How To Be Baptized into Messiah
Baptism is no small matter. When we become baptized into the Body of Messiah, we are choosing to fight alongside our king in the greatest controversy of all time. The battle between good and evil, and the war for all souls. Yahushua said, “He that is not with me is against me” (Matthew 12:30). This is a huge statement, because it means that anyone who is not of the Body of Messiah is of the synagogue of Satan. Many people get dunked under water, then go about living the same material, worldly life as before. It is critical to understand how to properly become baptized, and what is truly happening when someone decides to become baptized into Messiah.
Getting immersed under water is a physical gesture showing our Heavenly Father, and perhaps other spectators, that we no longer desire to live for this world, but for Aluahim’s Kingdom.
Baptism is not a newer or so-called “New Testament” concept. Baptism or being cleansed by water is given to every generation throughout all-time who have lived a life of transgressing YAHUAH’S Law and are striving to now keep it. The children of Yasharal (Israel) were baptized by crossing the Red Sea, and they were in-need of a cleansing because they were enslaved in Egypt and forgot YAHUAH’S Law (Torah). The world-wide flood was used to cleanse or baptize the entire earth, for even the earth was cursed and transgressed YAHUAH’S Law. John the Baptist taught baptism because the children of Yasharal (Israel) were living in Roman captivity and were forgetting YAHUAH’S Law (Torah), along with being immersed in Babylonian traditions. And therefore, they were in-need of cleansing and recommitting themselves to the Torah.
Throughout the Torah, YAHUAH has given us a list of reasons to cleanse ourselves with water. Water cleanses our physical body from disease and uncleanliness, while renewing us from sin. It gives us a chance to start over. YAHUAH tells us,
Isaiah 43:25: I, even I, am He that blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and will not remember your sins.
Once we arise out of the water, we are reborn into a new family; YAHUAH’S family. This means that we no longer identify ourselves with anything of this world. Whether it be class, ethnicity, ego, etc., we no longer allow the world to shape our views. Paul tells us,
Galatians 3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek [Black or White], there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Yahushua HaMashiach.
In order to be reborn in Mashiach, we have to let our old self die. All of our old desires, pagan traditions, and lusts of the flesh can no longer live if we are going to walk with Aluahim. Paul writes,
Roman 6:6: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Furthermore, he writes,
2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Mashiach, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The way we used to carry ourselves, how we used to speak, how we used to dress, what we used to put in our mouths, and so-on. All these things should change when we choose to walk in Mashiach. Says Paul,
Romans 6:3-4: Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Yahushua HaMashiach were Baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Mashiach was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
And,
Romans 6:11: Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto Aluahim through Yahushua HaMashiach.
Baptism is a renewal of YAHUAH’S covenant – which is His Torah. When we immerse ourselves in water, we are proclaiming to Aluahim that we no longer want to purposely break His Torah (Law). Baptism is one huge step towards Mashiach.
Most people think that once they are baptized, they are saved. This is far from the truth, for it is a daily effort to let our old self die, and not let sin reign in our body. We will be tempted every day, in all situations, to return back to serving our fleshly desires. Our adversaries will always be there, whispering sweet and subtle words in our ears. We will be tried day after day, but “Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which Yahushua has promised to them that love him” (James 1:12). And, “he that overcomes shall inherit all things: and I will be His Aluahim, and he shall be My son” (Revelation 21:7).
So, what is the proper way to become baptized?
Matthew writes,
Matthew 28:19-20: Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
In The Name
Most people do not fully understand this passage (Matthew 28:19-20), and therefore, literally dunk people under water in the name of: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is a Trinitarian doctrine which is not Biblical, and is not what Yahushua was telling us to do when he commanded it.
The Greek word used for name is onoma (on’om-ah), Strong’s Concordance number 3686: a name, authority, or character. So, we can read the above passage (Matthew 28:19) as,
“in the authority or character (onoma) of the Father and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit”.
In the previous verse Yahushua (after he was risen) shares with his disciples that,
Matthew 28:18: All power (authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
The Greek word used for power is exousia (ex-oo-see’-ah), this is Strong’s Concordance number 1849: power to act, authority.
Yahushua HaMashiach holds all power and authority in both heaven and earth. In the name of, or in the authority of, or in the character of, or in the power of Yahushua – the son of YAHUAH and king of Aluahim’s Kingdom – are we to be baptized in. The only name we need to declare for water baptism, is the mighty name of Yahushua HaMashiach; our king, savior, high priest whom YAHUAH has granted to reign over His Kingdom. The apostle writes,
Acts 4:12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
And Yahushua says,
John 14:13-14: And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the son. If you shall ask any thing in my name [character, authority], I will do it.
And, Yahushua tells us that,
John 14:6: … I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.
I will first mention that this verse was altered by the Roman Catholic Church sometime in the 3rd or 4th Century A.D. Even though the Enemy changed this verse, we can still search the Scriptures, compare passages, and uncover the Truth to what the Messiah was actually telling his disciples. Let’s start with better understanding the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit).
The Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit)
Holy Spirit can be received both before or after water baptism.
One example of receiving the Holy Spirit before baptism, is when the apostle Peter was preaching the gospel to both Jews and Gentiles alike. These men believed the Word and were converted instantly, and “the Holy Spirit fell on all them which heard the Word”. Peter then answered, “Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Yahushua” (Acts 10:47-48).
An example of receiving the Holy Spirit after water baptism is also found in the book of Acts. A group of disciples whom were baptized by John the Baptist had not received the Holy Spirit until after Paul baptized them in the name of Yahushua, “And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke with tongues, and prophesied” (Acts 19:6).
These two examples tell us that it would be quite presumptuous to baptize someone in the actual name of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodash), being that it is poured out unto us from Aluahim separate from water baptism.
Now, it is time to learn what and whom the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit) is. Paul plainly tells us,
2 Corinthians 3:17: Now Yahushua is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of Yahushua is, there is liberty.
Yahushua says, “I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you” (John 14:20). This is why we say, “Mashiach dwells in you”, or “We are in Mashiach”, because Mashiach is the Holy Spirit which dwells in us and gives us the power to act as a messiah (anointed and chosen by Aluahim). And we are the temple (or church) of Aluahim in which his Spirit dwells, “… and where the Spirit of Yahushua is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17). Freedom from sin that is.
The Trinity doctrine teaches that the Holy Spirit is a separate person, and is not neither the Father nor the son yet is also both the Father and the son (very confusing). This doctrine goes directly against the Testimony, because the Scriptures clearly states that the Holy Spirit is Yahushua HaMashiach and Yahushua HaMashiach – is the Spirit of Aluahim that dwells in him and also in you and me. There are not three Aluah’s (Gods) in heaven. Our Creator is One Aluahim – YAHUAH – who delegates power and authority to His people; His messengers (angels), His children (Yasharal), and His Mashiach (Yahushua).
The Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit) is known as: Aluahim’s Glory, Aluahim’s Cloud, Aluahim’s Spirit, Aluahim’s Presence, and the Comforter. Yahushua tells his disciples,
John 14:16-17: And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows bim: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.
Yahushua is telling his disciples that they already know the Comforter or Spirit of Truth. This Comforter is currently with them because Yahushua was completely filled with this Spirit, and when Yahushua leaves, he says it will dwell in them. The Comforter was already in the world before Yahushua came, but Yahushua was born of that Spirit (refer to Luke 1:35) and it dwelt in him and he fully became that Spirit (refer to Colossians 2:9). This is what makes Yahushua the son of YAHUAH Aluahim – he was conceived from the Spirit of Aluahim. And when Yahushua went to heaven, that same Spirit (Comforter) continued to dwell in those who are adopted as Aluahim’s children – those who are reborn, live for the Kingdom of Aluahim, and keep His Law (Torah). Those who choose to live more like an Aluahim and less like a sinful man (refer to Psalm 82:6, Genesis 1:27). This is the way in which Aluahim can be with us, speak with us, teach us, guide us, and assist us in becoming more like Him and less like the Devil.
Yahushua says,
John 16:7: Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
Next, it is confirmed that the Comforter is the Holy Spirit. This Spirit is sent forth to dwell in Aluahim’s children. Through His Spirit, Aluahim teaches us all things. Yahushua says,
John 14:26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Lastly, we are told yet again, whom the Comforter, or Holy Spirit is. Yahushua tells us,
John 14:18: I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
The Scriptures give us multiple testimonies to ensure that without a doubt, Yahushua HaMashiach is the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodash)! Yahushua further says,
Matthew 10:20: For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaks in you.
Before we move any further, I must point out that the word “he” to describe the Holy Spirit is purposely translated that way in order to support the Trinity doctrine and the deification of Yahushua. the word “he” is the Greek word “autos”. This is Strong’s Concordance number 846, autos: (1) self (emphatic) (2) he, she, it (used for the third pers. pron.) (3) the same.
The Holy Spirit is the power of YAHUAH that dwells in those who belong to Him. Yahushua spoke of “it” (the Holy Spirit) from a third person perspective as if he were the Holy Spirit because he was filled with it at all times (it became him and his character). He constantly lived in that higher state of consciousness.
In the above verse (Matthew 10:20), Yahushua plainly tells us that “it” (the Holy Spirit) belongs to YAHUAH. Yahushua is merely the new creation of man (first and last) whom dwelt fully and always in that Light. Yahushua whom was merely a man, proceeds from the Father, “I proceeded forth and came from Aluahim, (John 8:42), he says, because he was conceived from “it” – the Holy Spirit. It is YAHUAH that “speaks in you” through that Spirit that dwelt fully in Yahushua the Mashiach – our king and the first of the new creation (refer to Colossians 1:15, 1 Corinthians 15:20, 45-47).
Notice the Greek word used for Comforter in John 16:7, and John 14:16, and verse 26. This is Strong’s Concordance number 3875, parakletos (par-ak-lay-tos): an advocate, intercessor, a consoler, comforter, helper.
This word is used five times in the Bible. Four times it is translated as Comforter, while the other is translated as Advocate. In John’s Epistle, he makes it absolutely clear that the Comforter; the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, the Spirit of Aluahim, is physically manifested in the form of the man Yahushua HaMashiach. We read,
1 John 2:1: My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate (parakleton) with the Father, Yahushua HaMashiach the righteous.
Yahushua HaMashiach is our intercessor, advocate, comforter, and teacher. He is the physical form in which the fullness of Aluahim’s Spirit resides. This is what it takes to be a king and high priest in YAHUAH’S Kingdom. Once we are a new creature, we too will be a vessel for the Holy Spirit to dwell in and will also become kings and priests in YAHUAH’S Kingdom. In the letter to the Romans, Paul writes,
Romans 8:26: Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Then just eight verses later, he tells us plainly that it is the Mashiach who is our intercessor which is the job of a king and high priest – to intercede between man and Aluahim. We read,
Romans 8:34: Who is he that condemns? It is Mashiach that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even in the right hand of YAHUAH, who also makes intercession for us.
The Holy Spirit of YAHUAH dwells in bodily form in the man Yahushua – the Messiah or chosen one to become the king of Aluahim’s Kingdom and the first of His new creation. It is Yahushua or the Spirit of the chosen one (Mashiach) that lights up our tabernacle, so that YAHUAH may be glorified. We are nothing without YAHUAH, and we can do nothing good without YAHUAH. It is because YAHUAH lives in us through His Spirit that we are able to both love Him and gain knowledge of Him. Yahushua says,
John 15:5: I am the Vine, you are the branches: he that abides in me, and I in him, that same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.
Now John tells us,
1 John 4:2: Hereby know you the Spirit of YAHUAH: Every spirit that confesses that Yahushua HaMashiach is come in the flesh is of YAHUAH.
If we confess that Aluahim’s Spirit came in the flesh, then we are Aluahim’s children. And, “the Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of Aluahim” (Romans 8:16). But, confessing this means knowing the Spirit of Aluahim. “Know you the Spirit of Aluahim”, writes John (in 1 John 4:2). And whom is the Spirit of Aluahim?
The Spirit of Aluahim (Ruach HaQodash), which is also called the Holy Spirit:
- Is not another being, but is the presence or Glory of Aluahim (refer to Psalm 139:7, 51:11).
- Is the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter, the Spirit of the Father (refer to Matthew 10:19-20).
- Is the Spirit of Mashiach (refer to Romans 8:9).
- Is the breath, character, and life of Aluahim (refer to John 20:20).
- Is Aluahim that lives in us (refer to John 14:18, 1 Cor. 3:16). And Aluahim sends forth this same Holy Spirit into our hearts (refer to Galatians 4:6).
- Is Yahushua HaMashiach (refer to 2 Corinthians 3:17). And, Yahushua HaMashiach is the man whom the fullness of Aluahim dwells in bodily form (refer to John 20:28).
By believing that the Holy Spirit is a separate person, or that Aluahim is two or three, means to deny His Spirit. Believing in the Trinity or that Yahushua is YAHUAH is a misinterpretation of the Scriptures.
Simply put, Yahushua is the son of YAHUAH in whom was conceived by YAHUAH’S Spirit (or Breath) and through Yahushua’s actions he became righteous and perfect and therefore the Spirit never left him until right before death. Because Yahushua lived a continual life of righteousness, he rose to the level of an Aluahim (refer to Psalm 145:17, Romans 3:21-31). We too can rise to the level of an Aluahim, if we choose to live a continual life of righteousness and allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in us at all times (Refer to Romans 8:16-17).
Yahushua tells us,
Matthew 12:32: And whosoever speaks a word against the son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
The above Scripture may seem confusing if you believe that all of what the Holy Spirit is, is Yahushua. We are plainly told that the Spirit is from Aluahim and Aluahim cannot be contained (refer to 1 Kings 8:27). The entire vessel of Yahushua was Light (the Holy Spirit) but not all of the Holy Spirit (or Breath of Aluahim) was contained in the vessel of the man Yahushua.
The Holy Spirit (which is infinite) is the way in which YAHUAH, being in heaven, can dwell in us, here in earth or in heaven.
Yahushua is simply telling us, that if we live a continual life of sin (which is the definition of the only unforgivable sin), then YAHUAH’S Spirit (Holy Spirit or Breath) will not dwell in us and therefore we cannot be saved. This brings us to better understanding what being baptized with fire is, and we will touch on that momentarily.
I’ve heard people say that the Holy Spirit has a personality, and so it must be a separate being. Yes, it does have a personality; that of Aluahim. All of the characteristics of Aluahim dwelt in His son. And so the way in which His son lived and walked, so should we. Paul writes,
1 Corinthians 2:16: For who has known the mind of Aluahim, that He may instruct him? But we have the mind of Mashiach.
In Hebrew terminology, the mind, the heart, and the spirit are one and the same. The mind of Mashiach is Aluahim’s Spirit that dwells in us, perfecting our thoughts and actions, keeping us in His ways, leading us towards Him, and helping us live as Messiahs – chosen ones to reign as kings and priests (refer to 1 Peter 2:9-17, John 15:16-19, Revelation 1:6, 5:10, Psalm 82:6). The prophet David writes,
Psalm 51:10: Create in me a clean heart, O YAHUAH; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence; and take not Your Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit) from me. Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation [referring to Yahushua] and uphold me with Your free Spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Your ways; and sinners shall be converted unto You.
There is only One Aluahim, the invisible Father, in whom interacts with us through His Spirit. And that Spirit can dwell in us if we are righteous and doing His will. He comforts us with His presence, in the form of His Spirit (or His Breath). This Spirit teaches us, renews us, and keeps us in the path of righteousness so that we can worship, praise, and give glory to Him – YAHUAH Aluahim the Creator of the heavens, the earth, the seas, and everything in them.
When we read the Testimony of Aluahim, we will never read a passage of three nor two separate beings, but rather One being. This being YAHUAH; our Aluahim, whom is also our Savior through the man Yahushua – which is His son in whom was completely filled with the Holy Spirit at all times.
Bible translators have purposely deceived readers by mistranslating verses to better fit their Trinitarian belief. All it takes is one mistranslated word, or one misuse of an article or proposition, for an entire doctrine to change. For example, during Yahushua’s baptism we read:
John 1:32 (KJV): And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode Him.
John 1:32 (NIV): Then John gave this testimony: I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on Him.
The word “like” differs from the word “as”. The King James Version Bible uses the word “like” to imply a metaphor, The Spirit descended like a dove. The New International Version Bible uses the word “as” to imply that the Holy Spirit is a dove. This is why you will see the pagan paintings of Christ, the Father, and a dove in between them, to depict the triune Aluahim. There is also often a sun disk behind them representing sun worship. These images are of pagan deities, and the majority of images you see that are said to be of the Mashiach are not what he really looked like nor dressed like. Either way, we are told not to make any image of Aluahim (refer to Exodus 20:4-6) or to create idols (such as crosses and paintings or images of the Messiah). And as we have clearly revealed, the Holy Spirit is not a separate person. Scriptures like this one, is just another example of pagan doctrines slyly being inserted in the minds of professed followers of Mashiach (Christians, as they call themselves).
So, what does it mean to be baptized in the authority (onoma) of the Holy Spirit? Yahushua tells us,
John 3:5: Most assuredly, I say unto you, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of Aluahim.
See, Yahushua separated the two; water baptism and Spirit baptism. This is why we see in the Acts of the Apostles that water baptism is separate from the pouring out of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodash). Yahushua wants us to understand that baptism is not just of water, but of fire. This baptism is not like water baptism; physical in appearance, but rather spiritual, filling us with Aluahim’s Breath and Radiance. Speaking about the Mashiach, John the Baptist said,
Matthew 3:11: I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that comes after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire.
Baptism of fire, is the same as baptism of the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit). Water baptism is performed by man, while baptism by Ruach (Spirit) can only be performed by Aluahim Himself. And that is what happened to Yahushua directly after water baptism – YAHUAH poured out His Spirit unto His son whom was also conceived of that same Spirit. Yahushua the Messiah radiated Holy Spirit, and that is why all it took was a touch of his garment to be healed. The apostle said,
Acts 1:5: For John truly baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence.
Birth of water is a water baptism; choosing to no longer live for our fleshly desires. Birth of Spirit is a baptism of Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit): Aluahim’s Spirit (breath, life, and character) that enlightens, quickens, and purifies our soul. Showering us with the knowledge of the Truth, gifts of the Spirit, and wisdom of YAHUAH. This only happens through a life or practice in temperance – perfecting self-control and strengthening the will power of the mind. Yahushua says,
John 3:6: That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Once we are reborn both in flesh and spirit, we can “worship Aluahim in Spirit and in Truth” (John 4:23-24). Aluahim’s obedient children live to please Him in every action, word, and thought. We keep His Torah (Law), and the Testimony of Yahushua HaMashiach. We no longer live for ourselves, but to please our Father in heaven. The apostle puts it this way, “That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of Aluahim” (1 Peter 4:2).
If we are baptized by water, but still do not obey Aluahim, then we will not receive His Ruach (Spirit), and therefore are not “born of Ruach (Spirit)”. And are therefore, denying the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. The Holy Spirit is poured out only unto those who obey YAHUAH,
Acts 5:32: And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Spirit, whom YAHUAH has given to them that obey Him.
Obeying Aluahim means keeping His Torah (Law). Yahushua tells us,
John 14:15-18: If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Receiving the Ruach HaQodash (Holy Spirit) is a blessing from Aluahim, and is essential for both our personal growth and salvation. Only by the Spirit of Aluahim can we: begin to correctly understand both Scripture and prophesy, and properly discern between good and evil, and truth and lies, and live as a messiah – a king and priest to Aluahim. Yahushua said,
John 14:26: But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name (in my authority or character), He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
When anyone, including professed followers of Mashiach (Christians), claim that the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodash) is working in them, but do not obey YAHUAH by striving to keep His Torah (Law); His ten commandments, His precepts and ordinances, and His appointed times, then they are both deceived and or liars. We are told,
John 9:31: Now we know that YAHUAH hears not sinners (transgressors of the Torah): but if any man be a worshipper of YAHUAH (Torah keepers), and does His will, him He hears.
The spirit in these people is not the Ruach (Spirit) of Aluahim, but rather a spirit from demons masquerading as angels of light. This is why we are warned,
1 John 4:1: Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of YAHUAH: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
This way we will not allow ourselves to be deceived by anyone who is trying to lead us away from the Word of Aluahim. Remember, “To the Torah (Law) and to the Testimony (Prophets and Writings): if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them” (Isaiah 8:20). And, who is the light of the world? Then spoke Yahushua again unto them, saying, “I (Yahushua) am the Light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of life” (John 8:12).
Aluahim’s Ruach (Spirit) dwells in those who live according to His Torah (Law), and His Word. It is Aluahim’s Spirit that lights up our hearts with the Truth, while eradicating inner darkness and ignorance. By following after His commandments will we be granted His Ruach (Spirit) to lighten up the path towards everlasting life.
A true baptism is that of both water immersion, and the pouring out of Aluahim’s Ruach (Spirit). These two baptisms together is a true rebirth and renewal of one’s soul.
Father And The Son
Now, what does it mean to be baptized “in the name of the Father, and the Son”? Remember, this could be read as, “in the authority of the Father, and the Son”.
To comprehend this passage, we must first better understand what it means to do something in the name, authority, and character of Aluahim.
Yahushua plainly told us that,
John 5:43: I have come in my Father’s name (onoma)..
Let me remind you of the definition of the Greek word Onomos: name, authority, character, (figuratively) the manifestation or revelation of someone’s character, i.e. as distinguishing them from all others.
Yahushua came in YAHUAH Aluahim’s character. And what is the character of Aluahim?
YAHUAH is Holy (refer to Leviticus 21:8, 20:26, 20:7, 19:2, Exodus 19:6, 1 Peter 1:16,1 These. 4:7), YAHUAH is Perfect (refer to Psalm 19:7, Matthew 5:48), YAHUAH is Just and Righteous (refer to 2 Thess. 1:6, Deuteronomy 32:4, Psalm 89:14, Psalm 11:7, Romans 6:28), YAHUAH is Good (refer to Psalm 100:5), YAHUAH is Merciful and Forgiving (refer Exodus 34:6, Psalm 103:8). YAHUAH cannot sin (refer to Numbers 23:19, 1 John 3:9, Titus 1:2).
Those are the characteristics (anomos) of Aluahim, and they are the exact same characteristics of His son – Yahushua HaMashiach. This is why Paul writes,
Colossians 2:9: For in him (Yahushua) all the fullness of Aluahim dwells in bodily form.
And why Yahushua told his disciples that,
John 10:30: I and my Father are one.
Yahushua exhibited all of the characteristics of his Father, and this is what he meant when he said, “he that seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). The way in which Yahushua lived his life was exactly how YAHUAH wanted him to (refer to John 5:30). It is the exact way in which YAHUAH wants all men to live. And once we are washed clean and reborn to live for the will of Aluahim, then we too are considered to be YAHUAH Aluahim’s children and thus will exhibit the characteristics of Aluahim. Yahushua was the example given to us in how we ought to live. The beloved Apostle writes,
1 John 5:20: And we know that the son of Aluahim is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is True, and we are in Him that is True, even in His son Yahushua HaMashiach. This is the True Aluahim, and eternal life.
When we begin to strive to keep Aluahim’s Law; the Law that teaches us how to become more like Aluahim, then we will also become one with Aluahim, the same mind and characteristics. This is why Yahushua prayed,
John 17:23: I in them, and You in me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent me, and have loved them as You have loved me.
Most people do not understand what Yahushua was saying when he often spoke of him and the Father being one and the same. Yahushua was simply the spokesperson for YAHUAH. He is the king of YAHUAH’S Kingdom whom upholds the Law of the land (heavenly jurisdiction). All that the king does or says comes straight from Aluahim. He is a representative of Aluahim and therefore when you are in the presence of the king, you might as well be in the presence of Aluahim.
Most New Testament Bible translators took advantage of both the way in which Yahushua spoke and the lack of an average person’s knowledge of biblical history to purposely reintroduce ancient pagan religions such as, the Trinity, and a deity living amongst us in the form of a man (i.e. half deity/half man or full deity born as man). There is only One Aluahim and His king whom reigns over His people. John writes,
John 17:3: And this is life eternal, that they might know You the Only True Aluahim, and Yahushua HaMashiach, whom You have sent.
Now let’s take a look at the passage that people use to back their personal belief that all prayers should end with “in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach (or whom the world calls Jesus Christ)”. This error that is practiced throughout all of Christendom, is due to the lack of knowledge in the Scriptures (not studying them properly), and the improper rendering of both the Greek and Hebrew texts. The Mashiach says,
John 14:13-14: And whatever you ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the son. If you ask anything in my name (anomos), I will do it.
Once again, we see this Greek word, anomos – which can be translated as name, authority, or character. This word holds more meaning behind it than just a name. It is similar to the definition of the Hebrew word for name – which is shem. This is Strong’s Concordance number 8034, Shem: name, base, infamous, renown. A primitive word. An appellation, as a mark or memorial of individuality; by implication honor, authority, character.
You have to ask yourself, where in the Bible was there ever a prayer recorded that began or ended with “in the name of”? Nowhere!
You won’t find that being said in neither the Tanakh (Old Testament) nor the Brit Chadashah (New Testament). The Mashiach even gave us examples of prayer (refer to Matthew 6 and John 17). Yahushua never ended his prayer with, “in my name” or “in your name”. In Matthew chapter 6, we are obviously told to direct our prayers to the Heavenly Father. Both Daniel and David directed their prayers and praises to YAHUAH Aluahim – the Heavenly Father. To YAHUAH alone do we direct our prayers and praises!
The false practice of praying in the name of the Mashiach is pagan. We should never pray to anyone else but our Creator and Heavenly Father, YAHUAH – the One and only Aluahim. This includes praying to the Mashiach, praying through the Mashiach, and praying in the name of Mashiach.
The Torah (Law) reminds us,
Deuteronomy 6:4: Hear, O Yasharal; YAHUAH our Aluahim is One YAHUAH.
When we are told to ask in the Messiah’s name, he is telling us to ask in his character. How do I know this? Well, the Apostle Paul plainly tells us that,
John 9:31: Now we know that Aluahim does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of Aluahim and does His will, He hears him.
We are told that “sin is transgression of the Law [Torah]” (1 John 3:4). And “to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17). The Apostles are not telling us that YAHUAH will hear you if you pray in the name of the Messiah. They are telling us that if you pray while striving to hold the characteristics of Aluahim which are the exact characteristics of the Mashiach, then He will hear you and answer your prayer. These characteristics include being; perfect, holy, righteous, just, merciful, forgiving, and upholding the Truth. YAHUAH will hear those who strive to “worship Him in Spirit and in Truth” (John 4:24). In other words, He hears those who are granted His Ruach HaQodash and strive to keep His Law (Torah), which is the Truth.
When we strive to be like Mashiach, YAHUAH Aluahim will hear our prayers.
That is what it means “to be in Mashiach” – to become a messiah ourselves. To become adopted as YAHUAH’S son or daughter, to be chosen as a special people (the tribe of Yasharal), and to reign with Yahushua as a king and priest. Anything (within the parameters of the Law) we ask our Heavenly Father YAHUAH for, in the character of Messiah – a child of Aluahim whom keeps the Law (Torah) of Aluahim and does His will, will be heard and granted.
The reason why the religion of Christianity teaches us to pray in the name of the Messiah, is so that the Adversary can deceive us into praying unto a false deity. By changing the biblical doctrines (making the Messiah Aluahim), removing the Torah (which was supposedly nailed to the cross according to Christianity), changing the baptism formula (into a Trinity), and by changing the literal name and character of the Messiah (refer to John 5:43), the Devil was able to get people to direct their prayers to this new false deity named Jesus Christ – who teaches an entirely different doctrine than that of the true Messiah.
Biblical Examples
If we do not study the Scriptures for ourselves then we will be led to our eternal destruction. The baptism formula can easily be found in the book of The Acts of the Apostles. All of Christendom (a pagan religion) seems to ignores the testimonies of the very first followers of Mashiach, and the apostles whom walked, spoke, and ate with the Mashiach. They take the one single verse that says, “baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit”, and wrongfully baptize someone into a pagan Trinitarian doctrine. They completely ignore the next verse that says, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you”. The Acts of the Apostles show exactly what Yahushua the Messiah commanded them to do.
YAHUSHU’S disciples knew exactly what he was telling them to do when he explained to them how to baptize a true believer who wants to be reborn, because after all, it was the son of Aluahim who commanded them. Therefore, how they performed baptisms is the way in which Yahushua directed them, and so we should follow the same example.
Now, let’s take a look at a few examples.
Example 1: After hearing the gospel of Yahushua, a group of devout Jews (Yahudim) in Yarushalam (Jerusalem) were convicted in their hearts, they then asked Peter and the other disciples what the next step was. “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name Yahushua HaMashiach for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).
Example 2: The apostle Peter preached the Gospel of Mashiach unto a group of both Jews (Yahudim) and Gentiles in Caesarea, and as soon as the Gentiles heard the message they believed and were filled with the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaQodash). Peter, along with the Yahudim (Jews) were astonished. Peter then, “commanded them to be baptized in the name Yahushua HaMashiach” (Acts 10:48).
Example 3: The apostle Paul was preaching the gospel of Yahushua in Corinth to a group of people whom were previously baptized by John the Baptist. “When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach” (Acts 19:5).
Example 4: The apostle Phillip preached the gospel of Yahushua to a certain eunuch of Ethiopia whom was on his way to Yarushalam (Jerusalem) to worship. “And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, if thou believe with all thine heart, thou may. And he answered and said, I believe that Yahushua HaMashiach is the son of Aluahim” (Acts 8:36-37).
Example 5: When Paul was on the verge of being killed by a group of Yahudim (Jews), he asked the chief captain to allow himself to stand before the people and give his testimony of conversion. He spoke to them in the Hebrew tongue about the time when Mashiach appeared unto him. When he was led to Damascus, he met a follower of Mashiach, Ananias. This man told Paul, “arise, and be baptized in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach” (Acts 22:16).
Example 6: Acts 8:12: But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of Aluahim, and the name of Yahushua HaMashiach, they were baptized, both men and women.
Example 7: Acts 8:16: For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of Yahushua.
The Scriptures make it very clear that we are ready for water baptism once we truly believe and profess that Yahushua is indeed the son of Aluahim. We are baptized in the name of the Mashiach, because we are baptized “into” Yahushua HaMashiach.
Paul asks the rhetorical question in the first letter to the Corinthians,
1 Corinthians 1:13: Is Mashiach divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
The obvious answer to this rhetorical question is, No. We are baptized in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach. Not into three separate titles (i.e. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), not into a Trinity, and not into the belief that Yahushua is Aluahim in the flesh. And most definitely not in the name of the one the world calls Jesus Christ because that is the deity and idol of the pagan religion of Christianity.
Baptism is a symbol of both Yahushua and our death, burial, and resurrection. It is a declaration of citizenship in the Kingdom of Aluahim. A proclamation to both live and die for the king of New Yarushalam.
Writes Paul to the Romans,
Romans 6:4: Therefore we are buried with him (Yahushua) by baptism into death: that like as Mashiach was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
And in the letter to the Galatians, he writes,
Galatians 2:20: I am crucified with Mashiach: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Mashiach that lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of Aluahim, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Notice how Paul said that it is Mashiach that now lives in him. The Spirit of Messiah – the Ruach HaQodash – filled Paul, and at the time of writing the letter to the Galatians, he was a messiah – a chosen son of Aluahim whom was filled with the Ruach HaQodash. Just like Yahushua, Paul no longer lived for himself, but for the will of his Father in Heaven. Paul further writes,
Galatians 3:27: For as many of you as have been baptized into Mashiach have put on Mashiach.
Full immersion under water should be a complete rebirth of our soul – becoming a Messiah (an anointed one) to Aluahim. It is a sign to YAHUAH, telling Him that we will no longer purposely transgress His Torah (Law), but live to fulfill His will and not our own. To live for His Kingdom in where Yahushua is our king and high priest. To walk as Messiah did, and to carry ourselves as a king and priest to YAHUAH Aluahim (refer to Exodus 19:6, Isaiah 61:6, 1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 1:6).
Baptism gives us a clean slate to finally obey our Creator. We are no longer a part of this earthly world, but a part of the Body of Messiah, who lives for the Kingdom of Aluahim. We now fight alongside our king Yahushua to eradicate darkness by being a light in the world. Our king tells us,
Matthew 5:14-16: You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Baptism all together is no light thing. We become washed, made new, and no longer live for ourselves. Not only are we accepting Yahushua as our king, but promising Aluahim to keep His covenant Law. This daily commitment is acknowledged, and we have a hope at being counted as just, righteous, and worthy to reign as a king and priest in heaven, and then later (after a thousand years) on live forever in a paradise on earth. Paul says,
1 Corinthians 6:9-11: Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of Aluahim? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate [cross-dressers and transgenders], nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor verbal abusers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of Aluahim. And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Master Yahushua, and by the Spirit of our Aluahim.
We can only be properly baptized once. Therefore, we must carefully examine ourselves before committing to such a noble yet extremely difficult lifestyle.
A proper baptism has to be in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach and proclaiming that YAHUAH is the One and Only True Aluahim and Savior. If you were baptized into a Trinity or into the name of Jesus, Yahweh, Jehovah, Yeshua, or any other name other than the only name given among men, then it was an improper baptism and must be performed again.

Changed Verse
Even though I have shown plenty of Biblical evidence that baptism should be performed in the Messiah’s name, there are many professed followers of Messiah (Christians) whom are convinced that we should be baptizing people literally in the titles of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – a Trinity doctrine that was never taught by the Messiah nor his Disciples.
If Yahushua supposedly told us in Matthew 28:19 to baptize in these three names which are technically titles, then we must ask the question, why is it that the Apostles deliberately disobeyed their Master in whom they believed to be the son of YAHUAH Aluahim?
Interestingly, every devout follower of Mashiach was baptized in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach (the one they wrongfully call Jesus Christ) all the way through the 3rd Century.
The trinitarian method of baptism was not used by the true followers of the Mashiach. It was Rome (the Catholic Church) that made it tradition to baptize someone into a Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There are multiple sources that back the claim that the RCC changed the baptism formula along with the original doctrine taught by the Mashiach.
In the Catholic Catechism, we read the following paragraph:
“Into Christ. The Bible tells us that Christians were baptized into Christ (no. 6) They belong to Christ. The Acts of the Apostles (2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5) tells us of baptizing “in the name (person) of Jesus [Yahushua].” – a better translation would be “into the name (person) of Jesus [Yahushua being His name].” Only in the 4th Century did the formula “In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” become customary.”
– (Bible Catechism, Rev. John C Kersten, S.V.D., Catholic Book Publishing Co., N.Y., N.Y.; 1973, p. 164)
And in the Encyclopaedia Britannica 11 Edition Volume 3 pg. 365-366, we read,
“The Baptismal Formula.-The trinitarian formula and trine immersion were not uniformly used from the beginning, nor did they always go together. The Teaching of the Apostles, indeed [rather presumptuously], prescribes baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, but on the next page speaks of those who have been baptized into the name of the Lord-the normal formula of the New Testament. In the 3rd century baptism in the name of Christ was still so widespread that Pope Stephen, in opposition to Cyprian of Carthage, declared it to be valid. From Pope Zachariah (Ep. x.) we learn that the Celtic missionaries in baptizing omitted one or more persons of the Trinity, and this was one of the reasons why the church of Rome anathematized them [referring to the three titles]; Pope Nicholas, however (858-867), in the Responsa ad consulta Bulgarorum, allowed baptism to be valid tantum in nomine Christi, as in the Acts. Basil, in his work On the Holy Spirit just mentioned, condemns “baptism into the Lord alone ” as insufficient. Baptism ” into the death of Christ” is often specified by the Armenian fathers as that which alone was essential.” –
– Encyclopedia Britannica 11 Edition Volume 3 pg. 365-366
The Catholic Encyclopedia, Vol. 8 informs us that it was Justin Martyr, an early Roman Catholic Church Apologist and Philosopher, who helped change the baptism formula from “in the name of Christ” to the titles of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And after reading pages 263-265 in the Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913 edition, we find more evidence that it was indeed Rome (RCC) that made the triune baptism formula a tradition.
The Testimony of Mashiach (the Bible) does not ever lead the reader to believe in three separate co-eternal persons. The baptism triune formula along with the triune doctrine was incorporated into the Messiah’s teachings which brought about a new universal religion invented by Rome. In his book, Introduction to Christianity, Catholic Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (pope Benedict XVI) writes,
“The basic form of our profession of faith [referring to Catholicism] took shape during the course of the second and third centuries in connection with the ceremony of baptism [the triune formula]. So far as its place of origin is concerned, the text [possibly referring to Matthew 28:19] came from the city of Rome.”
– Catholic Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (pope Benedict XVI) Introduction to Christianity
The Scriptures make it clear that,
1 Corinthians 8:6: There is but One Aluahim, the Father of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one master Yahushua HaMashiach, by whom are all things, and we by him.
There are only two verses in the Bible that lead the reader into possibly thinking that there are three co-eternal persons in heaven, and neither one of them match up to the rest of the Scriptures because they were added by the Catholic church to create a new religion based on old pagan beliefs, philosophies, and traditions. One of the two added verses in which we will not break down in this article, is the famous “Comma Johanneum” (1 John 5:7). The second verse that was added in Scripture was the one we just broke down, Matthew 28:19. We have uncovered that this verse does not reflect the acts of the apostles, nor does is match the rest of the Scriptures. This is because Matthew 28:19 was changed by the Roman Catholic church to better serve their pagan belief in a triune deity, and most theologians will agree to this change.
For a deeper study on Trinitarianism and to learn more about the “Comma Johanneum”, please read the article, Babylon The Great, an Ancient Trinitarian Religion.
Unfortunately, we have no known manuscripts that were written in the first, second, or third centuries. Although, we do have a first-hand witness showing that this verse was changed. Eusebius (AD 260 – 340) was the Bishop of Caesarea and is known as “the Father of Church History”. Although he wrote prolifically, his most celebrated work is his Ecclesiastical History, a history of the church from the Apostolic period until his own time. Today it is still the principal work on the history of the Christian church at that time. Eusebius quotes many verses in his writings, and Matthew 28:19 is one of them. He never quotes it as it appears today in modern Bibles, but always finishes the verse with the words “in My name”. Below, are excerpts from letters and books written by Eusebius. We read,
“But while the disciples of Jesus [Yahushua] were most likely either saying thus, or thinking thus, the Master solved their difficulties, by the addition of one phrase, saying they should triumph “In MY NAME.” And the power of His name being so great, that the apostle says: “God [Aluahim] has given Him a name which is above every name, that in the name of Jesus [Yahushua] every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,” He shewed the virtue of the power in His Name concealed from the crowd when He said to His disciples: “Go, and make disciples of all the nations in My Name.” He also most accurately forecasts the future when He says: “for this gospel must first be preached to all the world, for a witness to all nations.”
– (Proof of the Gospel by Eusebius, Book III, ch 7, 136 (a-d), p 157)
He further writes,
“Who said to them; “make disciples of all the nations in My Name.”
– (Eusibius, Proof of the Gospel, Book III ch 7, 138 (c), p. 159)
And from another book, we read,
“What king of prince in any age of the world, what philosopher, legislator of prophet, in civilized or barbarous lands, has attained so great a height of excellence, I say not after death, but while living still, and full of mighty power, as to fill the ears and tongues of all mankind with the praises of His name? Surely none save our only Savior has done this, when, after His victory over death, He spoke the word to His followers, and fulfilled it by the event, saying to them, “Go ye and make disciples of all nations in My name.”
Countless Theologians and Bible translators will agree to the fact that the word “baptism” was also added.
We read from Word Biblical Commentary,
“The disciples are further told to ‘baptize’ (the second of the participles functioning as supplementary imperatives) new disciples. The command to baptize comes as somewhat of a surprise since baptism is referred to earlier only in chap. 3 (and 21:25) where only John’s baptism is described (among the Gospels only in John 3:22; 4:1-2 do we read of Jesus [Yahushua] or His disciples baptizing others). Matthew tells us nothing concerning his view of Christian baptism. Only Matthew records this command of Jesus [Yahushua], but the practice of the early church suggest its historicity. (cf. Acts 2:38, 41; 8:12, 38; 9:18; 10:48; 19:5; 22:16; etc.) The threefold name (at most only in incipient Trinitarianism) in which the baptism was to be performed, on the other hand, seems clearly to be a liturgical expansion of the evangelist consonant with the practice of his day (thus Hubbard; cf. Did. 7.1). There is a good possibility that in its original form, the text read “make disciples in My name” (see Conybeare). This shorter reading preserves the symmetrical rhythm of the passage, whereas the triadic formula fits awkwardly into the structure as one might expect if it were an interpolation. …It is Kosmala, however, who has argued most effectively for the shorter reading, pointing to the central importance of “name of Jesus [Yahushua]” in early Christian preaching, the practice of baptism in the name of Jesus [Yahushua], and the singular “in His name” with reference to the hope of the Gentiles in Isaiah 42:4, quoted by Matthew in 12:18-21. As Carson rightly notes of our passage: “There is no evidence we have Jesus [Yahushua]’ ipsissima verba here” (598). The narrative of Acts notes the use of the name only of “Jesus Christ” [Yahushua HaMashiach] in baptism (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5 cf. Rom. 6:3; Gal. 3:27) or simply “the Lord Jesus” [or the Master Yahushua] (Acts 8:16; 19:5).”
– Word Biblical Commentary, Vol 33B, …Donald A. Hagner, 1975, page 887-888
There are countless quotes referring to the change of this verse, but if you are not convinced, then I suggest to research this topic for yourself. In Proof of the Gospel by Eusebius, Book III, ch 6, 132 (a), p 152, he informs us of the actual words Yahushua spoke to his disciples recorded by the apostle and scribe, Matityahu (Matthew). We read,
“With one word and voice he [Yahushua] said to his disciples: “Go, and make disciples of all nations in my name [character and authorty], teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.”
Below, are examples of an improper baptism:
- not fully immersed in water.
- by the Trinitarian method (father, son, and holy spirit).
- in another name (such as Jesus, Yeshua, Yahshua, Yahusha, Yaheshua, Jehovah, Yahweh, etc.)
- without striving to keep the whole Torah (Law) after baptism.
If you have been improperly baptized, then it is important to be re-baptized in the name of Yahushua HaMashiach. You must believe that Yahushua the Messiah is the son of YAHUAH Aluahim. That he is the lamb of Aluahim that put down his life for your sins, and was risen from the grave on the third day. And that he is your king and high priest, who reigns in the heavenly Kingdom. You must strive to keep the whole Torah (Law); Ten Commandments, Appointed Times (Moedim), and Precepts and Ordinances, and practice communion properly. You must believe the Testimony (Scriptures) of Yahushua HaMashiach with all your heart and strive to walk as he did – to become one with YAHUAH Aluahim. This is a true conversion and biblical baptism in which one chooses to live for the Kingdom of Aluahim and serve the master and king Yahushua HaMashiach. Remember,
Galatians 2:20: I have been crucified with Mashiach; it is no longer I who live, but Mashiach [becoming a Messiah by being filled with the Ruach HaQodash] lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith [faith demands action by keeping the Torah] in the son of Aluahim, who loved me and gave himself for me.
