Saturday and Sunday, Tradition or Sabbath (Shabbat)
We cannot put our trust in anyone or anything other than Aluahim’s Word. Paul warns us,
Colossians 2:8: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Mashiach.
Most countries around the world observe Sundays and Saturdays (the first and seventh day of the Roman Gregorian calendar week) as days of rest. And every Christian country views Sunday as a day of worship (attend church service). Some states, provinces, and labor forces have even created laws to protect anyone from working on Sundays. And for Saturdays, modern Jews along with some Christian denominations, proclaim that it is the true Biblical Sabbath. The ‘weekend’ (Saturday and Sunday) rest and worship cycle has become a rooted tradition. But the important question is, is Sunday (the first day of the Gregorian calendar) or even Saturday (the seventh day of the Gregorian calendar) the Biblical Sabbath, or are they just another pagan tradition made by man?
Satan has propagated that the week-end is on Saturdays and Sundays of a seven-day continuous weekly cycle. And he has made it tradition to rest on Saturdays (Saturn’s day), and then worship on “Christian” Sundays (day of the sun).
We will soon find out that the current calendar system with the continuous weekly cycle from Sunday through Saturday is another way that the Adversary has gotten us to defile YAHUAH’S holy seventh-day Sabbath.
We must never forget that Satan does everything in his power to get us to go against YAHUAH. Satan has managed to defile every day by naming each day after a pagan deity. YAHUAH tells us,
Exodus 23:13: And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other deities, neither let it be heard out of your mouth.
It is then, of no coincidence that every time we say which day of the week it is (in the current Roman calendar) we are disobeying our Creator. Let’s take a quick look at the meaning of each day in the Roman calendar week. These definitions come straight out of the Dictionary.
Sunday (Day 1) or in Old English Sunnandæg ‘day of the sun’, translation of Latin dies solis. Compare with Dutch Zondag and German Sonntag.
Monday (Day 2) or in Old English Mōnandæg ‘day of the moon’, translation of late Latin lunae dies; compare with Dutch Maandag and German Montag.
Tuesday (Day 3) or in Old English Tīwesdæg ‘day of Tīw’, a Germanic deity of war and the sky; translation of Latin dies Marti ‘day of Mars’, the god Tīw being equated with the Roman deity Mars. Compare with Swedish Tisdag.
Wednesday (Day 4) or Old English Wōdnesdæg ‘day of Odin’, named after the Germanic deity Odin or Woden, the supreme god; translation of late Latin Mercurii dies, Odin being equated with the Roman deity Mercury. Compare with Dutch Woensdag.
Thursday (Day 5) or Old English Thu(n)resdæg ‘day of thunder’, named after Thunor or Thor, the Germanic deity of thunder; translation of late Latin Jovis dies ‘day of Jupiter’, Thor being equated with the Roman deity Jupiter. Compare with Dutch Donderdag and German Donnerstag.
Friday (Day 6) or Old English Frīgedæg ‘day of Frigga’, named after the Germanic deity Frigga, wife of the supreme god Odin and goddess of married love; translation of late Latin Veneris dies ‘day of Venus’, Frigga being equated with the Roman deity of love, Venus. Compare with Dutch Vrijdag and German Freitag.
Saturday (Day 7) or Old English Sætern(es)dæg, translation of Latin Saturni dies ‘day of Saturn’, the ancient Roman deity of agriculture. Compare with Dutch Zaterdag.
Our Creator never gave names to the days of the week. The names of each day of our Creator’s calendar should just be numbered. For example: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, and so on. It is obvious to a student of Scripture which day YAHUAH’S Sabbath is on. All we got to do is flip to Exodus chapter 20 and read the ten commandments. The fourth commandment states:
Exodus 20:8: Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shall you labor, and do all your work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of YAHUAH your Aluahim…
To the unlearned mind, one would simply think that the true Biblical Sabbath is on Saturdays – the seventh day of the Roman Gregorian calendar week. But the current calendar system is not the same calendar that YAHUAH originally created for mankind to use.
Seventh-Day Lunar Sabbath
Out of all ten commandments, this is the only one that begins with, “Remember”. Why does it start with “Remember”? Because,
Lamentations 2:6: He [YAHUAH] has violently taken away His tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: He has destroyed His places of the assembly: YAHUAH has caused the solemn Appointed Times (moed) and Sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and has despised in the indignation of His anger the king and the priest.
Notice that YAHUAH said that He caused both the Appointed Times (moed) and Sabbaths to be forgotten. He purposely joins the two, because the Appointed Times (moed) along with the seventh day Sabbath are all considered to be Appointed Times or Moedim (mentioned in Leviticus 23) in which are all regulated by the phases of the moon.
The Scriptures plainly tell us that,
“He (YAHUAH) made the moon to mark the Appointed Times (moed); the sun knows when to set.” – Psalm 104:19
“Then Aluahim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and Appointed Times (moed), and for days and years.” – Genesis 1:14
Most translations of both Psalm 104:19 and Genesis 1:14 will use the words “seasons” or “festivals”. The original Hebrew word used to describe what YAHUAH Aluahim made the moon for is Strong’s Concordance number 4150, moed (mo-ade): appointed time, place, meeting.
And YAHUAH makes it very clear in Leviticus 23 what His Appointed Times (Moed) are. YAHUAH begins with,
Leviticus 23:2: Speak unto the children of Yasharal, and say unto them, Concerning the Appointed Times (moed) of YAHUAH, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are My Appointed Times (moed):
YAHUAH then goes on to tell us that the seventh day Sabbath is one of these Appointed Times (moed), and in fact is the very first one mentioned. YAHUAH further says,
Leviticus 23:3: Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; you shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of YAHUAH in all your dwellings.
Then YAHUAH lists: the Feast of Pesach (Passover) which includes Matzah (Unleavened Bread), and Reshith (First Fruits), and the Feast of Shabuot (Pentecost), and Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets), and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), and the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles), as all His Appointed Times (moed). Refer to Leviticus chapter 23. The seventh-day Sabbath is both the fourth commandment (out of the ten commandments) and the very first Appointed Times of worship commanded by YAHUAH in which all the Appointed Times (Moedim) are supposed to be based on the phases of the moon.
Any student of Scripture can read the ten commandments and say, “Ah Ha, YAHUAH’S seventh day Sabbath is on Saturdays”. But Scripture plainly tells us that the Seventh day Sabbath is an Appointed Time (moed), and Scripture plainly tells us that the moon was made to mark these Appointed Times (refer to Psalm 104:190). So this means what YAHUAH caused us to forget, was how the moon (Full New Moon in specific) gives us the start of the months and determines the weeks, Appointed Times, and seventh-day Sabbaths. YAHUAH’S calendar in which the Yahudim of Yahushua’s time observed was replaced with a continuous seven-day cycle that was made up by Rome (Babylon the Great). This seven-day continuous cycle has become a pagan tradition in which the entire world now observes. In The History and Meaning of the Week, we read,
“The invention of the continuous week was therefore one of the most significant breakthroughs in human beings’ attempts to break away from being prisoners of nature [or in other words the moon] and create a social world of their own.”

And, in the article Shawui Sabbath, we read,
“Most theologians and some scholars assume that mainstream Jewish society, at the time of Jesus [Yahushua]… was practicing a fixed seven-day week which was the same as the modern fixed [cycling planetary designations] seven-day week. This is extremely doubtful. The change, from a lunar to a fixed week, was brought about by the power and influence of Rome. As long as the Nazarenes held power in Jerusalem [Yarushalam], all Roman practices and customs, including that of the consecutive week, were held at bay.”

The Roman Beast power was prophesied to “Change appointed times and Laws” (Daniel 7:25). YAHUAH’S Law (Torah) and His times (astro-lunar-solar calendar) have been made to be forgotten. The Psalmist writes,
Psalm 74;3,7,8 (Wycliffe Bible 1378): How great are the things the enemy did wickedly in the Holy (Qodash) place. They hated your majestic presence in the midst of your solemnities. They placed their signs and banners on the highest places… … They burned with fire your sanctuary; they befouled the tabernacle of your name on earth. The kindred of them said together in their hearts; make we all the Appointed Times (moed) of Aluahim to cease from the earth.
When Yahushua walked the earth he rebuked the Pharisees on all types of subjects, but he never once corrected the dates in which both the annual Feasts (Moedim) and weekly seventh-day Sabbaths were kept. That is because Biblical Historians and Theologists tell us that,
“The [early] Hebrews employed lunar seven-day weeks, which ended with special observances on the seventh day, but none the less were tied to the moon’s course.”

“It is a mistake to assume the ancient followers of Yeshua (Yahushua) … kept the modern week consisting of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They did not. Their week was a lunar week … At the time of the Messiah the observance of the weekly Sabbath was a national law for those in Judah [Yahudah]. All seven sects, including the Nazarenes and Osseaens, observed it … The Beni-Aumen [Nazarenes] observed the Sabbath according to the lunar quarters”

Yahushua kept all the Appointed Times (including the three Feasts and seventh-day Sabbath) in their appropriate seasons – based on the phases of the moon.
The consecutive seven-day week is not Scriptural. For those who believe that the continuous seven-day cycle has continued since creation, have been deceived. The seven-day consecutive week has changed many times throughout history and within multiple civilizations, including the Roman Empire in which we are still currently under. The Roman Julian Calendar once had eight days, so how could you even know if the current seventh day, what they call Saturday, is even the seventh day of the supposed “week” since the beginning of Creation? You don’t know, and it is far-fetched to believe such a thing. There is only one way to know when YAHUAH’S Sabbath is, and that is based on the moon, the lesser light that rules the night, and was given to us for the Appointed Times.
A person who has been deceived into believing in a consecutive seven-day cycle, and that the Yahudim in Mashiach’s time kept a continuous seven-day week, must also believe that it was purely coincidental that a seventh-day Sabbath happen to fall on the day after Passover the year Mashiach was crucified.
We all know that Mashiach rose the first day of the week (refer to Mark 16:9), and this is according to a lunar week, not a consecutive seven-day Roman week. Therefore, the day before Mashiach’s resurrection was the seventh-day of the lunar week (refer to Matthew 28:1). The Passover is always on the 14th of the lunar month and is always followed by a seventh-day Sabbath, which is also the first day of Matzah (Unleavened Bread) (refer to John 19:31, Leviticus 23:6). The first day of Matzah is always on the 15th of Abib. And the 15th day of each lunar month is always the second Sabbath of the month.
The reason why the seventh-day Sabbath fell on the first day of Matzah the year Mashiach was crucified, is because every single year since Matzah was established by YAHUAH, it falls on the second lunar Sabbath of the month. That being the 15th day of the lunar month. The lunar Sabbaths will always be on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th of each lunar month.
Earlier we read a quote from the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, that they recognize that the seventh-day Sabbath is supposed to be regulated by the phases of the moon. Modern Judaism, which is part of Babylon the Great, has wrongfully separated the seventh-day Sabbath from the moon’s cycle. Although, they have kept the rest of their feast days according to the moon. Mind you, I say “their” because the modern Jewish feast days are not in sync with the proper phases of the moon. Their day begins at sunset and the beginning of their lunar month begins with the crescent moon. Both of these practices originated from Babylon.
What the Sabbath Was Made For
When it came to the seventh-day Sabbath Yahushua never corrected the Pharisees and chief priests of the time it should be kept but rather, he corrected them on what the Sabbath was made for. For example:
Yahushua studied the Scriptures on the Sabbath,
Luke 4:16: And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
Yahushua fed the hungry on the Sabbath,
Matthew 12:1: At that time Yahushua went on the Sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were hungry, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
Yahushua preached on the Sabbath,
Luke 6:6: And it came to pass also on another Sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught.
Yahushua healed many people on the Sabbath,
Luke 6:10: And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth your hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
Yahushua tells us,
Matthew 12:12: it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days.
YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath is a day that can be used for resting, healing, eating, family time, feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, preaching, studying the Scriptures, watching or listening to sermons, singing praises, and giving thanks to our Creator. It is a day to reflect on the blessings and miracles that YAHUAH has done in our lives. It is a time to focus our attention on His creation, and to stop all worldly endeavors; working for money or self, buying and selling (refer to Nehemiah 13:19, Amos 8:5), and all things that pertain to this dying world. It is not a time for burdensome work such as: preparing large meals (baking and cooking), heavy house or garden work, and servile work in which you get paid for (i.e. your job or career).
This is why the sixth day of the week is referred to as a “prep day”. During this day (prep day), we should prepare the majority of out food for the Sabbath, “bake that which you will bake today, and seethe (boil or cook) that you will seethe (boil or cook) today” (Exodus 16:23). We can also use this day to finish up all banking or finances from the work week (refer to Amos 8:5, Matthew 6:24).
I must mention that it is important for you to learn for yourselves what you feel is good or not good to do on the Sabbath day. I have noticed that there are groups of people out there that have set many restrictions for this day by telling people that they cannot even bathe on the Sabbath, or cut vegetables on the Sabbath, or heat up your prepared meals on the Sabbath, or do any household chores on the Sabbath. These are the type of laws or burdens put unto man by man. This is what Yahushua was speaking about when he said,
Matthew 23:4: For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
The most important practice when it comes to keeping YAHUAH’S Sabbath, is to not buy or sell. We cannot serve both YAHUAH and money, or any materialism, or anything of this dying world. That is why He gives us the entire week – to earn money, spend money, and invest into our mortal lives.
Now let’s break down the meaning of the word Sabbath using the Hebrew Pictograph:
Shin ש: Picture of two teeth. Meaning: to eat.
Beyt ב: Picture of a tent floor plan. Meaning: home or family.
Taw ת: Picture of two sticks crossed. Meaning a mark or sign.
Sabbath (Shab – bawt) – Definition of the seventh Day Sabbath: On this Day we rest in our own homes and eat with our family, because this Day (the true lunar Sabbath) is a sign between YAHUAH and His children – Yasharal.
Evidence of Sabbath-Keeping After the Cross
During the time of Yahushua the Yahudim (Jews) were putting traditions above Aluahim’s Law (Torah); ten commandments, ordinances, and appointed times. They were condemning Yahushua for doing good on the Sabbath, while they were defiling it by putting traditions above Aluahim’s Law. We can clearly see this example in the book of John. Yahushua says,
John 7:22-23: Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and you on the Sabbath day circumcise a man. If a man on the Sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are you angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the Sabbath day?
This is why Yahushua also said,
Mark 7:7-9: Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of YAHUAH, you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things you do. And He said unto them, Full well you reject the commandment of YAHUAH, that you may keep your own tradition.
Yahushua did not come to abolish the Law (Torah) – appointed times, ordinances, and ten commandments, as most “Christians” will try to lead you to believe, but Yahushua came to fulfill the Law. As in he came to keep it and show us how to keep it. Yahushua says,
For verily I say unto you, until heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled. – Matthew 5:18:
Did Yahushua fulfill the Law (Torah) on the cross? No, he did not. The fulfillment Yahushua was speaking about is his second coming. This is why he said, “until heaven and earth pass”. This is as clear as day. Yahushua even mentions the seventh-day Sabbath (fourth commandment) in his speech about the last days,
But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day. – Matthew 24:20
And decades after Calvary, John was given a vision while on the island of Patmos. He writes,
Revelation 1:10: I was in the Spirit on YAHUAH’S day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.
John was blessed to be given in such detail the events that would lead up to the second coming of Mashiach. The day he received this revelation, was while he was observing YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath which is often referred to as YAHUAH’S day (see Matt 12:8). And when it comes to the rest of the Appointed Times, Yahushua’s disciples plainly kept them all. Paul tells us,
1 Corinthians 5:8: Therefore let us keep the feast [speaking of Passover], not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
And when all the disciples were gathered together to prophecy, it was while they were observing Pentecost (Shabuot), which was many years after Yahushua’s death. We read,
Acts 2:1: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
They were all in one place because Pentecost is a day of rest and worship (refer to Leviticus 23:15-21). YAHUAH would have not blessed them with gifts of the Ruach if they were going against His commandments, that is, if Yahushua supposedly came to do away with the Appointed Times (which is part of the Torah).
YAHUAH plainly tells us,
“I am YAHUAH, I change not“ – Malachi 3:6
YAHUAH and His Law (Torah) has not changed or been done away with. What has changed is the calendar. In various quotes, we read,
“The [astro-lunar-solar] calendar was used by all the original disciples of Yeshua [Yahushua]. This original Nazarene lunar-solar calendar was supplanted by a Roman “planetary week” and calendar in 135 C.E. when the ‘Bishops of the Circumcision’ (i.e. legitimate Nazarene successors to Yeshua) were displaced from Jerusalem [Yarushalam]. This began a three-hundred year controversy concerning the true calendar and the correct Sabbath.”

“This change from the lunisolar to a fixed solar calendar occurred in Rome during the repressive measures which were enacted against ALL JEWISH customs … during the reign of Emperor Hadrian. With the fall of the Nazarene headquarters… at Jerusalem, this new Roman calendar quickly spread throughout ‘Christendom.’ This new calendar not only replaced yearly festival dates such as Passover, but it also revamped the concept of the week and its seventh day.”

“Under the reign of Constantius the persecutions of the Jews reached such a height that … the computation of the [lunar-solar] calendar [was] forbidden under pain of severe punishment.”

By the 3rd Century A.D., many of the Yahudim (Jews) including the Natsarim (devout followers of Mashiach) were pressured to abandon the astro-lunar-solar calendar and follow the continuous weekly cycle of the pagan Roman calendar. And,
“This intimate connection between the week and the month was soon dissolved. It is certain that the week soon followed a development of its own, and it became the custom, without paying any regard to the days of the month (i.e. the lunisolar month) … so that the New Moon no longer coincided with the first day of the month.”

“The connection of the Sabbath with lunar phases, however, was (later) discarded by the Israelites.”

“It should be noted that the oldest dated Christian inscription to employ a planetary designation [Sunday – Saturday, unbroken cycle of weeks] belongs to the year 269 A.D.”

On March 7, 321 Roman Emperor Constantine issued a civil decree making Sunday a day of rest. It only took a few generations to deceive many of the Yahudim (Jews) into believing that the Roman Saturday (Saturn’s day) was the seventh-day Sabbath. Some Yahudim rested and worshipped on Saturdays (seventh day of the pagan Roman calendar) and some which were Christian converts, rested and worshipped on Sundays (first day of the pagan Roman calendar). Those who kept the Roman Saturday as the seventh-day Sabbath were unknowingly defiling YAHUAH’S Sabbath, because they were not keeping the Sabbath in its season – based on the phases of the moon. Tertullian, a 3rd Century pagan turned Catholic Priest is quoted saying,
“We shall be taken for Persians [Mithraists], perhaps… The reason for this, I suppose, is that it is known that we pray towards the east … Likewise, if we devote the day of the Sun to festivity (from a far different reason from Sun worship), we are in a second place from those who devote the day of Saturn, themselves also deviating by way of a Jewish custom of which they are ignorant.”

The main goal of the Roman Beast system was and is to totally eradicate YAHUAH’S Law (Torah) and calendar, and deceive people into becoming pagan idol worshipers. The Adversary did this by changing the calendar, and by instilling fear into anyone who held on to the true teachings of Yahushua. Constantine the Great was used by the Adversary to accomplish a lot in a short time. During Constantine’s reign, he enforced the Roman calendar, helped make trinitarianism canon law at the Council of Nicaea, introduced Sunday law and allowed Saturday Sabbath for Jews, and denounced all Yahudim (Jewish) practices (i.e. lunar Sabbaths and Feast days).
But as prophecy tells us, YAHUAH kept alive a remnant of the true followers of Mashiach, whom kept the true lunar Sabbath (based on the full moon). John the Revelator writes,
Revelation 12:6: Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by Aluahim, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
Prophecy also tells us, that this time period of 1,260 years was just the beginning of what the Scriptures call, “the Great Tribulation”. A Profession Of Faith From The Church Of Constantinople in the year 325 C.E. (A.D.) Under The Emperor Constantine:
“I renounce all customs, rites, legalisms. Unleavened breads & sacrifices of lambs of the Hebrews, and all other FEASTS of the Hebrews, sacrifices, prayers, aspersions, purifications, sanctifications and propitiations and fasts, and NEW MOONS, AND SABBATHS, and superstitions, and hymns and chants and observances and Synagogues, and the food and drink of The Hebrews; in one word, I renounce everything Jewish, EVERY LAW, rite and custom and if afterwards I shall wish to deny and return to Jewish superstition, or shall be found eating with The Jews, or feasting with them, or secretly conversing and condemning the Christian religion instead of openly confuting them and condemning their vain faith, then let the trembling of Gehazi cleave to me, as well as the legal punishments to which I acknowledge myself liable. And may I be anathema in the world to come, and may my soul be set down with Satan and the devils.”

Shortly after the Council of Nicaea (325 A.D.) the Council of Laodicea (363 A.D.) declared that all true Sabbath keepers (based on the astro-lunar-solar calendar) were to work on YAHUAH’S true Sabbath, and keep the pagan Roman Sunday or Saturday as their rest day. Most professed Saturday Sabbath keepers have been deceived into believing that the Council of Laodicea, Canon 29 stated:
Christians shall not Judaize and be idle on Saturday, but shall work on that day; but the Lord’s Day they shall especially honor, and, as being Christians, shall, if possible, do no work on that day. If however, they are found Judaizing, they shall be shut out from Christ.

But according to the Catholic bishop Karl J. von Hefele, in his History of the Councils of the Church from the Original Documents, states that the word “Saturday” (dies Saturni) does not exist in either the Greek nor Latin text. Rather, the English word “Saturday” was translated in place of the word Sabbato – meaning Sabbath. It reads as follows:
Quod non oportet Christianos Judaizere et otiare in Sabbato, sed operari in eodem die. Preferentes autem in veneratione Dominicum Diem si vacre voluerint, ut Christiani hoc faciat; quod si reperti fuerint Judaizere Anathema sint a Christo.

To this very day, both the modern religion of Judaism along with a few “Christian” denominations (i.e. Seventh Day Baptists and Seventh Day Adventists) have been deceived into keeping Saturday the seventh day according to the pagan Roman calendar as their Sabbath. But Saturday Sabbath is no different than Sunday Sabbath, because YAHUAH’S seventh-day Sabbath is based on the phases of the moon (new month starting with a full moon and not a crescent moon).
Below, are a couple of quotes regarding both the introduction of the planetary week and the start of Saturday Sabbath. We read:
“Julius Caesar’s conquest of Egypt in the 1st century BC introduced this planetary week to the Roman Empire… Since the astrological and Jewish weeks were both seven days long, by the 1st century AD the day of Saturn had become identified with the Jewish Sabbath. After Christianity became the state religion, the Church integrated both cycles to produce our present week, used also by Jews and Muslims”

“…There was a distinct break between the Old Testament requirements… dealing with the Sabbath worship… They [Rome] wanted to show that Christianity was distinct from Judaism… The other thing that we should remember, too, is that our calendar that we follow [Roman Gregorian calendar], including Seventh-day Adventists, is not only a calendar that was devised by the Catholic Church, but also it is a calendar that’s based upon the solar year, not the lunar year. The Jewish [Yahudim] calendar that was observed in the time of Christ [Messiah] follows a lunar [astro-lunar-solar] calendar… So the great irony is that even the Seventh-day Adventists themselves are not worshipping on exactly the same Sabbath day as the Jews [Yahudim] of the time of Christ [Messiah], because it is several days off now having switched [from] following the lunar calendar.”

The rest of Christendom has been duped into thinking that Sunday is the new rest and worship day. This calendar deception has been going on for over 1,700 years, but YAHUAH is now allowing us to remember His calendar and Appointed Times.
The Roman Catholic church (Babylon the Great) has confessed in plain sight that YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath (based on the phases of the moon) has been replaced with their day of worship on their pagan calendar. Babylon the Great, that Harlot, says,
“She took the pagan Sunday and made it the Christian Sunday…and thus the pagan Sunday, dedicated to Balder, became the Christian Sunday sacred to Jesus.”

“The Bible says remember that thou keep holy the Sabbath day. The Catholic church says No! By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day [referring to the true Sabbath associated with the moon] and command you keep holy the first day of the week. And lo the entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the holy Catholic church.”

“Sunday is founded not on scripture, but on tradition, and is a distinctly Catholic institution.”

“The new testament makes no explicit mention that the apostles changed the day of worship, but we know it from tradition.”

“Protestants do not realize that by observing Sunday, they accept the authority of the spokesperson of the Church, the Pope.”

Take note that in the above quotes, not one time was the day Saturday mentioned but rather, “the Sabbath”. The Harlot knows that the Biblical Sabbath is supposed to be based on the phases of the moon (just as the Jewish Encyclopedia confesses). A clear example of purposely causing confusion (in which Babylon is proficient and doing) is when the decree (Cannon 29) actually says, “Sabbato”, but was later allowed to be transcribed as Saturday. During that time (first few Centuries A.D.) everyone knew when Sabbato (Sabbath) was. Due to the lack of knowledge and indoctrination, people have replaced the word “Sabbath” or “Sabbato” for Saturday.
Once again, neither Sunday nor Saturday on the pagan Roman calendar is YAHUAH’S seventh-day Sabbath. All Appointed Times including the seventh-day Sabbath are determined by the phases of the moon.
The Oxford English Dictionary says,
“The Jewish [Yahudim] festivals being regulated solely by the moon, may fall on any day of the [Roman] week.”
– Oxford English Dictionary, 1971 Edition, Vol. 2, “Pentecost.”
Following man’s traditions; all pagan holidays (i.e. Easter, Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah, etc.), Sunday worship, Saturday worship, worldly festivals, etc. are convenient. Most everybody participates, and nobody criticizes anyone for joining in on the festivities. On the other hand, if we do not participate in these festivities, pagan holidays, and Roman weekend gatherings, then we risk condemnation. We are said to be no fun, boring, un-patriotic, un-cultured, unlearned, conspiracy theorists, and not spiritual (of course their idea of what spirituality is). YAHUAH’S true people will not dishonor Him in order to fit in or please the world. Our brother Paul knew exactly how the outcasted followers of Yahushua would be treated. And so, he writes to the Colossians,
Colossians 2:16-17: Let no man judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of any holy day, or of the New Moon, or of the Sabbath days. Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Mashiach.
Notice that Paul carefully mentions the New Moon (which the New Moon technically begins with a full moon) and Sabbath days. Then he clearly tells us that these holy days are a shadow of things to still come. All Appointed Times including the seventh-day Sabbath point to the return of our High Priest and King, Yahushua HaMashiach.
The duty of a devout follower of Mashiach is,
Acts 26:18: To open their eyes [speaking of Gentiles], and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto Aluahim, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in … [Yahushua HaMashiach].
If we truly love YAHUAH Aluahim with all our heart, soul, and mind, then we will study the Scriptures for ourselves, and not let man decipher the Word of Aluahim for us. When we put YAHUAH Aluahim first, He will then open our eyes to His forgotten Law (Torah) and correct times to keep His seventh-day Sabbath. We will adhere to the warning to,
Revelation 18:4: Come out of Her [Babylon The Great], My people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.
And,
2 Corinthians 2:17: Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says YAHUAH, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
It’s time to stop following the traditions of men, for we cannot keep YAHUAH’S holy Sabbath if we are following the pagan Roman calendar in which all three supposed “Abrahamic Faiths” (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) as they call it are following . We must stop worshiping Aluahim with vain words and start worshiping Him with our works by keeping the seventh day of His week (based on the phases of the moon) holy. We must,
Jeremiah 6:16: Stand you in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls.
YAHUAH made the moon for Appointed Times which includes His seventh-day Sabbath. So when we ignore the obvious light in the sky (referring to the moon) that tells us when to worship our Creator, we are then breaking YAHUAH’S commandments.
Yahushua tells us,
Matthew 5:19: Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of heaven.
Remember,
Mark 2:27: The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
We are not told to keep any day of our choosing as the Sabbath to YAHUAH. YAHUAH specifically gave us the seventh-day Sabbath to keep in its appointed time. And it is the moon that gives us this Appointed Time.
The seventh Day Sabbath is always on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, of the lunisolar calendar, and can fall on any day of the pagan Roman Gregorian calendar week.
Contrary to Babylonian time-keeping in which the modern Jews have adopted, it is the Full New Moon that begins each month of YAHUAH Aluahim’s months, and not the dark crescent moon.
