resurrect them and grant them to reign a thousand-years with him.
Until then, many prophetic events must take place. The mark of the Beast will first need to be enforced (a calendar system that opposes YAHUAH’S calendar), and then the last stand against Aluahim’s Sabbath (based on the moon) will take place. All the inhabitants of the earth will be deceived into thinking that Aluahim changed His Everlasting Covenant; His commandments, ordinances, and appointed times. This is because they have not taken the time to study Aluahim’s Word for themselves but rather have put their trust in the religious leaders of the world. These are the false prophets, and wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing that the Bible warns us about.
During this time of trouble, that is currently in its early stages, YAHUAH’S children will be even more fervent in prayer, putting on the whole armor of Aluahim, and preaching the everlasting gospel. We “will call upon YAHUAH, who is worthy to be praised” (Psalm 18:3), “stand firm in the faith” (1 Corinthians 16:13), “and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters” (Revelation 14:7). The Law (Torah) of Aluahim, and most specifically the fourth commandment, will be the most prevalent topic in these end-times. The remnant of Aluahim’s people will cry aloud, “Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8)!
That Rest
This specific commandment, the keeping of the seventh day Sabbath, has both literal and spiritual implications. There is the weekly day of rest (Seventh-day Sabbath), along with the ultimate day of rest, when Aluahim’s obedient children reign with Him for a thousand-years. This is “that rest”, the Apostle Paul tells us to work towards. We read from the letter to the Hebrews,
Hebrews 4:1-11: Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into His rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as He said, As I have sworn in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And Aluahim did rest the seventh day from all His works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into My rest. Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Again, He limited a certain day, saying in David, Today, after so long a time; as it is said, Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts. For if Yahushua had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest to the people of Aluahim. For he that is entered into His rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as Aluahim did from His. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
We read some interesting points made in this passage. First, we are told to fear YAHUAH, in that we should strive to not fall short of keeping His covenant (keeping of the Torah). Then we read, that it is the ones who believe that enters into Aluahim’s rest. Next, we read that it is those that are of the unbelieving that do not enter into Aluahim’s rest.
Lastly, the writer purposely links the seventh day of creation week to this rest. Paul alludes to this rest being Aluahim’s Sabbath that occurred after the six days of creation, but knows it cannot be that actual week (of creation) as it has already passed. This is why he writes, “although the works were finished from the foundation of the world”. This seventh-day Sabbath rest has not happened yet, hence saying “there remains therefore a rest”. And most importantly, we are told to, “labor therefore to enter into that rest”.
There are many false beliefs to what Aluahim’s rest is, but this passage is clearly telling us, that this rest is none other than Aluahim’s second seventh-day Sabbath since the creation of the world. We will have to look at the words used for rest in both the Hebrew and Greek for more clarity.
The Hebrew word for this rest is Strong’s Concordance number 4496, menuchah: resting place, comforting, permanent. This word menuchah specifically refers to YAHUAH’S rest or resting place (“My rest”, as He says in Psalm 95:11).
The Greek word used for this rest is Strong’s Concordance number 2663, katapausis: rest, resting, rest, dwelling, habitation, (in the Old Testament of the rest attained by the settlement in Canaan).
Both the Hebrew and Greek word used for rest concerning this particular principle refers to a permanent or everlasting dwelling place. This particular rest that Yahushua was preaching in the city of David that Paul wrote about was not our seventh-day Sabbath rest which occurs after six days of work, but refers to the ultimate rest with Aluahim in His dwelling place – in His Kingdom. We can see that this same rest used in the letter to the Hebrews was used by Moses to describe the promised land of Canaan in which YAHUAH granted His people. We read,
Deuteronomy 12:9-11: For you are not as yet come to the rest (menuchah) and to the inheritance, which YAHUAH your Aluahim is giving you. But when you go over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which YAHUAH your Aluahim is giving you to inherit, and when He gives you rest (nuach) from all your enemies round about, so that you dwell in safety; Then there shall be a place which YAHUAH your Aluahim shall choose to cause His name to dwell there…
Moses purposely uses two separate words for rest in this passage. The first word rest (menuchah) describes the permanent dwelling place of the land of Canaan – Yasharal’s “inheritance”. The second word rest (nuach), refers to a period of time when they will not have as much warfare. In relation to this topic, we can see the usage of the word menuchah when king David speaks about building a house for YAHUAH. We read,
1 Chronicles 28:2: Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in my heart to build a house of rest (menuchah) for the ark of the covenant of YAHUAH, and for the footstool of our Aluahim, and had made ready for the building.
Notice how the New American Standard Bible translates menuchah in this Scripture,
1 Chronicles 28:2 (NASB): …I had intended to build a permanent home (menuchah) for the ark of the covenant of YAHUAH…
This word rest used by both Moses in Deuteronomy 12:9, and Paul in Hebrews 4:1-11, refers to a permanent home for Aluahim’s people. The promised land of Canaan (where old Yarushalam was built) is referred to as the rest that Aluahim gave Yasharal. It was a permanent dwelling place for both Aluahim’s people and the Spirit of YAHUAH. The Scriptures end up telling us that Aluahim did not allow David (a man of war) to build His home, but instead worked through king Solomon, in a time of peace, to construct this permanent place of rest for the ark of the covenant. This typology of rest being the promised land, is used in the letter to the Hebrews to describe the rest that Aluahim’s children will once again inherit in New Canaan (and the city of New Yarushalam). This rest, or permanent dwelling place has not yet come, and this is why Paul ends with this declaration,
“There remains therefore a rest (katapausis) to the people of Aluahim.”- Hebrews 4:9
Aluahim’s Week
This rest that is yet to come for YAHUAH’S people will be on the seventh day of YAHUAH’S week, and therefore it is on a Sabbath day. According to Scripture, and numerous prophesies, the spring of 2032 A.D. will mark 6,000 years since the creation of man. This means it has been nearly six full days and nights of YAHUAH’S week. This date, whether correct or not, should open the eyes of the sleeping, and bring a sense of urgency to those striving to enter into YAHUAH’S rest. We have yet a short time, and the Mashiach tells us, “Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41).
You might ask, what is YAHUAH’S timeline, and how do you come up with 6,000 years? Well, counting the generations (all recorded in Scripture) from Adam to the death of Yahushua HaMashiach, we arrive at 4,000 years. 31 A.D. (the year of Mashiach’s crucifixion based on the 70 weeks prophecy) plus 2,000 years, is 2032 A.D., and that would equate to 6,000 years all together. Remember, the Hebrew calendar ends and begins in the spring, so 2,000 years fully completed after Mashiach’s death will be in the Roman Gregorian calendar year of 2032, in the month of April.
Aluahim’s timeline is mentioned by both Peter and Moses. We read,
2 Peter 3:8: But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with YAHUAH as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Psalm 90:4: For a thousand years in Your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Below, I have given an outline of Aluahim’s week (seven days in total). I have given the time era in parenthesis, and along with a Prophet of its time.

“He shall deliver you in six troubles [six thousand years], yes, in seven [the thousand year reign; millennial Sabbath] no evil shall touch you.” – Job 5:19
Two Prophecies
Now, there are over 15 prophecies that point to the return of Mashiach in the year of AD 2032 (2,000 years after his death). Take note, that this article will not discuss the 70 weeks prophecy in Daniel that pin points exactly when the Mashiach was to arrive, become baptized, preach the everlasting gospel, and then sacrifice his life for us (refer to Daniel chapter 9). This is how we came up with the year 2032. By using the 70 weeks prophecy in Daniel which tells us exactly when Mashiach would die (AD 31), and from there adding two-thousand years (astro-lunar-solar years).
In this article, we will take a deeper look at two specific stories recorded in the Gospels that hold multiple hidden messages. Mind you, every story in Scripture is either a typology, and or a prophesy.
The first story is the parable of the good Samaritan. This story was meant to both teach the Hebrews how to treat their fellow neighbor, and provide clues in the prophetic timeline of Mashiach’s return. This story can be read in the book of Luke, chapter 10. We read,
Luke 10:30-35: And Yahushua answering said, A certain man went down from Yarushalam to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.
In prophecy, the man that was robbed, beaten, and left half dead represents those who have experienced the perils of this world. The evil of this world has left them broken and in need of a Savior. At their lowest point in life they pray their heart out to Aluahim and ask to be led to the Truth.
The priest represents the false prophets and teachers of today’s time. Who feed themselves monetarily, but do not feed the flock spiritually (refer to Ezekiel 34:1-4). These are the “wolves in sheep’s clothing” as Yahushua warns us about (refer to Matthew 7:15).
The Levite represents the professed follower of Mashiach who brushes off the spiritually needy (neglecting their duty to share the gospel), and pompously struts himself around other professed followers of Mashiach claiming to be holy. Both the false prophet (represented as the priest) and the professed follower of Mashiach (represented as the Levite) cannot lead him to the Truth, because they themselves do not possess it.
The Samaritan represents the Mashiach, the only one who can heal our wounds (forgive our sins), and lead us to peace. The oil represents the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit), and the wine represents the everlasting covenant. Only Yahushua our king and high priest can forgive our sins, baptize us with fire (the Holy Spirit), and grant us everlasting life.
The Inn represents the Body of Mashiach (church of Aluahim), whose duty is to tend to the lost sheep until Mashiach returns. Now, notice what the Samaritan (the man representing Yahushua) says to the Inn-keeper,
Luke 10:35: And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.
Ellicott’s commentary on this verse says,
“Two pence (i.e. two denarii), according to Matthew 20:2 the average wages of a laborer for two days; or, taking the estimate of Mark 6:37, enough for a meal of twenty-five men. It was therefore a sufficient and liberal provision for all probable contingencies”.
In prophesy, a day is a year,
Ezekiel 4:6: I have appointed you each day for a year.
Numbers 14:34: Each day for a year.
But, in YAHUAH’S timeline a day is a thousand years. Therefore two pence (representing two days of labor or two-thousand years of labor) is the amount of time the Samaritan (representing Mashiach) would return to gather his loved ones. All of Mashiach’s disciples who labored in the field, and bear fruit, will be rewarded when he returns, hence he saying, “when I come again, I will repay you”. Remember, Yahushua reminds us, “And, behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me” (Revelation 22:12).
The second story is of the demons cast into the pigs. Yahushua arrives in the country of the Gadarenes, and when he steps off the ship, he meets an unclothed man living amongst the tombs with an unclean spirit. No man could bound or tame him, for he was strong yet in much pain; crying, and cutting himself with stones. When Yahushua approached him, the unclean spirit knew exactly whom Yahushua was, and became afraid. Yahushua said unto the unclean spirit, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit” (Mark 5:8). The unclean spirits “besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep” (Luke 8:31). This is what happens next,
Mark 5:12-13: And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them, And forthwith Yahushua gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
In prophesy, the demonized man represents the man of sin or anti-Messiah (whom is the pope of the RCC); naked (or not wearing a robe of righteousness), strong (in means of political and religious power), living amongst the dead (literally and spiritually), and cutting him-self (constantly in spiritual torment and practicing pagan occult worship). Interestingly, Mark and Luke speak of “one” demonized man, but Matthew tells us there were “two” demonized men. This is because one was more prominent than the other in speech or act, and so was remembered and specified, while the other was either forgotten of left unnoticed. The second man whom was not mentioned by the other two gospels represents the black pope (known as the Jesuit General). He is in the shadows of the Roman pontiff (the white pope), and often times left unnoticed. John warns us,
1 John 4:3: …this is that spirit of anti-Messiah, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
The unclean spirits or devils are Satan’s angels working in the hearts and minds of the wicked. The prophetic number of the pigs (an unclean animal) of being two-thousand, represents the amount of time these devils would be allowed to continue their deceiving work. In Gadarenes, the time was not yet for Yahushua to send the wicked angels to the deep (or bottomless pit), but when he returns, he will indeed bound Satan and all his angels in the prison of the bottomless pit. We read,
Revelation 20:1-3: And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand-years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nation no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
For almost two-thousand years, Satan and his angels have been building up empires (Beasts), and creating false religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc.). The man of sin is simply being used by unclean spirits to deceive the world into worshipping the Devil. Paul tells us, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” (2 Thessalonians 2:3). This time has arrived, for the identity of the man of sin has been known for the past few hundred years.
He (the pope), along with his Jesuit General (black pope), controls the false religions of Mashiach (Abrahamic faiths as they call it). Every mainstream church (both Catholic and Protestant), synagogue, and mosque, is a sister to Babylon (the mother church in Vatican city), and like Yahushua commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man, the angel in John’s revelation heeds the warning, “…Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4). The pure religion of Mashiach has been unclean, full of leaven, and falsified for almost two thousand years. Yahushua knew this would happen, and this is why we are warned,
Revelation 18:4: Come out of Her [Babylon the Great], My people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues.
John 4:23-24: But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. Aluahim is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Thousand Year Reign
Our brother Paul begins his analogy in Hebrews chapter 4, but brings it all together at the end of chapter 11. He writes,
Hebrews 11:13-16: These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore Aluahim is not ashamed to be called their Aluahim, for He has prepared a city for them.
Paul plainly tells us that “that rest” in which he is referring to is heavenly. YAHUAH is currently working good works for each and every one of us, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working”, Says Yahushua (John 5:17). But the morning of YAHUAH’S Sabbath (seventh day of the week) is approaching, and His rest will be with His children who obey His commandments. We are told,
Psalm 94:12-13: Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O YAHUAH, and teaches him out of You Law; That You may give him rest (shawkat) from the days of adversity, until the pit be dug for the wicked.
The specific word in this passage used for rest is Strong’s Concordance number 8252, shaqat (shaw-kat’): to be quiet or undisturbed.
See, this Psalm aligns perfectly with the end-time prophecies. It is telling us: that the Law of Aluahim is what separates the just (good) from the unjust (wicked), and that there will be a time period of undisturbed rest until the unjust (wicked) are resurrected unto judgment. See, throughout the ages, Aluahim’s children have endured trials and tribulations. We will finally be given rest from our persecutors, while communing with our Aluahim on the Sabbath day (the thousand-year reign). At the end of YAHUAH’S Sabbath (the thousand-year reign and rest with Aluahim), all the wicked (unjust), and along with Satan, will be resurrected. We are told,
Revelation 20:3: And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
After this undisturbed thousand-year rest from our adversaries, Satan will be let loose for just enough time to deceive the wicked one final time. He will deceive them into thinking that they can take the city (New Yarushalam) from the saints. Aluahim will allow all the unjust (wicked) to believe this lie. Paul writes,
1 Thessalonians 2:11-12: And for this cause Aluahim shall send them strong delusions, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
All the wicked will be allowed to believe the lie that Satan can take the Kingdom from Aluahim. But instead, as Paul puts it, they are “damned”. We are told, “… and fire came down from Aluahim out of heaven, and devoured them” (Revelation 20:9). “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15). This is the “pit” that the Psalmist writes about. These people dug their own pit by rejecting the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit) time and time again. These are the people that “had pleasure in unrighteousness”. And to all of these who are disobedient, not keeping Aluahim’s Law, even His seventh-day Sabbath, YAHUAH says,
Psalm 95:11: Unto whom I swear in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest (menuchah).
No, they will not enter into heaven to reign with Yahushua nor will they live in the paradise on earth after the thousand-year reign (millennial Sabbath). YAHUAH provides us all with much evidence of His existence, and gives us ample opportunities to accept the Truth, and turn away from sin. He has given the human race approximately 6,000 years to keep His covenant; His ten commandments, ordinances, and appointed times.
YAHUAH’S Law and His calendar is His mark (refer to Ezekiel 20:19-20, Deuteronomy 6:8), and YAHUAH’S Sabbath, the lunar Sabbath based on the full new moon, has and will be the most disputed commandment until Mashiach returns. It is this specific commandment – the fourth commandment – that many will lose their eternal lives over. People who accept the mark of the Beast in order to save their temporal lives will lose their eternal lives. While able to buy and sell, because of receiving the mark of the Beast (which is worshipping according to the Roman Gregorian calendar), they will be denying their Creator and forfeiting their right to His Kingdom. Yahushua tells us,
Matthew 16:25: For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it.
During the thousand-year reign (the ultimate Sabbath rest for Aluahim’s people), the wicked (unjust) will be resting in their graves. Satan also will be forced to obey Aluahim’s Law (Torah) by resting in his prison (the bottomless pit) for that entire day (the Sabbath day). The resurrection and judgment of the unjust will be after the thousand-year reign (Aluahim’s Sabbath day), and on the first day of Aluahim’s week.
On this very same day (the first day of Aluahim’s week), YAHUAH will once again get back to His creation work. First, He will destroy everyone who partakes in the second resurrection (the wicked or unjust), “…and fire came down from Aluahim out of heaven, and devoured them” (Revelation 20:9). Then, Aluahim will create a new heaven and a new earth. “And I saw a new heaven and new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, New Yarushalam, coming down from Aluahim out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband (Revelation 21:1-2).
Once again, Aluahim’s people are promised to inherit a land or permanent dwelling place for both them and Aluahim Himself. John writes,
Revelation 21:3: And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of Aluahim is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Aluahim Himself shall be with them, and be their Aluahim.
The Appointed Marriage Supper
This great controversy between Satan and his children, and YAHUAH and His children, has been enduring for almost 6,000 years in the eyes of man, but just shy of one full week in the eyes of Aluahim. We are told, “and the Aluahim of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly” (Romans 16:20). The morning of Aluahim’s Sabbath is approaching. And as we are told in Leviticus 23, the seventh-day Sabbath (the fourth commandment) is the first of the moedim (appointed times). YAHUAH says,
Leviticus 23:1-3: Speak unto the children of Yasharal, and say unto them, Concerning the appointed times (moedim) of YAHUAH, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are My appointed times. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; you shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of YAHUAH in all your dwellings.
Everyone who chases after righteousness; keeps YAHUAH’S commandments, statutes, and ordinances (the Torah), will no longer hunger nor thirst (this has both a spiritual and literal meaning). We will no longer be weary from laboring for YAHUAH, nor persecuted or outcasted. Says the Messenger,
Revelation 19:9: …Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the LAMB.
On this Appointed Time of rest and worship, we will all eat and drink, and give thanks to our Aluahim for granting us His Salvation to help us overcome the world. We will worship Him on this glorious lunar Sabbath – based on the full new moon (refer to Isaiah 66:23) – and finally, fully rest in Mashiach. Let us therefore, look forward to The day of YAHUAH, and strive to enter into His rest that has yet to come. Concerning this rest (paradise), the prophet writes,
Isaiah 11:9-10: They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of YAHUAH [hence, the Law written on our heart), as the waters cover the sea. And in that day [the millennial Sabbath] there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and His rest (menuchah) shall be glorious.
